You're so out of touch with reality Foster . 90% of kids up and down the country drink with their mates at 14/15 . If you don't you're classed as a weirdo. MAYBE .....MAYBE different now as the kids do drugs much earlier . I grew up in late 90's early 00's as a teenager and drugs were for ''junkies'' and it was how much you could drink . The naviety to say 14/15 year olds dont drink is incredible
I was the same tubes, I'm 25 and two years sober now but for a couple of years I'd have two bottles of wine before I'd even get out of bed and a bottle of vodka and a few beers for the rest of the day. Passing out every couple of hours for an hour or so. Lost everything but in a couple of years my life has done a total 180 and I've never been happier. Stay strong tubesy lad 💪
As someone who is currently fighting addiction after a life changing injury you boys don’t understand how important it is for people like you to speak about things like this, Thankyou
My mum had a drink problem for 6 years most people don't understand, being a alcoholic isn't a choice it's a illness, So much respect for tubes coming out and speaking about this 👍👏
Never met Tubes, but he's one of the soundest blokes you could interact with. DM'd him on Insta saying his golf channel had re inspired me to play golf after about 15 years not playing. Sent me a voice note in return. What a guy ❤
I met Tubes after Chelsea beat Wigan to win the league. He was drinking like a fish and off his rocker, but still one of the nicest blokes I've ever come across. Happy to see he's got help and turned it around.
Fair play to tubes I know where’s he’s coming from…I used to drink heavy and had to stop otherwise I would drank myself to death. Total respect to him to be so open…
3 years clean of Gambling and drugs addiction here mate. Hit a low point in my life and was living in a bedsit doing £1k of coke a week and would play poker constantly through the night just for something to do to keep my mind active. Lost Hundreds of thousands on buying the coke and losing. Was horrible. Hope you stick to it mate. Meetings helped me hugely. Good luck on your journey, mate. All my love with you.
Much love for Tubes I quit alcohol two years after he did! I have drank on three separate occasions since in a mental health crisis but I’m now 70 days sober again never to be in that situation again! I watch this for encouragement all the time!
Absolutely class Ben is so good at talking and asking the real questions. And tubes what a guy been through so much but is still here to help and guide others.
Massive respect tubes, biy different but I'm 4 weeks quit gambling and I'm preying this is it now...I'm doing ga and self excluded from everywhere so trying my best. Could listen to your story all day for inspiration
I remember I was with Tubes in 2015 outside Stamford bridge after we won the title against Palace. He was singing and shouting, you could tell he’d been on the piss and we was all loving it but little did I know that he was going through it at the time. Glad to see that he’s overcome his addiction 🙌 Inspirational stuff
I remember reading Keith Chegwins book a couple years ago - again a well known funny guy with a hidden drink problem - reading I felt a huge disappointment and sadness when he said he fell off the wagon. Ultimately, we know what happened to Keith. Im absolutely thrilled that Tubes has come through it a better person - well done Tubes and thanks Ben for a great interview - up the Baggies
Well done Tubes for overcoming your addiction. A good friend of mine was not so lucky, he didn't survive the heart attack at the age of 30. It's an awful sickness. Wishing you the best
Massive respect for Tubes .. The battle he had with himself .. man we can do anything in the world if we set our minds to it .. wow .. I've been trying to find my own battles at the moment and this video has been inspiring to me .. I'll have a better outlook towards life and turn it around for good

brilliant vlog this ben foster ,i remember watching peter aka tubes open his heart up about alcoholism and his heart attack and how he knew he had to change his life and kick the habit .
Great snippet again. Can't wait for the full episode. Tubes class as always talking so honestly about his alcoholism. Fair play to him reaching out to others to help them too. Definitely both your channels up there ony go to TH-cam watches 👏👏👏
Great honesty. We started drinking at around 13, if my kids had/would do that I’d go mad. And up until 30’s got absolutely smashed. But never alcoholic status despite work being full of alcoholic. Had a mate who literally drank himself to death, liked it too much. Another gave up twenty years ago, and he was a professional alcoholic. Same story about needing a bottle of vodka by his bed. He lost a week and then ten days not knowing what had happened
Respect to tubes for discussing this as it cannot be easy, he must have serious inner strength to get through what he has been through, he must have had some very dark days 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
I remember tubes being the heart beat off soccer am back in the days with his skits and he would make everyone laugh. But it shows people fight private battles than no one knows about just to show not everyone lives the perfect life. Please be kind to everyone. Love and respect ❤️
I remember my misses calling me from the train telling me "that guy from Soccer AM is on the train". I asked her to get a photo with him so she did. The photo was of her and Tubes who was passed out on the floor of the train 😂😂😂
It seems clear how important support networks are to help people see where occasions of bad choices or less than ideal choices can become patterns of bad behaviour. Having one too many one too many times is one thing, or one bad financial decision one too many times, but anything more has to be identified before it begins to ruin lives.
Asked a question that I’ve been looking for in this podcast, I’ve been searching and watching tubes alcohol talks just for someone to ask this certain question and find the responses so thank you
Fair play to him for being honest. I clicked on this video and the advert that came up was for Heineken. Sad. We have normalised alcohol addiction in society.
Tubes is sound don’t know him but on his channel he’s given me advice and encouragement after I had a H. A. ,, he went out of his way to be honest. Top fella

14/15 is so so normal where I live. I was smoking can pipes at 11 and regularly dropping ecstacy by 15. Not coincidentally, I ended up in AA aswell :D
