Next to the original Teen Titans, El Tigre and The Powerpuff Girls were the GOAT superhero cartoons back in the day! Change my mind! My Life as a Teenage Robot was also really good- yes, I do consider that a superhero cartoon.
I had Rugrats in Paris for Gameboy Color. The mini games were either shooting gallery or whack a mole-esque. There was a flying mission with Dil in a plane where you take pictures of landmarks and the other mission I could never get past where you can play as whichever baby you wanted just had you roam around a level with no clear objective. The music in that level and the mini games really slap though.
Regular show in 8 bit land was incredible. Of coarse it was a mario clone. They got sucked into a video game. Cliche as that is, its a send off to old classic retro games. And a wonderful one at that.
I think the problem though is being a Mario clone on a Nintendo console, as opposed to being a Mario clone on a console that doesn't already have Mario on it.
one game I would play all the time on my DS was Scooby-Doo 2: Monsters Unleashed for the Game Boy Advance, and it wasn't all that bad aside from some parts that throw a ridiculous amounts of enemies at you.

A similar game to the Ninja turtle one is Scooby-doo looks for clues. You fight ennemis, collect snacks and explore differents locations BUT there's puzzles and you can buy costumes for the characters which is cool :D You can also buy monsters and play as squlettons, ghosts, witches, evil clowns etc. It's a bit repetitive but fun plus the voice acting is good.
2:44 - $40 for the game in a thrift store? I think I can see why they were going out of business if they expected people to pay prices that high. I thought thrift stores were supposed to have things for cheap and reasonable prices

It really is strange how licensed video games are almost always bad. With how enjoyable non-licensed video games can be, you'd think that much wouldn't change just because a game is based on an already existent property. Especially since half the work (as in the world building, characters, etcetera) is already done before development even begins, so all the time that would normally be dedicated to that during the development process can be dedicated to making the gameplay that much better than a game which needs to more greatly divide up what needs to be done.

point and click adventure games totally don't give a sense of adventure, that's why they don't have adventure in the title also by this point adventure time was targeting an older audience since the kids who first watched it had grown up a bit by then, and even then, kids can still like point and click adventure games
That Adventure Time game actually looks really interesting. Also, an Adventure Time adventure game is just really fitting. Too bad I don't have a Wii U, good thing it's on more than just the Wii U.
As a kid, I really loved this one phineas and ferb second dimension game for the wii, as a kid, it had everything I could’ve wanted, simple puzzles that I was able to do as a kid, a variety of enemies to fight, and even a black and white section reminiscent of steam boat willie! I dunno, might just be nostalgia talking though
