Hi! Do you know if the gear for the kids is one-size-fits-all from Zion Outfitters? I see on their website that it says fits 8 plus but we have a 5 and 7 year old. Do you think it'll be okay for them as well? And are you able to catch the shuttle into the park directly from Zion Outfitters? Thanks!
Yes, our youngest was 9 when we did the Narrows and the equipment was in good condition and fit fine for him. Zion Outfitters can help you find the right size for your kids.
We went in April, which was beautiful but can be cool some years. Best times to visit are late spring and early fall. From April to May and September to October, the weather is good, crowds are fewer, and hiking conditions are great.
what month did you guys go? looking at a late january trip, but i'm guessing it might be a little cooler than whenever you went. Not sure its worth it to bring my kid in January.
We went in early April. The Narrows were still pretty chilly in early April. It depends on the goals of your trip, it will certainly be pretty in January but also much cooler.

How many days are enough to spend in Zion NP? We have 2 kids- 3yrs & 5yrs old
At least 2 days. You can see and do a lot in a couple days and Bryce Canyon is not a far drive to see more. Have fun!
