g2 has a slower chip? come on youre not going to notice any difference, at this point its all the same. they want you to think the next chip is faster so youll buy a newer model. its all just marketing.

Didn't even need to flash a ROM for me. Rooting/uninstalling apps & hiding soft keys made my phone awesome! +the Poetic Case took care of the plastic feel
This comparison would have been more relevant if that G2 had been updated to 4.4.2 first. The update improves the phone quite a bit, for instance in terms of battery life, but not only. So PLEASE stop reviewing the G2 with that JellyBean Android version, that's not fair to the phone, which is still an excellent one.
Well, I think g2 scree still better and has better software. Has smaller size with same screen sizes which makes it easier to handle. I truly believe z2 only has better cpu(50% more ram also) and better camera. And not to forget waterproof thingy.

Exactly. It's half the price and they're on a similar level. I love the Z2 but the G2 is much better value, and it has such slim bezels,the bezels on the Z2 are huge. And yeah, if you want to pay a similar price to the Z2, then just get the G3.

Having a dedicated camera key on the side of the device is far more stable - the phone is resting on your palms and well gripped and your finger is pressing in towards your palm. If you're pressing in at the back of the device, there's no way that you can avoid jogging the image.

Clock speed of the snapdragon 800 and 801 on G2 and Z2 is so close to one another and he is saying that the G 2 is slower. 2.26 vs 2.27 and both are equal to 2.3 if rounded up. What a joke!

A ridiculous comparison. Of course the Z2 will score better due to the 8 month difference in release. That being said, LG G2 crushed everything when it was released. This was fairly stupid.

Root your G2, flash a rom and you have pretty much a perfect phone :D

What should I choose? Z2 or LG G2? I use my phone for taking pictures and playing games. The Z2 is only around 90$ more. What do you think?
