The Sallie House is located in Atchison, Kansas. Built in the mid-1800s, it is said to be haunted by the ghost of a young girl who died in the house while undergoing surgery for appendicitis. The story gained national attention after it was featured on several paranormal television shows.
The Sallie House was built in the mid-1800s, commissioned by the Finney family and home to Dr. Charles Finney,[2] He practiced medicine from the house, using the bottom floor for surgery and examination, and a bedroom as an office. The Finney family lived upstairs until moving out due to a lack of space.[3]
The house was listed on the real estate website Zillow for $1 million in February 2016, dropped to $499,000 in August, and taken off market in November 2017.
The Sallie House is reported to be haunted by the ghost of a young girl who died there. According to the legend, a child named Sallie was brought to Dr. Finney's house by her mother for severe abdominal pain. He thought that she had appendicitis and began emergency surgery, as he believed that Sallie's appendix was about to rupture. However, he cut into her before the anaesthetic took effect, killing her as a result.
Multiple former tenants have alleged paranormal activity there. It has been especially reported by male residents and visitors, some of whom have claimed to have been scratched until they bled, which has led to Sallie being dubbed "The Man Hating Ghost".
In the 1990s, the house was featured on the paranormal investigations television show Sightings. On January 17, 2015, it appeared on an episode of the Travel Channel series Ghost Adventures.
This house is in Atchison Kansas. Stupid spelling error at the beginning.

I actually got to see the places where Timothy McVeigh and Terry Nichols made their preparations, where Terry Nichols lived, the motel McVeigh stayed with the truck. Those names aren't even allowed to be spoken in Junction City and Herington. The people RIGHTLY get angry.
I noticed a lot of lights or light orbs in the doll room. Not sure what to think about that but yeah cool video for sure!

There is no way I would have stayed there especially all alone. You are a brave man! Did you see the small orbs that looked like dust flying in front of the camera. I was getting cold chills just watching you walk through the house. Loved this video! ❤️ Thank you for giving us something spooky 👻!

From the moment you walk into the house you start seeing orbs passing in front of the camera and that's a sign of spirit activity. You're a lot braver than I am my friend!! Stay safe out there! ☺️

One thing about apparitions is, it depends on whether or not you can see them. Everyone cannot see them.. I saw three in my lifetime. The first one didn't scare me, but the second one did because I woke up out of my sleep and he was standing at the end of my bed. The third one didn't scare me because I only saw his head from the neck up. They do exist, only for people who can see them.

O.K. Here's a couple of findings to add to the little girl saying HI @2:48
@2:53 a little girl scream
@2:55 she says 'come here'
@8:07 someone says 'o.k' behind your voice.
@11:59 there's a woman who says 'dear' here CLEAR AS A BELL! The way it's spoken, it sounds more disembodied than recorded. My favourite capture for sure!
I dunno if it's a mans saying 'no' or the door @17:17
Then, under the squeaking door, the woman who said 'dear' earlier, says 'all right' @25:05
The other things I heard needed to be altered. Like slowed down or boosted. I choose to share the clearest, easiest for all to hear clips.
Now, what I seen that was odd was upstairs in the bedroom with the square walk in closet. Have a look in the vanity mirror as you walk in the second time. Watch at exactly 36:00. Something moves quickly. Much faster than you are, or your camera is. I dunno what the mirror was facing, but you do (seems like its kinda on an angle). Other than that, *I wasn't gonna add this and did oNLY because you shared that photo from the sign in book, I figured I would*. Have a look behind the arm of the rocker, when you come out of the 'odd' closet around 14:00. If you stop screen right @14:04, the white shape kinda looks like a kid to me. It's debate-able, but intrigued me none the less. Pretty interesting slowed down I must say. When you consider the photo you shared . . . .really intriguing! Such a shame you lost all that audio Luv. Dammit eh? Super sux. So Sorry about that. It's been known to happen plenty of times in such places. As far as the pumpkin, I dunno if ANY one in that town would consider breaking ANYthing related to THAT house of any! Know what I mean Vern? Plus, didja see the WAY it was broken? Looked like a machete went through it if ya ask me. If it was thrown to the ground and smashed, there shoulda been seeds all over the ground.I looked but didn't see any. How did you find it? On the ground or? Yeah, real shame to lose all that footage but totally enjoyed this vid. Was nice to be able to do what I do on your channel! What a way to start October. Loved this video. It was like watching a much better Paranormal Activity. I keep waiting for a jump scare every time a door/cabinet opened or you looked out a window! Then, you bring the Scott sweetness with the dog & the pumpkin❤. Then I’m ready to fight someone in Kansas for smashing the pumpkin. The house reminds me so much of Tony Sopranos Mom’s house on Sopranos.
Lots of orbs there especially when you were playing with the toy making music. It also seems like they were more upstairs in general.
Theres no way I would have the courage to stay there alone.
I’m able to see things in the spirit world only sometimes. But I can feel them all the time. Especially evil ones. That house is clean. No Sally there. Demons are the only things speaking into those gadgets but to each their own, right.

same here, its creepy but i didnt see or hear anything. am yet to see anything caught on camera by anyone in real, most of the ghost hunters videos are hyped to make you think viewers saw and heard something. its all in green or grainy images of so called apparitions 😅

Scott, just in case you don’t know, the owners of the house that lived there for two years was Tony and Debra Lynn Pickman. I’m actually second cousins with them, and Tony was the one who experienced the majority of the problems of the house.

In 1978, my appendix busted on my birthday in April. I was on life support 2 weeks, and hospitalized 55 days.
The symptoms had started the first day of softball practice. My mother thought I had the flu. I stayed out of school for 3 weeks until my brother convinced my mom that I was dying. I'm your typical Gen Xer. Parents wanted to party, not raise kids. I loved my Mom, but I grew up angry for the neglect. After therapy, I'm happier now.

In the early 90s, my younger sister's appendix was on the verge of busting...she actually flat lined on the operating table. Luckily, we had a mom that wasn't neglectful

This is one of your vidz I missed when it was first posted - I just happened to come across it in my feed yesterday whilst watching some other ghost-hunter channels showcasing the house.
Interestingly, the one channel that introduced me to this house had the five kids in the house hearing someone out on the front porch also - after the front door slammed!!
The case of the family who experienced being scratched - that's demonic. If the alleged ghost of Sallie does haunt the house, I can tell anyone that the scratches won't be her doing. Physical scratches that manifest on human bodies are classically caused my demons. Creepy.

Sightings... There's a blast from the past, used to be on over here in the UK in the early 90s. Tim White was the host if I remember correctly.

After putting the pumpkin outside I would have set up an infrared camera just to see if anybody's playing games...I'm not afraid of anything I would sleep on a cot in the basement all night..I have no fear of anything or anybody alive or dead...😱👻👻👻😱

That was so cool! Thanks for taking us along Scott and kudos to you for spending night alone there...don't think I could have lol. Not sure if it was just dust or flies but when you were looking around upstairs in daylight, I noticed several possible orbs. I'll time stamp them:
13:24, 13:33, 14:04-14:18, 16:32, 16:35 (when you said "Sally"), 16:46, and 16:52-17:04 (several when you were playing keyboard)
Even professional ghost hunters discount orbs. I looked at your stamps...ALL dust. You have to remember in places like that, dust is so prevalent. The orbs that draw attention are ones the move oddly or just look different. All the ones you pointed out, again, were just dust.
I have to disagree with the Ladys response. You caught some orbs, they're not ALL dust balls -regardless what whoever thinks or says. It's obvious YOU have a mind of your own and you use it! Those were some good orbs shootin' around the keyboard when he was playing! 100%. If EVERY orb you noted was a dust ball, we would've seen 'dust' flyin' every time Scott moved! Most know dust naturally rises and falls - unless there's a breeze of some kind, and orbs move in a disorderly fashion and at odd speeds - like most you stamped! The lady even noted orbs move oddly, if she looked at every stamp you listed - she should have seen that for herself as you stamped odd moving, ugh, dustballs! LoL !If you find my post above check out the stamp I left, you'll see an orb that scooted away from Scott and was followed by end trails! Crazy! Sadly, some people are finished learning. They hear or read something and repeat it. Some are done growing and miss out on learning some spectacular stuff!😆 Cheerz!

Some random viewer with zero forensic license thinks you recorded orbs, Jesus. SCOTT, you need to record audio to a recorder and run a camera mic as a backup which also allows for syncing. Redundancy is key.

It's a very creepy house, I definitely could not stay there alone for a whole night. You were very brave! Imagine if you had felt a hand on your shoulder, or if a door had slammed shut once you had entered a room, or if there had been a reflection in the glass door, or if you had been pushed down the stairs. I will say that you are very lucky in my eyes because I was born and raised in Kansas now living in Oklahoma city, I've been trying for years to get up there to spend the night to hopefully capture EVP's and also to feel the spiritual activity in the house. It's on my bucket list so hopefully soon.
