I do perfectly fine with 90 horizontal and vertical sensitivity it really makes you more of a threat of you get used to it because you can swift strike through someone and then turn around very fast while jumping and do more damage before they even have time to react to it. But I can understand having lower vertical sensitivity because you will never have to look up or down very far and fast
i have it at 85/85 sensitivity. i had it at 100/100 before because it was just too much. I see you had very little vertical sensitivity, does it affect gameplay that much if i have it on 85?
I have 100 sensitivity on both, and (going down the rest of the controls) 100, 89, 75, 10, off, off, on, off, off, exponential ramp This gives u about the highest sensitivity u can have with having good aim, about sensitivity tho, having it any lower than 100 kills me and I can do flick melees (after dashing through)

Hi! Thank you, man! Ok, I use L1/LB for jump, R1/RB for delfect, the rest are same. Basically it allows you shoot, dash, and deflect during jump without letting go thumbstics. It's very useful but painful to get used to.
And yes, I have same layout for all heroes. It's very good for heroes like Pharah and Lucio, because you need to aim holding your jump button. I would definitely recommend you to bind jump to other button.

If you think about it. edge dashing never should have been patched. the dash would provide the momentum or built up speed and then grabbing a ledge and throwing yourself forward would send you flying just like in the vid. so it really shouldn't have been patched
Really good video man. Didn't know about the jump dash. Really wanna try and be a force to be reckoned with when I play as Genji. Got a lot of practicing to do. Personally I think if you can use every character (except maybe a few) at 100 sensitivity on the horizontal you can become much more aware of your surroundings, react quicker and therefore have a higher chance of staying alive and getting a kill. Would love if you included a button layout too. Genji has a lot to work with and I think his default shuriken fan button being X makes no sense since you need to be able to aim with it so I switched it to R2 and use X for deflect since I can activate it and then aim back at them. Great video though you should do more :)

Do you have auto-wall climb on? The reason I ask is I thought with edge dash you had to release the jump when he starts to climb (this is with no auto wall climb). Maybe with auto-wall climb you don't have to do this step?
mikedimples Thank you, man! No, I don't, because sometimes autoclimb may accidentally interrupt Dragon Blade or other actions. And sometimes it doesn't work properly, I've end up just starring on the wall XD About the dash, no, it should be turned off. As far as I know it's not working:(

good guide but what about animation canceling in the middle of primary fire which makes you have only 2 less bullets but the game makes so that when you have 1 bullet left it'll still shoot three, and a combo i recommend is fan-dash-fan-mellee
Finally, I'm pretty good with Genji as it is in terms of tactics and combos and some map awareness but I can't learn anymore from all the PC players cause they do stuff that just isn't possible for console, therefore I came here, and you have helped thank you. :)

Hi! Thank you! I use pretty much the same sens for all heroes. From 40 to 60 with Dual-Zone for hitscans and projectile heroes. For Mei I would recommend higher sens, at least 45 horizontal, and 25 vertical to build a ice wall in front of you fast with Dual-Zone. May be even higher, because it really helps with be more accurate and turn fast.
An extra tip: Try to use L3/LB for jumping. At first it is really confusing but after a while you get used to it and it will be really helpfull!

Guys, I found that using L3 to jump instead of X works much better as it allows for more mobility with your right thumb in order to aim.

To help me jump a lot I switch the jump button from A to the left stick on my controller
