Great reviews!! Agree on the Sag double oak. I'm not a big rye fan but I do love finished ryes and the Sagamore knocks it out of the park. The Nulu was disappointing for me. It was almost too smokey and ashy. Maybe I need to try it again. I'm shocked Woodford double oak is not offered as a cask strength. Their batch proof offerings are amazing so I would imagine the double oak would be excellent. Peerless needs to become more available I hear it's fantastic. And for sure the 1910 is an absolute hitter!!!
Judge, I don’t know how I missed this video until last week. I’m absolutely loving double oaked products and never got the sagamore rye Double Oaked. After seeing this video I picked up a bottle and it’s fantastic! I get a heavy cherry cough drop similar to the ones that are like candy, but it almost goes into a cherry cough syrup. I get oak on the back end, but it’s sweet and savory, not bitter oak. I love this bottle.

Morning Judge, Yes I have all but the Peerless. Just got the Lucky Seven last week while in Denver. I had it Saturday night out by the fire pit it is great stuff.
The only double oak whiskey I've ever tried was the Sagamore Double Oak Rye. I tried it based on your recommendation from a previous video you posted. You're right it is fantastic. In fact it's my go to rye. I also got a bottle of your Woodenville barrel pick also. It's a great pick and I love it . I ain't sharing it with nobody. 💪🏾🥃🥃👍🏾

I've always thought of the terms "Double-Oaked" and "Toasted" to be synonymous. I'm still not sure what the difference is. This is my favorite genre of bourbon, and Woodford Reserve DO is still my favorite, period. That said, I haven't tried or even seen Nulu on the shelf. I tried Penelope Toasted, based on your previous video, and that's a winner too.
Toasted is technically supposed to be a lighter toasted second barrel and the whiskey doesnt sit in it as long. DO is supposed to be the same char level as the original. But its all close.. potatoes po tato

Hi judge loving the content your doing a great job my man . I am currently sipping the trails end 10 yr .got my first bottle of it about a week ago and have to say it's it's pretty good really solid and the price is reasonable paid $51.00 considering it is 10 yrs and 105 pf not bad .
I was able to try that peerless in Kentucky at Jakes Cigar bar and it was all I hoped it would be. Woodford Double oaked is a staple for double oaked enthusiast.
Just found a bottle of Peerless Double-Oak in my Total Wine, and I’m super impressed. It really gives Woodford Reserve DO a run for their money - if not for the fact that it’s $35 more expensive. Peerless DO is like candy - VERY brown sugar flavored. Worth the price for me.
Just wish that Peerless wasn't so pricey, I won't go above $80 for any bourbon, $100 max for scotch. I would be glad to see more top labels do a double oaked variation. Love it lots!
Your missing out on some great finishes and double oaking sub 80. Lucky Seven Holiday Toast comes to mind, some Penelope Toasted comes in exactly at 80, and that Nulu. I understand there are many overpriced products but dont sell yourself short either there is still value out there.
Sagamore for the win. Easily my favorite. Much more depth and complexity than WFDO, probably due to it being a Rye. Haven't had Nulu though. Also, drinking game idea that would get you trashed in 10 min or less: A shot per use of "Bad Boy" by the Judge. No one stands a chance!
