@@bettercallmecringe5524 I remember the older storymode, where it actually had storytelling, survival mode is just the rake with freemodels and a chainsaw man chasing you. not only that, the storymode that was well built was replaced by a vague, very lazy story which didn't tell anything at all, it just said "lol guy with chainsaw kill you" the previous old one had a whole storyline linking and everything, having papers and documents explaining what was happening/prior to the incident happening.

The owner specifically said that the bug where he walks back & forth from your machete was a ROBLOX pathfinding issue with boundary boxes or whatever complication roblox has on pathfinding on a regular. I doubt you even played the slightest of the game or even did any research to consider what the developers actually say or respond to. Nobody insulted you, you're just extremely upset and you should stop spreading misinformation. (The owner is a female, guarantee you would've noticed if you had like 2 or more messages of conversations with her.) The old storyline was hot garbage, none of it made sense & I'm glad it's being remade. There were only 3 whole papers in the game that explained absolutely nothing, and didn't even explain how the killer originated or where it came from. It was extremely buggy, messy and just a hot mess that the developers didn't like themselves. The developers also mentioned that everything they made for CHAIN was just to test their skills back in 2019-2022 (The old storyline was also a draft/prototype build), then they took game development seriously in like late 2023 on the game. Chapter 2 is anticipated to be a 1 or 2 hours depending on how the player chooses to play the game, which I'm excited for. Stop being such a let down & give the developers a chance! They worked on SURVIVAL because of their plans on heading to the airforce which meant they wouldn't be able to finish chapter 2 in time. Everybody learns from their mistakes (Take a look at BREADIAN's roblox video that criticizes the old storyline). We'll just have to hope that Chapter 2 gets more developers to speed up the process of development. I would assume it isn't easy to find developers considering the quality of the game. EDIT: The fact that you also mentioned free models when SURVIVAL took 5-6 months to make is actually unbelievable. Stop spreading misinformation ^
