Good reaction. Yes Su-metal's vocals have improved as she has matured, but she was always a powerful vocalist right from the start (her vocal talents are the reason BABYMETAL came into existence in the first place). The more child-like vocals in the early years were Yuimetal and Moametal and I am always surprised that some people couldn't differentiate or only seemed to hear their vocals and not Su's. 'Metal Kingdom' was the intro and opening track on the concept album ('The Other One') they released just before the PIA Arena concerts on 1st and 2nd April 2023. Kobametal, their producer, said something like this is some sort of interim album between the third and fourth albums so we don't really know how their sound will evolve for the next one or how different it will be again. This was filmed on the second night (Clear Night) at the PIA Arena. Momometal had been revealed as the new third member at the end of night one (Black Night), so this was her first song as an official member (she had been supporting Su and Moa as a dancer since 2019) and where only Su and Moa had thrones at the January concerts this time Momometal was up there with them in her own throne for the epic opening number.
Little Queens? Nah, when I first saw this, this gave me Sith Lord/Inquisitor vibes... Darth Sumetal and her two Apprentices 😂😂 .... Those spears reminded me of Neo Genesis... 😁😁😁🤘🦊🤘
Hell yeah dude, amazing anthem. Brace yourself, the Fox God is coming! 🤣 Su's voice has always been amazing. She's absolutely one of my favorite singers of all time and has been incredible even in her younger years. 🤘🦊
Nice one, thanks! "METAL KINGDOM" is the anthemic opening of their latest album, The Other ONE. And this is how they opened their concert BABYMETAL BEGINS - The Other ONE - Clear Night. This was Momometal's very first song as a full fledged member after being an Avenger (backup dancer) since 2019. I'm super fan of the last verse with Su-metal's vocals over the chants and the instrumental accents. It just blows my mind. Here is my suggestion: "Mirror Mirror" (Live at PIA Arena 2023): th-cam.com/video/DrNfDkP_Buk/w-d-xo.html 🤘🦊
As mentioned by Grington300 300, Su has always had powerful vocals. yes, her vocals have improved, but even at a young age, her vocals give me goosebumps, and she drew me to BabyMetal, and I become a fan. Everything else was icing on the cake . try Akatsuki live Black Night at the Budokan 😁🤘🏼🦊🤘🏼
👍👍Epic performance. I particularly like this because Su's voice is so powerful. 🦊 🖖❤ BABYMETAL - BxMxC【Live Blu-ray/DVD「BABYMETAL WORLD TOUR 2023 - 2024 LEGEND - MM」】
I mentioned this on the main video for Metal Kingdom,. Maybe everyone knew this already but I just realized it like a week or two ago. At 5:30 in your video, when the drone pans around Su when she is standing over the crowd you see that PIA Arena floor is setup in army parades and the Su is rallying the troops for battle. The crowd is part of the show without them even knowing it necessarily. Just everything they do is with purpose and is designed to accent the show. Whoever runs their production for their Japan shows are ridiculously talented and create an experience like no other.
Yes, those s are drones. In fact, on any of the live performances you'll see drones flying around the stage, and the awesome shots they're capable of. You'll also see mechanized camera booms in use.
Seems like you focus on Japanese rock/metal, but have you heard of Wagakki Band? If not, then you should. 😉Rock/metal doesn't get more Japanese than that, because they blend it with traditional instruments. They are also one of the big bands and have been together for 11 years but after this year they are taking a break. Possibly due to two of them having a child recently. I suggest a song called "Tengaku" (Music of Heaven) live in 2018: th-cam.com/video/kSJNMQrrgvo/w-d-xo.html Also, since you pay attention to vocal techniques, you might appreciate Yuko's self-developed technique in which she mixes contemporary singing with traditional Shigin. They have a lot of variety in their songs, in which some lean more traditional and others more modern.

This is an amazing song! One of my favorites. (To be honest, their entire repertoire is my favorite. It's like an addiction)

the best vocalist in the world
If you like groove, check their song babymetal-kagerou or Babymetal-BxMxC 🔥
Dont know what you mean...She never sounded like that...Even when she was 6 years old...
I did a horrible job imitating her younger voice. Please ignore it lol 😆
