Jenn really should’ve kept Jonathon 😭 imo they had the most potential for growing into their love together equally (like in a real life relationship) and not having this weird imbalance where one person is chasing the other’s affection. Also he’s the least problematic, seems super sweet, and he’s actually attractive
Jonathan does seem like a great match. The last two have trauma (including Jen) and it can really be a lifelong struggle in a relationship. Not that it couldn’t work but that it will take a lot of work individually and as a couple. I know first hand.

I’ve been calling it all season! I dated someone like Jenn for a while. Jenn is just like my ex and everybody has been taking shots at me about it, but it’s true, she just can’t bring herself to be in a normal relationship with a normal guy. I said she’d pick Devin all along but he has not been playing this right the last couple of weeks. The emotions, the honesty, the asking for reassurance, telling her you love her. All of this is just gonna give her the ick. Did he not just watch 20+ men fall on their faces, make fools of themselves, and get sent home for the same things. This is just painful to watch at this point because Devon had it in the bag until he fumbled it by acting like every other guy she’s kicked to the curb in her life.
Maybe instead of staying single, the big "no bachelorette has ever done this before" is Jenn bringing Jonathan back and not proposing to him, but saying she had an epiphany and realized the slow burn is healthier so she wants to date him.
I'm glad this proves one thing I felt all along, that BiP wasn't cancelled, it was just 'resting'. With guys like Hakeem coming to the beach, I'm already excited!
What I expect to happen: Jenn proposes to Devin, showing growth in her ability to choose a healthy relationship and to use her words to express exactly what she’s feeling to the person who has been doing that all along. Her proposing will be the « this has never happened on the bachelorette » event.
also I feel like Jenn struggles with verbally expressing herself so she ends up saying more generic stuff about all of the guys and maybe she's stuck in a cycle of usually putting in more herself and having a guy choose her after proving herself to him rather than choose the guy who is all in on her. it makes me sad and I hope she picks the man that loves her and she loves back

I remember a scene earlier on when Devin told Jenn that if anybody scary approached, for her to get behind him and he'd take it on the chin for her. He showed classic protectiveness. Chivalry lives, and he's be out there with 100% the whole time. I wonder if maybe Jenn is just someone who always wants what she can't have.
I feel like Jen only told Devin that she loves him just to keep him around as an option. She just doesn't seem that interested in him anymore. The fact that she's so invested with Marcus when he keeps telling her that he's not there yet, shows me that Jen is bad at decision making. I think Marcus seems like a nice guy, but not the one for her.
@@ashley48523 Yep, Devin offered himself up, on a silver platter. The ‘thrill of the chase’ is gone. And Jenn is chasing the emotionally-unavailable man, offering herself up, on a silver platter…
So. It was wrong for Sam to pressure Jenn regarding her fear of heights but it was okay for production to trot out a massive spider when Hakeem is terrified. Your gender inequality is showing, ABC!!
Not her saying “blue like your eyes” when he doesn’t have blue eyes. 💀 He’s got Amazing brown eyes and I feel sorry that it looks like she isn’t mutual about how he feels.
I'm not gonna lie... I legit cried art the moment in the title! That was SO FUCKING CUTE! I've been rooting for Devin since day 1! He's so charismatic! I'm so happy for him and Jenn!
I don’t think that Jenn is ready to love and be loved. She still has a lot of personal work to do on herself and I feel like she is looking for “project guys” to throw herself into instead of choosing herself first. While I really like Marcus, he straight out told Jenn that he didn’t love her and then she tells him that she loves him. I would have been walking him out. What is a week or a few more days going to do to get him there. This is a sped up process for a reason and if he’s not there then he’s not there. With Devin I think she is choosing him as the safe bet and he deserves so much more than that. I always felt like Devin was the most genuine from the beginning of the show and his character never changed. I really hope he is picked but if not he will have no problem finding the one because anyone would be lucky to find a man like Devin. Yes, if you can’t tell I really like Devin. 😍😍
I agree, but I don't want Devin there in the end. I feel like he need's to walk out by his own decision and find someone who is actually completely into him. Remember when Greg left Katie's season when she wasn't giving him what him needed? Devin should do the same.
Marcus not knowing by this point how he feels is crazy!!! Crazy, is how she is in love with the man that don't love her. Chile, let's wrap this season up asap. If I was Deven, I would leave. That I love you felt forced. I don't like it.
How have conversations surrounding Jenn being a student and how her fiancé will have to relocate to where she attends school not been aired!? I want to see the real life conversations. Do they want to move in together? Do any contestants still live with their parents? Are any of them homeowners or have jobs that are not flexible that could affect their ability to relocate?
A perfect marriage or relationship is an illusion; there's no universal playbook for making them work. What's effective for one couple may not apply to another. Nevertheless, I've come to understand that there's always a solution to be found. Half a decade ago, my wife and I faced such trials in our marriage that divorce seemed inevitable. Yet, through perseverance and determination, we navigated through the rough waters and emerged stronger, reunited, and more resilient
Its always difficult to let someone you love go, but in my case I had the help of a spiritual adviser who saved my marriage from collapsing her name is shelly renee white..
I hope Marcus goes to therapy and can heal his heart. He has been through so much! I adopted my daughter from foster care, and her walls are hundreds of feet high. She even has a hard time letting us in. I know where Marcus is coming from. He deserves real love. ❤
Agreed. She openly was proclaiming love for Marcus. Devin cornered her and she didn’t know what else to say. So she resorted to I love you. She is guilty of the exact same thing she is so mad at Sam N for doing.
@@angelat1839 I agree. Devin should do what she did to Sam and ask why she loves him. Totally legitimate question when she asked Sam, and it would be just as legitimate if Devin asked her the same.
I thought the point of the bachelorette was these guys were ready for marriage yet none of them seemed interested in marriage or opening their feelings
Jenn’s comment about blue eyes was disappointing and now I don’t like her as much and she has been one of my favs as a bachelorette. The comment is similar to calling your BF a different name. It’s shallow that she didn’t even know that his eyes were not in the blue. I can see why Devin was doubting her feelings towards him. Don’t like that she called him an idiot. I haven’t seen the show yet so maybe I will change my mind after seeing more context. Devin deserves better.
Lol yeah, I didn't know how to read that comment. Like did she not actually know his eyes weren't blue or was that like her saying "you're as sweet as a lemon" knowing a lemon is sour? Like was she comparing his eyes to the land maybe, which is more brown?
The weirdness that I’m having with Jen is mostly that it just feels like she keeps trying to talk herself into being in love with Devon knowing that she’s not. I kind of feel like she loves a wounded man because Marcus, she’s so patient and gives him the L word and really just wants Him to reciprocate those feelings for her meanwhile Devon is literally telling her I am insecure and I need validation and that’s like what sparks her to say that she loves him which to me also feels like she was put in a corner and said it, and then liked the reaction . I just really feel like she’s trying to convince herself to have feelings that she just doesn’t really have or at least doesn’t have them in the same way.
She said ily to Marcus before their overnight and this is a man who has given her zero affirmation of his love for her. On Devin’s overnight date she expressed she “wasn’t there” yet, so what changed? Sex? No. He played a victim complex and Jenn eats that up so she drops the ily bc she sees a wounded pigeon and can’t help it. It’s quite interesting to watch.
I say this every season, but I can’t believe poor Clayton got sooo much shit for saying I love you to three women and now every contestant after does the same thing and no one cares? I mean I get he also disclosed he was intimate with them also, but still.
It was kinda embarrassing that they tried to do the whole emotional intelligence book thing with aaron. At least with Noah and Bennett they had had it built up a bit, and Noah was kinda relevant in Tayshia's season. Aaron just looks like a fool. I also wonder if they had given Jenn more time, if she would have been able to pick from other guys because getting rid of so many guys so quickly lead her to go with her gut, which clearly needs to be checked out. After Marcus said he didn't love her, she should've sent him home. He's not getting there, babe.
One of the most enjoyable MTA imo the problematic people were called out seeing thomas cringe at his old behavior was great sam being collectively roaster was amazing noah shutting down Aaron was perfect. Loved seeing him get knocked back by the guys for going after spencer. Hakeem calling out sam's behavior was magnificent!😂 I think Jonathan deserves better than paradise.
I have to admit this was an enjoyable men-tell-all. The drama was palpable and most times pretty funny. I loved when there’s a common enemy. I wish Aaron would’ve been called out more though, I hope he doesn’t end up on the beach at all. Totally agree with you that Hakeem is our marker of the truth, he has no reason to lie, I’m believing him on everything he said here. Him and Jonathon are a great start to the paradise lineup, I’m also hoping for Spencer, Brett and Jeremy.
Marcus was just not there, and all of us including Jen could see he probably was not going to get there in a week. Jonathan was on his way. In the real world, in a real situation he would be ready to propose in maybe a year. Devin was there READY. He also was without saying it, threatening to leave if he did not get SOME solid reassurance. In my opinion, Jen saw herself at the end with no one. I do believe at that point she cared a lot for Devin...behind the Ranger and maybe even behind Jonathan, but she cared enough to go with what she had! Shades of Bachelorette Desiree' who did not get her first choice, married the 2nd choice, and now has 2 little boys.

I still think Devon needs to cut back on his 🍸 🍺 🍷 he even told Jenn can't wait to take her to a bar 😂
I feel like Jen only told Devin that she loves him just to keep him around as an option. She just doesn't seem that interested in him anymore. The fact that she's so invested with Marcus when he keeps telling her that he's not there yet, shows me that Jen is bad at decision making. I think Marcus seems like a nice guy, but not the one for her.
yup...Jenn's been dialing it in the whole season. She was just a default producer option after Daisy and Maria bowed out.
@@ashley48523 Google him. He may not be as nice as he seems.
@@maester7778 it's really sad to me that the guys all went in assuming it would be Daisy or Maria. Jenn was in a bad position from the start.
@@Stormy575 ive been thinking that the whole season and feeling sad for her, she probably felt like the last option
@@ashley48523 Yep, Devin offered himself up, on a silver platter.
The ‘thrill of the chase’ is gone.
And Jenn is chasing the emotionally-unavailable man,
offering herself up, on a silver platter…
Im glad they did a recap of grant because I've already forgotton his screentime on the season.
Jennifer - you should’ve turned down the show until you did self work. This is a hard watch. Did she just give Devin a pity “I love you”
Yes. He is going to feel so hurt watching this back 😢
So. It was wrong for Sam to pressure Jenn regarding her fear of heights but it was okay for production to trot out a massive spider when Hakeem is terrified. Your gender inequality is showing, ABC!!
Not her saying “blue like your eyes” when he doesn’t have blue eyes. 💀
He’s got Amazing brown eyes and I feel sorry that it looks like she isn’t mutual about how he feels.
They have like a Carmel/honey brown color to me - so pretty!
It was weird she said that. Imagine a guy saying the same to her. Sounds like she had wishful thinking expressed out loud
I think Jenn loves the guy she needs to prove herself and work on rather than the guy who is all in on her
I’ve been looking forward all day to your reactions about Hakeem
😂 you delivered!
The Bet On It reference was incredible
I'm not gonna lie... I legit cried art the moment in the title! That was SO FUCKING CUTE! I've been rooting for Devin since day 1! He's so charismatic! I'm so happy for him and Jenn!
I can’t help but feel like Jenn told Devin she loves him as a way to keep him there from her fear of not being enough for the guys
HAKEEM WAS THE HIGHLIGHT OF THIS EPISODE AND I'M HERE FOR IT
I don’t think that Jenn is ready to love and be loved.
Not the pearls!!! 😂😂
Noah had some on too... Guess it's a twin thing 😂
The Mantaray talk!!!! @ 6:03 LOL!!!!
I love it when u post
Marcus not knowing by this point how he feels is crazy!!! Crazy, is how she is in love with the man that don't love her. Chile, let's wrap this season up asap. If I was Deven, I would leave. That I love you felt forced. I don't like it.
Reeks of Rebound. If Marcus had said I love you too she would have cut Devin that same night
100% the "I love you" to Devin was just to get him to quit crying and keep him chasing her.
She obviously has love for Devin, but idk if she knows herself well enough to know she’s not in love with him
How have conversations surrounding Jenn being a student and how her fiancé will have to relocate to where she attends school not been aired!? I want to see the real life conversations. Do they want to move in together? Do any contestants still live with their parents? Are any of them homeowners or have jobs that are not flexible that could affect their ability to relocate?
Yes! That was what I enjoyed most about Rachel Lindsey’s season, that she was focused on the realities of being together
Not the High school musical shot 😂 that was beautiful.
the manta ray had me dying 🤣.
Just gotta say that *Bachelor Fantake* is a real one 💯 always keepin the main thing the main thing. Respect 🙏.
Devin has to beg for Jenn to say she loves him. Ridiculous.
You wont regret it
Is anyone gonna address the SA allegations against Marcus?!
Huh? Really?
Mannnnn…I know he’s have to had seen them.
Right?? I was surprised/disappointed that the show didn’t say something
This is the most interesting, hilarious, clever content on TH-cam.
I hope Marcus goes to therapy and can heal his heart. He has been through so much! I adopted my daughter from foster care, and her walls are hundreds of feet high. She even has a hard time letting us in. I know where Marcus is coming from. He deserves real love. ❤
Jen does not love Devin…she needed to save her season and say it
Agreed. She openly was proclaiming love for Marcus. Devin cornered her and she didn’t know what else to say. So she resorted to I love you. She is guilty of the exact same thing she is so mad at Sam N for doing.
Dang, that's a bold take. I'll take it with me for the next episode.
@@angelat1839 I agree. Devin should do what she did to Sam and ask why she loves him.
Totally legitimate question when she asked Sam, and it would be just as legitimate if Devin asked her the same.
He wouldn’t though. He wanted so badly to hear that reassurance from her
Yes I think she knew Devin would’ve left if she didn’t say it
I thought the point of the bachelorette was these guys were ready for marriage yet none of them seemed interested in marriage or opening their feelings
Hakeem is gonna be fun to watch on Paradise!😂😂😂 I laughed so hard when he came into the mansion with those dang balloons 😂😂😂😂
Devin deserves better.
the blue eye comment was crazy
Maybe it was an inside joke with them.
Lol yeah, I didn't know how to read that comment. Like did she not actually know his eyes weren't blue or was that like her saying "you're as sweet as a lemon" knowing a lemon is sour? Like was she comparing his eyes to the land maybe, which is more brown?
Devon not feeling sad makes me so sad!! He deserves better..
Devin has to feel like a backup quarterback. 😮
I love this channel, thank you so much :)
I was listening to the Morman Show commercial mostly and didn't see his reaction. Thats hilarious!
Tarantula thing seemed cruel. Fire the person who made that happen.
Didn’t like that either. I don’t know why Hakeem accepted. Pressure I guess.
Completely agree!! Despicable to subject that genuinely sweet man to his terror of spiders! As an arachnophobe I can completely relate!
Thanks so much for all the laughs- only one more left I am going to miss your recaps….but not to long before the golden bachelorette 😂
And Paradise, and Grant’s season! There’s so much coming soon.
Check out Jesse's side eye at Sam M. at 12:06!
I saw it too! It was like the Frye meme! LOL!!
bachelor franchise owes hakeem a fat check because no way. i feel sorry he had to do that
The weirdness that I’m having with Jen is mostly that it just feels like she keeps trying to talk herself into being in love with Devon knowing that she’s not.
💯 good assessment
THE BET ON IT CLIP GOT ME😂
Jenn's judgement, in choosing men, is even worse than Hannah Brown's.
I wouldn’t say it’s worse yet lol
One of the most enjoyable MTA imo the problematic people were called out seeing thomas cringe at his old behavior was great sam being collectively roaster was amazing noah shutting down Aaron was perfect. Loved seeing him get knocked back by the guys for going after spencer. Hakeem calling out sam's behavior was magnificent!😂
I think Jonathan deserves better than paradise.
I hope to see Hakeem fall in love in paradise.
14:43 Hakeem's face here should be the new "oof!" meme 😂😂😂
Bachelor Fantake, I love your recaps better than the actual shows!! 💕🌹👍👏
I love your Simpsons’ edits, that Ralph heartbreak clip was absolutely diabolical 👏🏼
Great recap! Thanks so much for all you do! 💜
Super well done recap!!! Quality
Wow, you really knocked this one out of the park! 😂
I am extatic that Hakeem will be in Paradise!!! I love Hakeem 🤩🎈🎈🎈
Except Devin was all fake
Devin deserves better. Sorry Jen. She loves broken unavailable men. She’s not ready
