Beni - Live Alert - Intelligent Disobedience

How many times does the dog have to tell me I have low blood sugar before I listen? Well, evidently 3 times despite me even telling him “No” numerous times...not my best dog trainer moment!

It can be difficult to learn to trust your dog when you are the one who has raised and trained them from the very beginning! When you have a DAD you are bound to miss some of the dogs’ alerts right away, whether their initial alert is just a slight behavioral change or extremely clear like Beni’s numerous alerts here! Do better than me - always trust your dog and check, because either they will be spot on like Beni is here, or if not then you can provide that feedback which will improve their accuracy in the future. Whether you are a self trainer or a professional trainer, it’s impossible to immediately and perfectly respond to every alert, but thank goodness dogs are so patient with us!
