My father went to Culver Military Academy and had to have
his State senator write a letter of recommendation and had to have an interview for the Class of 42.
    They went straight to WW2
    He was Intercollegiate Saber Champion

I’ve found this video very useful since I have an interview coming up for a nomination to the Military Academy. I have a Letter of Assurance but I’m still focused on doing extremely well in my interview. Go Army! Beat Navy!

Great video! Do you happen to have pointers or much in regards to fleet returnee applicants? Do you think grades made in college would outweight prior highschool grades and with a level of college completes, would NAPS be considered?

If a candidate is in the Sea Cadets should they wear their uniform to the interview or just their own suit?

What are some things I can do as a sophomore in high school to benefit my application when I eventually apply to the service academies?

Ethan Wolfe as a senior now lol, I can definitely say take rigorous classes, but don’t overburden yourself to where it will lower your GPA, take the A in an honors rather than a C in AP, I also suggest joining clubs like NHS, Key club, student government, etc. involve yourself in local communities, volunteer for different nonprofits, and lastly I suggest being involved in an extracurricular and sport. As an example i am the lead trumpet of my schools band and I also am on the varsity diving team

Great video! I am a sophomore in high school and I am very exited to apply to the Naval Academy. I am in an extremely competitive district, in the suburbs of DC. Can I request a nomination from the Vice President? And if so, how does that process work? Thanks!

I am glad that you enjoyed the video. There are requirements to apply for a vice presidential nomination. Check the application website for the details. If memory serves, one has to be the child of a serving or retired military member.
