I do not recommend dashing into enemies and then using blade, as you will most likely dash straight into the enemies crosshair and take a shit load of damage. And ulting with low health is suicide, trust me I know from experience.
Nathan never said dash into the enemy team then Dragon Blade. The combos he explained said to dash, Ult, then dash into the enemy team when your ALREADY using your Ult.
@@lordyoda607 number 18: learn to become genji himself and start climbing everything and make your own genji armor to help the power rangers with your weeb powers
For 2:10, you don't actually have to be the correct distance apart from your target. What I do with this combo, is I dash at the enemy's feet and look up slightly. This completes the combo and works extremely well against tracers if if timed correctly (especially if the shurikens land headshots).
Blizzard Guides I never really play DPS but realise that if I can play a good DPS I can play my tanks that little bit better through knowing what they can do. So if you can work through the more difficult to play heroes like tracer and doomfist that would be quite nice
i would love to see sth for Tracers blink management like u said or maybe Widow positioning. Sth for Hammond would be nice too thx for this Video. Helpfull guide
Another unorthodox combo i like to do is Dash-melee for 80, (from behind) then animation cancel the melee into Dragonblade, then slash for 120 The reason is because normally after you melee, you can't do anything else and have to wait for the animation to finish before your next action. The only exception is that you can activate dragonblade immediately after using melee, so what would normally be downtime after your melee is now being cancelled by your unsheathing of dragonblade. Dash melee 80, Slash 120 =200 But if its a 250 hp hero, then you can add the extra dash. Dash melee 80 Slash dash 170 = 250 But lets face it, every 250 hp hero counters genji anyway xD Both versions of this combo, i only usually do it from the side or behind their back... Simply because if you dash melee in the back then double jump while unsheathing the blade, you'll be behind AND above them, making it really hard for them to do a 180 and kill/ CC you before you land a single slash. Enjoy my secret combo ;)
Phil Mihaly Usually it helps to just fan+melee+blade because it just adds extra damage with no extra cost. In most circumstances, you can fan before any ability to sneak in some more damage
Pedro Emmanuel he is obviously a weabo who watches dbz every second he isn’t insta locking genji that can’t play any one else so his skill cap whould probably be platinum
Dash rmb melee can also be used into blade instantly. And a very niche but useful tip to know is that wallclimbing cancels the delay of meleeing, allowing you to perform another action faster :D
He’s honestly pretty bad for his rank gamesense-wise but mechanically I’d say that he is the best there is, and since this video is about mechanics, it was probably deemed appropriate to include his exemplary mechanical ability. I see your point though, makes sense; you could take it either way.
@BlizzardGuides I just switched to pc. While I was trying to get comfortable with the PC controls I found a new combo I haven't seen anyone talk about yet. I was playing Genji and the new combo I found out went like this: Right Click + Melee + Ultimate (To cancel the melee animation) Then you can start swinging away.
The dash fan melee I find REALLY unreliable due to it being pretty situational so I use fan dash melee which does a quick 108 dmg which then you can fan until their dead or deflect either one really helps me get kills
When dashing up into the air to pop Blade don't use your double jump before dashing up into the air. Save the double jump and use it right as you are pulling out your blade to allow another half second to acquire targets.
You can do number 5 (2:10) but with headshots instead to do a 248 instakill combo and if you pull it off correctly you can even not put in the melee to have less downtime.
Tracer’s blink management would be a good one. More specifically, how to be unpredictable with the blinks. I usually tend to just blink past them shoot and repeat.
I am doing shi* tons of dmg as Genji now, ty. Btw I cant quite handle the right click/slash/melee combo, the melee animation just wont start after the dash, some help?
the dash+m2+melee doesnt have to be the right distance, just dash to the enemy feet then flick quiclky at their head then melee, its an instant kill. it just needs practice
1/3 is knowing these tricks, 2/3 is seeing the situations where you can use these and then pulling them off, so practice these in comp and quick play with actual players that move unpredictability
watching necros play genji is so satisfying , and no he isn't fucking scripting as Jayne , an analyst made a full video explaining it's just 1 clip and it can happen. Even GENJI mains , not randy tracer or tank main pros , like shadder said its only a clip.
You can also use this and dash towards the top of a wall below a widow or someone on high ground and ult+climb up to them and pop up right in their face without showing where you were first
Blizzard Guides You gonna be motivating ppl to play genji wich is cool. But showing them a scripter is like confronting natural strength training beginners with the physique of steroided athlethes. Idk whatever
I know this is irrelevant to this video but i for the life of me can not play d.va! And i have no clue how people play her and not die instantly every damn fight
I mean I knew all of that... I still suck with him. When I use him I might as well be playing with my monitor off. This is one hero I can never learn how to play.
How to destroy Genji:
1. Whop out Brigitte.
2. Shield bash.
3. Genji dead.
Tamu Audwodia or maybe 1. Get a good Winston in your team (it could be you)
I need healing

You dont dash straight to them you dash up ans blade midair and dash and destroy
If you are trying to pick off somebody on the back line such as a zen or Ana it isn’t the worst idea
I need healing
I actually like dashing through them, if I don't get a form of damage boost I can dash, slash, dash which will kill a 200hp target
8 Insane Ways To Get Destroyed As Genji
1. Sombra
2. Brigitte
3. Roadhog

sym, moira
Steven Li Then don't play genji LOL. Idiot

If you are really nuts you could do dash right click dragonblade slash while canceling the right click like in the 190 burst combo
Hey I’ve finished watching a whole series of anime and learnt Japanese.. but I still can’t play genji wtf?
Boralus Gaming god how could they lie to us like this 😂

Dash rmb melee can also be used into blade instantly. And a very niche but useful tip to know is that wallclimbing cancels the delay of meleeing, allowing you to perform another action faster :D
I like how he puts Necros clips in there lel
Blazing Ice hes the best genji why not
Kacey Burns He’s not but he is definitely one of the best
Phoenix yes he is
He’s honestly pretty bad for his rank gamesense-wise but mechanically I’d say that he is the best there is, and since this video is about mechanics, it was probably deemed appropriate to include his exemplary mechanical ability. I see your point though, makes sense; you could take it either way.

I know quite a few of these already but some of the others will be very helpful for my gameplay
Blizzard Guides how do I dash and fan it seems that they have delay??? Please how to do it? Or is it no longer doable?
also: you can melee before using dragonblade to animation cancel then slash and dash for a 200hp deal of damage
This is helpful but it I want to to something like how to position myself and what characters to mainly target
Really helpful, thanks!

DRAGON BLADES IN THE COMPETITIVE MATCH
I am doing shi* tons of dmg as Genji now, ty.
Btw I cant quite handle the right click/slash/melee combo, the melee animation just wont start after the dash, some help?
EvilGreenHat I believe it's because it was dash, right click then melee
RC- dash- melee usually works fine with me, try and focus on the timing
in number 5 you also can dash to his feets and you do not have to calculeta the distance
the dash+m2+melee doesnt have to be the right distance, just dash to the enemy feet then flick quiclky at their head then melee, its an instant kill. it just needs practice
i noticed that if u dash right as dragon blade ends then you can skip the sword sheathing animation.
Yeah, same goes for wallclimbing :)
What sensitivity do you leave your mouse on when playing Genji?
Could you make a tracer vs tracer guide but not in game just in created game without healthpacks
I have only one doubt. How can i be good with genji while playing at 30fps and with a lot of delay/lag
Can you show your sensitivity and layout for Genji?
all of this was basic genii tips i was hopping it was a advanced guide next time
I completely agree, every genji above plat should know these things... :D
Yeah tbh it was very basic
Advice for the GMs or t500 since no player under has such potential. Cause I'll forget these techniques.
2:40 or don't dash straight and aim a bit on the ground
Define tracer blink management or pharah positioning
You forgot the most important combo:
Hello! + Quick Melee = Random Wakizashi coming out of nowhere
I thought that was you in the 1st 30 seconds of the video, but then I realized it was Necros, fastest blades around.
Bro.. number 3 is like... U can actually add shurikens when after u used ur dash but he said that that's the most powerful combos for genji
Please keep doing this
I convinced my friend to play ana and got a 6 man blade

Genji needs rework where he can mele better with the sword and less depend and the throwing stara IMO
5:22 damn boy! 66 Elims and 12 deaths your crazy good
what happened to fan dash fan melee?
Idk, I've never used it since I find it to be slow and has fairly long delay after using it
I was a plat genji main, learned to ghost dash now in masters
Noiiiice video dude
You can also just dash slightly downwards 4Head
1/3 is knowing these tricks, 2/3 is seeing the situations where you can use these and then pulling them off, so practice these in comp and quick play with actual players that move unpredictability
Want your opinion
Oni skin
Karasu tengu skin
I know almost everyone knows it but it was a little disappointing to not see the ghost dash in this

Heyyyy I was the 1000th like :p
Another pro genji tip:press q and immediately climb a wall quickly to cancel the animation and make your movement harder to predict!
You can also use this and dash towards the top of a wall below a widow or someone on high ground and ult+climb up to them and pop up right in their face without showing where you were first
It's very good but we don't actually know/learn how and when to use them in game

This is my tank shredder, fan dash fan melee
title of this video should have been "8 BASIC genji ability combos to destroy with"
I am easily able to do all of them and I can use ghost dash pretty consistently and effective and I am still plat
fan before any ability, including blade.
name of song at 0.00?

This is just basics of genji's kit. If u mqster these u are a decent genji buy u can not destroy..... mby in bronzw or silver.
Is it bad that I already know all of these facts and combos?
not at all, thats a good thing
Headshot - meelee - wall climb - dash =pro genji
Maybe add some writing, im confused
Dash melee is the worst combo ever, just holding right click way faster
lol people complaining that the combos are for low elos, but still you search up genji combos on youtube xD
