I have one and there is one major flaw. If you take it onto the sunlight, and move it around in front of you, you can see what looks to be like a strobe light show. You see these lines going across the screen. This is true with every carrier's variant.
I love my G2. Usually I put Nova on my phones, but I have been fine with the LG skin. Knock knock feature is awesome and you lose that if you use Nova. The camera is great for still pics but struggles a but with motion.
This phone is really nice. I have been using it for a month and I switched from an iPhone 5s. Can't go back to iOS anymore as there are a ton of customisation options on the G2. Btw great video and good review.

I'm digging the button placement. I got used to it in literally an hour of usage and I don't think about going to the top or sides or anywhere but the back. My hand placement barely changes when I need to change volume while playing games or watching videos, since my index finger is only moving an inch or so.

At the end of this one you said something about how LG had a bad track record with updates, but surprisingly they have updated the G2 to lollipop about a week ago! G2 awesome phone now and considering you can get one brand new unlocked for around 200 bucks, i cant find a better phone for the money today.

Personally I love the thin bezel on the LG G2 and think it looks better than the Note 3 and smaller in size (i feel 5.7" is too big.) otherwise Note 3 is a more refined device and u have the S pen and a company with better track record of updating their system.
I like the lg g2, only thing is, the speaker phone doesn't work. Can't hear my caller and they can't her me, so I have to take it off speaker!!!! Other than that, I love the picture and the camera is perfect!! The quality of the phone works all the way round!!!!!

One thing though "we all know LG's track record for updating android" ? what is their track record? the old handsets I don't think can really count for much, in recent times they work with Google so one would assume they would be pretty good with updates?
Just a tip.. You're running Dead Trigger 2 on High, not Ultra High.. Compare it to iPhone 5s and you'll see the difference.. Only iPhone 5s and Tegra devices can run it on Ultra High.. :) But you can find "unlocked" apk on the internet if you want to try it on Adreno 330.. Great video Danny, as always.

The only thing that I am concerned about, in the matter of buying this phone is that I heard LG put cheap components in their phones, and other cheap materials. Can anyone educate me on the quality of the materials in this phone? It would be appreciated. Thanks. Also I heard the LG Skin/interface is junk. I personally didn't mind touchwiz on my S3, I still rooted and hacked my s3, and installed cyanogenmod, and I liked touchwiz over cyanogenmod. Now, I'm running Nova Launcher, with cyanogenmod, and I really like the customization, but I'm going to try Go Launcher EX aswell. Hopefully someone can answer my questions.

Look at Google now launcher in google play. I put that user interface on this phone. Now i can use Google to text and such. Ps if anybody dies this and cant get their wallpaper or phone to go back tout the way it as, uninstall the app. It changes the display.

The one I had must have been an oddball, the camera was horrible on it and the screen had very poor viewing angles. Just slightly off straight on viewing and the colors would change horribly and you would get a goldish tint to the screen. Returned it for a note 3 on att even though the bootloader is locked down tighter than a preachers daughters panties :-)

+† EL BUEN YEEZUZ † just inherited a g2 in mint condition. it's amazing running Bliss rom. but it was already blazing fast and stable with stock lollipop too. highly recommend. it's definitely still relevant
It is good but I'll update soon to LG G4 or G5. When I livestream on FB, even tho my net is fast, livestream is lagging because of LG. And I don't have much space in it since all the basic stuff from LG are taking more than 6-7 GB...
+Marko Stc my daily driver is the v10, have you considered it? since the G2 I think the v10 is the best reviewed lg phone so far, and it definitely translates into real life. only gripe is the battery life, but that's similar to the G4 with both having 3000 mah. I have no idea about the G5 I think that's been the most divisive phone of 2016. some people love it some people hate it.
So I have just one question... is there any way to get rid of that menu buttons that were shown when he was playing those games? Or is it just set there and cant be messed with? Its not a very big deal, but i feel as though it will be a bit of an annoyance. Please let me know, im getting a new phone this weekend and i'm almost fully convinced on the G2 (:

Since the battery is sealed in when powered off can the phone transmit information to the NSA or other agencies?
im pretty sure it can't unless you rooted it or made it easily hackable.
