I was appointed to NAPS. With good Academic standing there I will be in graduating class of 2029.

I have been looking into active duty to Naval Academy Route. The job I want has a 6 year contract, would I be able to transfer before my contract is over? I am 18 now, and would be 24 at the end of my contract. the Academy has a cut off at 23. I have a 3.97 GPA and have taken the most difficult classes as I can.

Why not apply to the academy directly? No one can really stop you from applying while enlisted, and if you get accepted you'll be able to transfer 9.9/10 times. Just don't make enemies. lol
