This is probably the grossest control strategy I’ve ever seen. I’m glad Rhongo and Auradon are both gone so this isn’t really feasible to achieve in TCG. That said…I am curious if activating source of destruction’s effect on turn one is both achievable and practical.

You say that, but phantom knights do it in half the cards. Denglong is nutty and auroradon a massive crutch, but anything they produce offers more interaction than rhongo. Konamis inability really shows with them refusing to ban halq.

At the end of the day, this continues to prove that you can summon basically anything with Isolde -> Halq -> Deskbot -> Auroradon BS. Honestly, I think it'd have been funnier just as Tierra turbo, Rhongomyniad + 1 negate is functionally almost the same thing
One of the rules is that if your opponent drops Isolde and you don't have a handtrap, might as well surrender.

I only used Rhongo during the XYZ event, but only got it out once with a pair of Gaia monsters. It went pretty badly, so I pulled him out of my fusion deck (sorry, my old age is showing). Of course, I should mention that I have no idea how to build an XYZ deck, so I threw in a bunch of random rank 4 monsters along with Thunder Gaia.

Tierra turbo is likely to lose you the game. Opponent probably has a 1 card combo that outs it and then you just die.
He started this whole combo with 1 card, and didn't even need anything else. The power of the combo all came from the deck/extra deck....

Had I been able to save my replay 😮💨😔 I didn’t have any more saves available. I drew into the perfect counter for rhongo and ended up winning. I drew 4monsters turn one (turn 2of duel) and outlasted his effects until I could ss again. Then it was easy peazy. Gg gf

See I don’t mind this stuff if the opponent does it as quickly as the guy is here! Nothing worse than someone doing a massive combo but taking 10 mins per step like basically falling asleep waiting for it!

Nibiru is bricky but Ash yes. It is very important, especially to stop Maxx C.
Typically you want to Ash the Rusty Bardiche in Rhongo decks. Here you'd probably want to Ash the Isolde.

The field spell does different effect depending on what kind of monster is summon. If a synchro is summon, you can move any monster in your deck to the top of the deck. If an Xyz is summon, you draw a card. That now they got it to hand.
