The instrument is oud, the artist Dhafer Youssef from Tunisia. The clarnet player is Husnu from Turkey, the guitarist is Eivind Aarset feom Norway and the orchestra from Poland. This concert was in Carthage Tunisia. And i was there 😊

By the way Dhafer is Tunisian and he is playing oud. He is mixing arabian music with jazz rythms.

This is Arabic music and style of singing. I'm not sure if he's saying any words, it's hard to tell with how high he is going.. but the sounds sound Arabic.. if you know what I mean.

@@paulf2557 This is a Tunesian Musician/Composer and this beautiful piece of music is called Soupire Eternal ( eternal sigh ) I don't understand Arabic but his voice in this piece just goes right through me as in so very deeply felt.
