Best part about Jan Valentine is the abridged didn't change his personality.

He was also pretty much the same in the regular Hellsing as well, in fact in that version of the anime the first time you see the Valentine brothers they're in a strip club. He stayed virtually untouched as far as appearance and personality, Luke was slightly altered as far as making him a bit more mature but even then that wasn't a big change.

Back when this came out, 70" plasma TVs were really expensive. Having a TV with Netflix built-in was a novelty, and 3D was still a thing in home theater.

And Odin was very much a war god in the flashback or Thor 3.

The Hellsing abridge series was written by Takahata101 of TeamFourStar. You might know him better as Nappa in Dragon Ball Z Abridged. Hope you guys also give a watch to Final Fantasy 7 Machinima abridged, another TFS project, some time as well. They even got the actual voice actor for Deku from My Hero Academia to play the main character.

Jan Valentine was pretty much peak shock factor adult humor. If you can stand him the rest of the series is still adult but not quite as cringy.

@@olegwalker9465 Not to be a dick but probably because a lot of stuff either flies over their head or they talk over. I can already see the jokes they won't get in this series, for example, I'd bet dollars to donuts they won't get the Archduke Ferdinand joke.
@@ragnar97 to be fair I've seen a lot of people who had that one pass over their heads, I think it's more of a history class thing. I took AP European History in highschool and compared to that the 5 minutes we spent on the Archduke in regular history that was a forever long segment. If not for APEH I probably wouldn't remember him or have gotten the joke.

House Garrett oh yeah. At one point in the original he’s seen mowing down hellsing’s guards while reciting the Konami Code, then commenting something along the lines of “i’m hard as a rock right now” 😂 the dude is insane

I watched these all as they came out, it was almost a 10 year project. If you finish the series they do it so much justice while also keeping it funny.

Just a suggestion ehen you both are talking stop the video you always miss things and talk over the audio when you do it
I like how the SpazzBoys channel does it. Whenever they start laughing uncontrollably (typical for TFS's stuff), or they need to discuss something going on, they pause it, then rewind and rewatch the last few seconds to ensure they don't miss anything.
