I imagine that in Netherlands the temperature at this time of the year is kind of low. You have to smash with quite good technique to get the ball as high as you did in the video. As always, thank you for your effort. Padel fans really appreciate your work.
This is great, Sven! Will try this when I play next in Dubai, I can "kick" it out with a flatter shot, but that's cheating so doesn't count! Still trying to figure out the feel for the kicksmash, never seem to be able to get in the right position for it during a match
Another fantastic video. It just shows how hard the kick smash is to get right. You are an expert Padel player and it’s tough. I think that my fellow players would say, “Mike, what the hell are you doing, the ball went to the next town, but without hitting the ground 🤣. love you and Sasha ❤
@@OtroNivelPadel I find as a tennis player that the kick smash kinda is my natural smash movement and a flat smash is hardest for me to get right because it feels so unnatural for a tennis player
@@Funkytrip73that’s good tho because for most people it’s the other way around and the kick smash is way harder. So if you already know it then the flat smash will be easy to learn.
if you like this shape, then you should definitely do a video about Stiga Cybershape!
Whould love to try it!

Thanks man! Well.. yes. And than its a question if its a good idea to do it 🤣 Especially outdoor; you might lose more points if you do
damn thanks a lot for this video. It helped me answer so many questions I had about this hit
Great to hear
Very usefull video, I hope one day I will finally be able to do a kick x3!
You can do it!
wait until the summer begins and use new balls. The best time to try is, is on a day when it is very hot, this will make the balls bounce like crazy
Sven....re the grip do you change your grip during play or would you recommend sticking with one grip for the whole game ?
I always have it in continental, but when I have time I change it
