I once had a Lumia 535. It was one of the smoothest and fastest devices I had. It had just 1 GB RAM but it could compete with today's 3/4 GB RAM phones. If lack of apps was not a problem, Windows phone would've given a tough competition to iOS/Android.
Actually windows was good enough and the nokia camera app had a lot of features but they changed it to lumia camera because microsoft purchased nokia and then we lost a lot of features. They were expected to come back with an update but it didnt. Very disappointing but I still have the lumia 1020 xD and its still a nice camera phone

I used Nokia Lumia 730 before it got stolen in 2015. Till date after using so many android phones, no phone came close to the user experience that Lumia gave me, be it camera, display, stability of OS, touch sensitivity. I am planning to shift to apple ahead. But still miss that phone.
owned lumia 720. Liked the software, liked the hardware, camera was much better than many sub 20k devices now. Wish they could've sustained more. Apps were never a problem for me. Liked interfaces of the software. They were different. They were good.
Nokia+windows= legendary combination. I still have lumia 640. It's 4& half year old still no lag no hang issue. I changed 3 android phone in 3 years. Just because lumia doesn't support 4g.
