AdP Oud is a master piece, and on my skin not animalic at all. It's elegant and one you could wear all year, even in summer. I am surprised you didn't like it. But, that's how it is: not all have same taste and sense of smell.

AdP oud animalic? I beg to differ. It's extremely elegant and can be worn in any situation. Idon't know what they put in his sample. It's such a beautiful scent.

The Italian word "Quercia" translates to "oak." Quercia is an oakmoss-forward fragrance. One of the best from the Signatures of the Sun collection from AdP.

Love that stuff, I tried it alongside the OG Colonia and Colonia Intensa. Pura was my favourite by far, and I got the full bottle as a result.

I have the discontinued Colonia Quercia. As I understand it, the new Quercia edp doesn't differ much. To me it comes across as a mature, warmer, woodier take on a hybrid of Armani Code, Sauvage/LR Carbon, and Moncler's Sunrise. The pepper and ambroxan foundation with some musty aspects are leading me to these comparisons. The dense waxy drydown later reminds me of Narciso Rodriguez Bleu Noir Parfum. I think it can work in all seasons, just not very hot weather.

I like QUERCIA very much, but it gave me headaches. Just sold it.
