- Mal was ganz anderes, die Youngtimer Touring Car Challenge, hier zu sehen beim Bosch Hockenheim Historic Grand Prix 2021. Die Rennserie zeigt wirklich interessante Fahrzeuge. Es kämpfen Amerikanische Muscle Cars wie Dodge Challenger oder AC Cobra gegen BMW M 1, Porsche und Co. Im weiteren Starterfeld sieht man auch sehr schöne Gruppe H Autos wie VW Golf 1, BMW 2002 oder Ford Escort RS. Wer am Ende im Kampf die Nase ganz vorn hat seht ihr im Video, viel Spaß dabei…..

70s Corvette, Cobra, 911s, normal, then add 3 BMW M1s, a Barracuda and a Challenger, BMW 2002, Escort Mk1, a 190e and an Alpine, and that's gotta be the only time that specific mix of racecars are on the track. Love it.

Bombers on track the Plymouth and the Dodge !! And a special taste of the 80's with the Golf mK1 and the Mercedes SLC...Can say that all those cars are one of my best choice: touring cars prepared for racing !!

Just so rare to see a ‘Cuda in videos…1st time for me. I dang near bought a used 1 back in 1980, but my Dad stopped it. Ended up w/a 78 Trans Am a few months later…lol

A Truly AMAZING Parade of Beautiful , and EXOTIC AF in some cases ,Antiques . I notice everyone was Racing " Politely " . No Elbows to the Face .
No-one wants to damage THESE Cars . Some of them , No Parts Available .
No Huge surprise the a Cobra with a Aero Kit was the fastest thing out there . A Shame the Barracuda blew up . The Challenger was Ridiculously Sexy .

Loved the Barracuda, 280 and the M1's!
Lots of American stuff out there, I believe there was a 70's Chevy Monza but very modded. Same with the Vette. Loved the Barracuda the most though. Also cool to see VW econo cars out there modded to the gills. Excellent footage.

Das nenne ich mal echten Sound,mit Fehlzündungen, mit Ansaugröhren,mit lautem "bellen" herrlich,um Welten schöner ,echter als die modernen Autos mit ihrem Künstlichen Synthetischen Sounds! Die guten alten Wagen lassen sich schon durch ihren eigenen Sound zuordnen,was bei den modernen Fahrzeugen kaum mehr gelingt! Das ist Musik in den Ohren echter Auto Freaks!!😉

Haha, da ist einiges dabei, was es auf gerader Strecke mit heutigen Formel 1 Boliden aufnehmen könnte, zumindest bei den Amis. Technik aus Mitte der 50er mit 4 stelligen PS Zahlen :D
Fahrwerkstechnik war in den 70ern oftmals besser als bei unseren Autos in den 2020er 🙂

That car up front with the big rear wing seemed to have an unfair advantage.
Shelby cobra needs that wing otherwise it’s extremely hard to keep straight. Without that wing it like driving in snow even on dry tarmac.

It warmed my heart to watch that race, at least until Urs spun out & DNFd. As an ex-SCCA & BMW CCA road racer, it was nice to see three cars I have owned for 50 years doing what they do best. I have a 64 Austin Cooper S, a 68 Barracuda 340 S & a BMW 2002. Stopped racing in 2000, still miss it. Thanks for sharing.
