So sorry Nate is feeling poorly.... HEY HEY NATE!!!! Get well soon. Miss seeing ya! I love the overalls and actually have that pattern with plans to make it. Dee's skirt is lovely. HAPPY SEWING!
Both really cute makes. The fabrics are great. I hope Nate starts feeling better soon. Dress A Girl is SO fun to participate in. It happens in September in the sewing community. It's a year round thing... but the sewists do it as a challenge next month.
Hey Hey Nate! Really liked the first pattern and the skirt was so nice with the beautiful belt! Perfect length too! Very nice outfits to wear! You both look so pretty today! Have a great week! Thanks for sharing! I've been fall cleaning and purging too!
Hi Nate, I hope you feel better soon and go to a baseball game. Love the boho outfits The overalls do flatter you Dory! The skirt looks nice in you Dee! ❤
Your makes are really cute. Hope Nate is feeling better soon. I know what you mean about having too much stuff it is a constant battle to keep it down. ❤
I don’t usually like overalls but I think Dory's are just so cute! I love the fabric that Dee chose but I don't think the finished product looks like the pattern picture. It's still cute just not as full. My regards to Nate and wishing him a speedy recovery. I'm looking forward to your elegant makes. It's always nice to have something elegant in your closet for a special occasion like a wedding.
Nate, I hope you feel better soon; I’ll be praying for you. Dee, your skirt was lovely! That fabric worked perfectly with your pattern. I suspect that skirt will get tons of wear. Dory, I really loved your overalls as well. The fabric you chose had just the right amount of body to make it look like an effortless garment to wear. I finished my rompers, but my first mistake was grading up. I’m not used to sewing from the big 4 companies, so I misjudged my size; the straps are constantly sliding off because they are way too wide. My second mistake was thinking that the pockets were a bit boring so I drafted new ones that I gathered at the top and added a band. While the pockets came out cute, I guess because of the placement they make my hips look about 3 sizes bigger. I wish my rompers looks at effortless and cute as your overalls Dory! I haven’t decided if I want to make it again in a smaller size or maybe I should just try regular overalls. I loved the children’s dresses you showcased and the quote today was so good! I do have a suggestion for the draw pile; I would like to see each of you make a brand new version of your very favorite pattern. I hope you ladies have a nice week and Nate gets better real soon.
Thanks for your wonderful comment. It's funny how placement of pockets can make a difference. They do sound cute. Thanks for the draw suggestion, we will put it in the box.
