    nicely done Bobber, gave me some ideas for my project. Those megaphone slip-ons sure sound nice, love the dished tank and the drag bars. Great job!

    I sold this bike over a year ago so I'm not driving her anymore. Carbs are original Mikuni Flatsides. Thanks for the kudos.

    Thanks weaselbeak. They are very inexpensive 12" Shorty Megaphone Mufflers that come with removable baffles which easily fit the stock head pipes. You can get them almost anywhere, including mikesxs.net
    I sold my xs bobber about four months ago, alas.

    Nice video, would of wished you filmed everything slower so we could appreciate the work you did, great bike

      Thanks, Mike, but you know how it is. Only way to really appreciate another's ride is on one knee, with a brew in your hand, as the owner talks your ear off.

      adudefromhouston haha hell yeah! Got a brew in my hand right now! haha, yeah man nice bike the tank is sick and those forward foot pegs look sick, you should get someone to film you riding it away! that would be dope...oh wait you sold it already right?

      Mikephotography88 Yep, sold off a long time back. No regrets. My old back just doesn't appreciate a hard tail on the screwed up Houston streets.

      The lines of the bike flow quite nicely it shows you put a lot of thought into it. Smoothest running bike 650 I have heard in a long time also - Bravo 👏

    I am looking to get this tank for a build. Who makes this tank? Where can I get one?

    • @gregleroy8917
      @gregleroy8917 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      This tank is custom made, with the sides pounded in. There are people who can make them and perhaps by now even a manufacturer has come up with a mass produced one, but if so I'm not aware of it.

      Can’t remember where I got them and the risers - believe it was a swap meet.

    I live in New York and the one I have has a title. Am I able to register at once all the work is done and hardtail or do I have to get a different type of title since it's custom?

    • @gregleroy8917
      @gregleroy8917 7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      If you maintain the stock neck with serial#, you should have no problem with the existing title. At least not in Texas. No idea about NY rules.

    What is that hose on gas tank for?

    • @gregleroy8917
      @gregleroy8917 9 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      +Yao Guai It is a sight gauge to let you know how much gas is left in the gas tank.

    where did you get your tank?

    • @adudefromhouston
      @adudefromhouston  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Joe Quesada That’s a dished “peanut” tank, hand pounded into shape. You need someone with real talent to make a good one, but off the top of my head, I don’t have a source. Besides, these days you can buy a mass produced one cheap. See:
