Fire/Ground is bad unless your name is Primal Groudon and you can just evaporate water attacks
It also helps a ton that it has amazing stats and a wide movepool to work with

True. Same for if they introduce tri-type combos eventually, if the Pokemon Company wants to go in that direction, which I actually hope it happens, especially that will give Charizard some justice by giving it the Dragon-Type alongside with its pre-exisiting Fire/Flying-Type.

Pokémon like aggron & rhyperior would be so good if it didn’t have the rock typing if it had the ground type
Yeah I feel like Aggron would've been better off as pure Steel.
Or even better combine the Rock and Ground-Type and turn it into the Earth-Type. These Pokemon would be improved significantly, same for those like Carbink, Diancie (even though the first two have one of the better Rock-Type combinations being Rock/Fairy-Type), Carracosta, Aurous and Crustle.
If your Pokémon's dual type makes it quad~weak but the Mon is hella slow, that is a recipe for disaster.
Camerupt, both forms of Avalugg, Wo-Chien, Calyrex~Base, Okidogi, Tapu Bulu, I could go on.
Vanilla Avalugg from Pokémon X and Y is pure Ice. It's only the Hisuian variant from Legends Arceus that has a double typing.
To be fair, Swampert isn't exactly a speed demon with a middling speed of 60, but it has strong enough defenses to still be viable in a playthrough.
You need either high speed or decent bulk to overcome a 4X weakness.

Adding rock typing must have been some kind of sick joke by gamefreak, no amount of defenses could ever make that typing good.
I don’t really do competitive so this was a very interesting watch for me, and hope I get to see more like it in the future!
At times I do things competitively. That is because I know Nature includes preferred flavors. Mints have no effect on the preferred flavors. At least that way the Pokémon can hold different Kinomi.
Surprising that Magcargo isn't here because that's one of the first who come to mind. 2 4x weaknesses to commonly used types in Ground and Water

Swanna is actually pretty decent for most playthroughs. just like the elemental monkeys, it got neat attacks and speed that can serve you right until the end, while its HP and defeneses suffice
bro didn't even elaborate on Camerupt or Noctowl like they're so bad that knowing they're bad it's all you need, like not even proof needed like with the others 😭
Certain typings for Pokemon make them very unviable especially compared to other Pokemon with the same type. Why use Swanna when Gyarados exists?

iron bundle is the best response to delibirds crimes for 20 years
Carbink should be a dishonorable mention. It's in ZU. Sure, it has good bulk with 150 Def and Sp. Def, but every other stat is just 50. Also, it's meant to be to be a support mon, but most of its moves are attacks.
Swanna,Dedenne, and Flapple need new evolutions.

Aggron is my favorite Pokémon, and i was fully expecting it on the list. Slow, low Special Def, and a type combo that results double weaknesses to both Fighting and Ground, which badly undermines its good physical bulk.
Mystic Umbreon clearly stated that he is ONLY mentioning Pokémon who are available in the current generation. Aggron, unfortunately, is NOT in Gen 9
Yaaaa even though rocky arcanine has a great ability, I sometimes choose the original arcanine just so that it's less likely to go comatose from being hit by a single speck of mud.

Camerupt is basically worse Seviper, especially since Seviper outspeeds by a lot and has good coverage
Another day of me asking you to make a best team for each of the non gen 9 starters in Scarlet and Violet, trying not to use repeats so they can feel unique, I feel they deserve some love and it would be nice to see how well they'd do as the starter in gen 9.
noctowl is pretty solid in pokemon go, maybe some pokemon go lists? that could be cool
Is fire ground bad typing? It only has 2 weakness. Fire wise it alrdy worries on ground and water anyway.

Problem with noctowl is it mediocre special attack and defense,like it's extrmely hard to set up calm mind against phisical attackers and even if you do he is way too slow to use air slash or psychic
H. Avalugg has alot of spice in Po-Go.
I think avalugg is probably too good for this list. the fact that it's a spinner and a physical wall with recover even with it's bad typing makes it way more useful than the rest of these mons.

I was expecting to see Parasect on this list. It has very bad stats and a bad dual typing of grass and bug, which has two x4 times weaknesses.
Cacturne was the first mon that came to mind when I read the title. Too slow, frail, & not great abilities. Great attacking stats but won't get to use them because what I mentioned earlier. GameFreak screw it from the very beginning.
What's going on with Delibird is that it wasn't Meant as a Playable Pokemon, it was meant as a Holiday Gimmick Pokemon >.>
Basically if slow and a dual weakness it sucks. Maybe speed should just not exist 😅 and just randomise who first
I wouldn’t be surprised if Frosmoth makes it onto this list. Since it’s typing makes have a 4x weakness to both Fire & Rock type Pokémon.

The only ones I find to be any good in the first place is the Leavanny line. The rest are garbage.

Steel/rock Pokemon are terrible due to their many weaknesses and bad offensive prowess.
Rock/ground is another terrible typing, basically almost anything that is combined with rock becomes bad except maybe grass or bug
Rock/Fairy-Type and Rock/Flying-Type are the only other Rock-Type combos that are at least better than the rest. At this rate, they should just combo them with the Ground-Type and make them the Earth-Type. And also, be sure to let Carbink and Diancie join the party even though they're based on gemstones.
Before I watch this video I want to make a prediction for the top 10
Fire/Ground
Steel/Dark
Dragon/flying
Steel/Ground
Rock/Steel
Bug/Steel
Electric/Steel
Fighting/Steel
Ghost/Poison
Just because it has a 4x weakness, doesn’t automatically make it bad (Dragonite/Salamence, Scizor, and Bisharp/Kingambit, and to an lesser extent Magnezone), you could go much worse than these dual-typings, plus Bug/Steel only has 1 weakness
Can’t say the same for Rock/Steel and Fire/Ground tho (especially the latter)

How could you not at least have a dishonorable mention for hisuian growlithe line 4x weak to ground and water or shadow rider calyrex or dawn wings necrozma which both have 4x weakness to dark and ghost type
Calyrex shadow rider is one of the strongest pokemon of all time tho. And H arcanine isnt that bad, its better in vgc.
Hoopa Confined as well with 4x weakness to Ghost and Dark-Types, which makes no sense whatsoever. Psychic should have been immune to Ghost-Types like back in Gen 1 and Ghost and Dark-Types should be able to resist each other.
Yeah, even I’ve gotta admit Camerupt is a little meh. 😒
Hisuian Avalugg loses 10 Sp.Def to gain 10 Speed. What utter garbage. Kalosian Avalugg's Sp.Def is horrible enough as is, no need to lower it even further. Especially to boost its equally horrid speed. At least it has a wide variety of biting moves for Strong Jaw. Bite, Crunch and Ice Fang. It's overflowing with options.

i love how going from 120 speed to 110 speed automatically make Alolan Dugtrio bad. because we all know how much Mystic hates pokemon that arent the fastest things in the universe.
He said that the issue is that they put that 10 points into a defensive stat, which was pointless since both defensive stats and HP are very low.
At least put the 10 points into attack.

Mmmmm kinda. 90% of pokemon have a place in some generations tier. Like sharpedos best showing is gen 3 UU, scizor had gen 4 OU, etc etc. Most pokemon are unusable competitive wise. No matter how skilled you are, youre not gonna be winning games with levanny or magcargo.
Weezing is not a bad pokemon
Especially not the Galar variant.
