Cool, didn't know that Decked gives a military / GovX discount.

I'm glad I saw that link at the bottom of their website, save that money!

Didn’t think about knee pads for recovery gear, great idea! You looked at beefing up the rear suspension for the increased weight yet? I wouldn’t suggest going the cheap route and doing the add a leaf. Get a full replacement leaf pack, either Old Man Emu or Deaver. Deaver can custom make you a pack for your payload, intended use, and desired ride height. Great job on the truck so far!

Jacob, thanks for the insight, I haven't advanced to suspension yet, I know weight will be an issue with the payload capabilities of a mid-size truck, heck my Honda Pilot has a better internal payload than a Tacoma or the Colorado!

Awesome video. We really like the decked system. Good work on the truck man.

Air down the tires to get in the garage. After installing my Decked system I did a AAL, it brought it back to ride height but I didn't care for the ride, installed Deavers and much better. I have a Ext cab ZR2 and this makes a great sleeping area with a softopper. Recommend you keep some basic recovery gear in a bag in the bed in the event you get in a situation with not getting the tailgate down.

Thanks for the input Steve, good point on a tailgate malfunction. I am also working on mounting some traction boards and a shovel to the extrusion on the GoFastCamper for when I get in a jam.

Very cool, seems much better than building one out of wood. I like the drawer dividers

Saving me time and energy, my two most valuable resources, and since wood is so expensive now, money.

Crap I just realized you commented on the decked video. I have a video showing a lockbox that goes under the backseat. I don’t have locks on it but I don’t need them if you have a locking tailgate. I imagine you can get locks. I’m some so sorry I got this one wrong.

Can you put anything in the bed if you don't have a cap?

Air down your tires to fit in the garage.

Once I got all my gear in the bed I can squeak in and out of the garage.

Looks like my dogs could still ride back there.

It creates a big flat surface for them, if you use a kennel crate, DECKED has a tie down track you can add to it to secure the kennel.
