EC Toasted dropped another batch in PA a month or so ago, and it's easy to get at $50 now. I don't hate it at $50, but it is right there with WFDO for me... pricy for a young

Those Woodford Reserve DO store picks vary wide from what I've experienced. I have a store pick that I've tried coming back to a few times, but I prefer my regular WR DO over it every single time. I completely agree about the EC Toasted being over hyped as well. Cool lineup and I like these types of comparisons! There are a lot more toasted and double oak bottles out there so I'd like to see another round!

Nice! When I started my journey I really liked the WR dbl oak and the OF 1910 then I wanted the EC toasted real bad:) six months down the road and I’m not pouring these that often and I prefer OF 1920 over the 1910 and I really enjoy the Sagamore dbl oak and the 2X0 Phoenix!
That's basically how it went for me too. Started with 1910 and moved to 1920. Elijah Craig Toasted is nothing compared to 1920 in my opinion and Sagamore just makes delicious whiskey

it wasn't available at the time but Puruit United double toasted oak taste better in my opinion than these. i had the Barrell Vantage, 2XO Inkeeper, OF 1910, and Sagamore Spirit double oak rye and tried this blind test.

If im not mistaken, toasted and double oaked are different.
I believe toasted barrel products are double oaked but not necessarily vice versa... for instance Woodford DO says "Toasted and charred" for the secondary barrel. 1910 says "Heavy char" on the secondary barrels.

I have another idea for you. We always hear phrases like "best value" in bourbon or this bourbon "punches above its weight", but I have yet to see $30 bottles tested against 40,50,60, 70 etc. so could you please do a video where you pick the top 2-3 from each category and do a true test of value. You can pick the 2-3 from videos you've already done to speed up the process.
It would also be a good idea to challenge the other bourbon tubers to do the same.

My Brother bought me a bottle of Woodford DO from the distillery, it was excellent. Any off the shelf bottles since, have not been as good.

Great video! I don't think that store picks should have been added, however. I think just the regular off-the-shelf versions should have been used to get a true ranking. Maybe remove the store picks and throw in a Peerless Double Oak and maybe a NULU Toasted to take their places.

Im a little confused by this video, considering only 4 of the 10 are toasted bourbons.
All of them are toasted bourbons
@@EverydayDrinker double oaked and toasted dont mean the same thing. Old forester 1910 for example never goes into a secondary toasted barrel. It goes into a secondary light toast very heavily charred barrel. These are very different. Also the sagamore is a rye so thats not a bourbon either way. I mean its still an interesting video, just not an accurate title.
Did not like the 2XO at all, especially for the price. Boutique without the quality! My favorite OF 1910.
