Back loading works. Ye are saved by grace through faith not of yourselves it's A GIFT OF GOD not by works lest any man should boast. EPHESIANS 2:8-9 . Remember Jesus warned us about wolves in sheep's clothing. Just because someone has knowledge it doesn't mean they teach 💯 truth. I recommend reading the Bible for yourself. Pastor John I would like to tell you I remember that video I watched it myself I was one of the 1 million I was saved before that many years ago when I was a young. I fell away from the Lord for some years. About 15 years ago I rededicated my life. I was always a believer did not practice my faith. I am 62 a full-time evangelist. I watch you all the time and I get many ideas from you. Thank you so much. May God bless you and your family.
By the way, I was inspired by John to seek deliverance from imbibing alcohol. I wasn't feeling addicted, i just needed to hear good diction supported by the Word of God, presented by a Bible teacher who has followed the ordinances thoroughly. Has anyone else wondered; if by adding ad- to -diction the spirit of intoxication is making a stumbling block of an excuse to have a relapse in judgement, a lapse of conviction?

I thanked the Lord everyday everyday. Because he has opened my eyes and I got saved in 2010 I did not grow up in a Christian home. My parents were atheist but we did celebrate Christmas. I think they just got to party. I'm 60 years old now. I'll be 60 years old. But I just thank God for my life. You know, I love being married raising my kids. But they all hate me because I got saved and I love the Lord. Things are just crazy. But I trust God and I know god's word is true. And I pray every day for my children. And I know I'm divorced but I pray every day for my children and I know. And I thank god for his answered prayers already amen

If God unrolled the universe from the earth, that would make the earth the center of the universe. This makes me think of deception in the end times about the truth about the earth, the solar system, the galaxy etc...

I am so afraid I won’t go to Heaven. Im so worried about being luke warm. I accept Jesus as my savior. I don’t know what I can do. I pray every day almost nonstop. I ask the lord daily to serve him better but I just keep struggling with impure thoughts and pornography, as much as I don’t want to look I still find my way there or taking second glances at women walking by me.

Only by receiving Jesus Christ as your personal Savior will get you to heaven. God knew you couldn't live a sinless life, so Jesus came into the world to live a sinless life for us! He died on the cross for ALL of our sin, and was buried and rose again from the dead three days later.... proving He was God!!! The Bible says, we deserve death and hell for our sin. But Jesus took ALL of the punishment for our sin, when he died on the cross. He is our Savior!!! Now, all you need to do is BELIEVE on him, simply by faith in your heart, and YOU WILL BE SAVED!!!

And that’s what scares me, I have done terrible things. I want to serve him in any way possible but then I also feel like I don’t deserve to serve him. @@paulallen-01 God saved me at 16 when I was in high school. For about 5-6 years I was on fire for the Lord, but then I started growing cold and backsliding and it got worse and worse over a period of about 26 years. But God ... He slowly started reviving me during 2019 (before Covid) and this restoration accelerated greatly during 2020. God completely set me free of my sins and addictions (obtained during my 26 years of rebellion and backsliding). God saved me from full blown alcoholism!! If this was about living perfect lives then NONE OF US would make it. We're all wretched (some worse than others - I'm one of them ...) I want to encourage you and tell you that if you have been born again, then you are the eternal property of Almighty God. He paid the greatest price to save you and to redeem you for Himself. He's not going to let you go because you are His property!! God used Romans chapter 6 to help me. Read it, meditate on it, prayer those verses over yourself. Ask God to reveal His truth to you. If you are born again, then God has literally set you free from being a slave to sin, and you are now a servant of righteousness. You don't have to serve sin anymore. You're free!! Now we might still fall back into those prison days of sin and bad behaviour, because that's what we learnt, but we can remind ourselves daily that we're not in prison anymore and that God has freed us to live a new life for Him. You can learn to overcome - one day at at time - by surrendering to His grace and strength. When the temptation comes for me, I'm learning to not just go with the flow, but to resist by God's grace, and to lay the temptation at His feet and ask for His strength to overcome. If you practice this daily, or whenever you need to, God will strengthen you. And He makes you stronger and stronger against sin as He works in your life. Yield to Him. That's the power to overcome. Yield to God.

I died when I was 19 I have been in Heaven it is everything Great and Beautiful and Good God has for us believers ❤ Jesus walked and talked with me I could feel his love power inside me and in everything in Heaven you are A perfect human how God created us to be before the fall before sin ❤ There are no real human words to describe heaven that you would understand. It’s a spiritual experience that is beyond real. Beyond high definition. You see things colors sound you hear the voice of God like a river. It’s quite amazing God bless.

I am very new to this channel and recently gave my life back to Christ, I just gave my first testimony two nights ago, and God has really been moving. In the video description, there is a reference to Matthew 7:16-20. The passage on the tree and it’s fruit, however, begins in verse 15, which was excluded from the reference. Verse 15 is essential for context. “They” in verse 16, refers to “false prophets” in verse 15, not to everyone. Solomon is the the presumed author of Proverbs. Mr. Barnett is saying that Solomon is teaching through Proverbs “about who’s really a Christian” (at 5:52). The video description says “the fruit of godly wisdom verifies you’re saved.” Solomon, however, clearly violated God’s command to not multiply wives for himself (Deuteronomy 17:14-15,17) and marry foreign women (Deuteronomy 7:1-4, 1 Kings 11:1). Jesus explains how to verify we are saved, in the gospel of John, the book written “so that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ” and “have life in His name” (John 20:30-31). Jesus said whoever “believes in Him” shall “have [present tense] eternal life” (John 3:16). Jesus said whoever believes Him who sent Him “has [present tense] eternal life and does not come into judgment” (John 5:24). Jesus said “he who believes has [present tense] eternal life” (John 6:47). Jesus verifies we are saved by believing in Him for the free gift of eternal life. To teach otherwise is to contradict Jesus Himself, the one who makes salvation possible. Since “eternal” has no end, eternal life cannot be lost. There is only “one righteous act” (Romans 5:18) that results in justification and it was completed by Jesus (1 John 2:2). We contribute no work to being justified. The only thing we can do to be saved is to believe in the One whose work achieved justification for us. If this video were discussing godly living and discipleship that leads to eternal rewards, it would be different. Mr. Barnett, however, has titled his teaching “How To Be Sure You Are Saved,” [video title, also at 3:12] but it is incorrect. The “fruit of godly wisdom” (Mr. Barnett’s wording) does not verify that you are saved but is an indication that the believer is maturing and growing in godliness as a disciple/learner. We know this because Paul called his believing “brethren” at Corinth “carnal,” (fleshly) four times (1Corinthians 3:1-4). They were believers (“in Christ”) but needed to mature from being “babes.” For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; not as a result of works, so that no one may boast. Ephesians 2:8-9 NASB1995 Our own works do not obtain or maintain salvation. Only Jesus does that.

The Bible says, "none are righteous, no not one" (Rev 3:10). Thus, the only people going to heaven when they die are sinners upon whom God chooses to show compassion and mercy (Rom 9:14-24), by choosing them, by Grace alone (Eph 2:8-9), from before the foundation of the world (Eph 1:4), and writing their names into "The Lamb's Book of Life", from the foundation of the world (Rev 13:9, 17:8). Moreover, He predestines them into adoption as sons (Eph 1:5), as well as, predestines them to be conformed to the image of His Son, and at some point, calls and justifies them (Rom 8:30) within the blood of Jesus (Rom 9:5) and saves them from His wrath, by glorifying them with imperishable bodies at "The Last Trumpet" (1Cor 15:51-52), which trumpet will be heard at the one and only "Resurrection of the Justified" (Lk 14:14), when He returns, to rapture-gather His Elect from out of the extremities of heaven and earth with a "Great Trumpet" (Mt 24:31), within "The Last Day" (Jn 6:39-40,44,54), "The Day of the LORD", the day when the present heavens and earth will be burned-up with intense heat (2Pet 3:10-12).

Father gave me a waking vision of in the clouds in a glorified body. It was beautiful but it wasn't that big. Looked big enough for hundreds maybe thousands. After the rapture of the FEW and the lukewarm left behind, they will show true nature as The Restrainer is taken out and the pestilence comes down. This is all by choice. ALL have had numerous chances with a relationship with Father and Brother. Breaks my heart. If you find yourself in the lake of fire know it is because YOU decided!! No excuses

Nobody really KNOWS he's saved until he gets judged. Everybody sins. By will or ignorance. We get to know until it's too late. After following advice from "wise" or "holy" men who happen to be as lost as we are. What to do? Just the right thing. God does not need worshiping or money. God is there. Loving us in His way.
Many will disagree with you, friend. When God converted my soul from darkness to light, it was evident to everyone, including myself. I KNOW he gave me a new heart. When this happened, and only when it happened, was I born again. I know!! Many born again Christians know. If we couldn't know then why does the Bible say: 2 Corinthians 13:5 - Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates? What's the point of checking if we're in the faith is we can't know? Of course we can know and the Bible confirms this. If you are unsure of your own salvation, then you need to sincerely take your heart to the Lord and cry out to Him to save you. He must give you a new heart (being born again). John 3:3 - Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.
In I John, the 5th chapter, according to verse 13, we can know for certain that we have eternal life. In verse 11 he tells us that this life is in the Son. In verse 12, he tells us that this assurance is only for those who have the Son in their life and that those who do not have the Son do not have the life. For those who want the Son in their lives, Acts 16:31 says, “And they answered, Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ [give yourself up to Him, take yourself out of your own keeping] (Amplified Bible, Classic Edition) and you will be saved…” When we believe in Christ in this way, according to Romans 8:15-16 Gods gives us a spirit of adoption by sending His Spirit into our lives. When this happens, according to verse 16 he tells us “The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God.” God bless Mystery Man
I would like to share with you what I believe the Bible teaches us about GENUINE saving faith. What does it mean to put our faith in God? It means we put our faith in Him for who He is and what He has done. Our faith in Him begins when we realize that we are a sinner who is spiritually bankrupt and destitute, in need of a Savior, like the publican in Luke 18:13, who said, “… God, be merciful to me, a sinner!” When we recognize God for who He is, we recognize that He is faithful and true to His word. We can fully trust Him to save us as we entrust our lives and souls to Him. This means we trust Him to take over the controls of our lives as we trust in His perfect payment for our sin, dying in our place when He died on the cross. Not only do we need to accept Christ’s death as a penalty for our sin but we must realize and believe that we have been totally justified (made right with God) in Christ through His resurrection from the dead. I Corinthians 15:17 tells us “And if Christ has not been raised, your faith is futile, you are still in your sins!” We read also in Romans 4:25, “He was delivered to death for our sins, and was raised to life for our justification.” We must put our trust in Christ and what He has done for us completely. We dare not add anything to it like trying to secure our salvation by what we do. If we do this, in effect we are saying to God, what Christ did for me was insufficient to save me. Our faith in Christ must be exclusive of every religious rite, system, teaching, creed, or person, including trusting in ourselves. (Ephesians 2:8,9, Titus 3:4) He is our all sufficiency. When we trust in Him to be our all sufficiency, then He gives us the assurance of salvation just as He tells us in Romans 8:16, which says, “The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God.” When we believe in Christ in this way, God accepts us in Christ by putting to death our sinfulness in Christ when He died on the cross and by giving us His righteousness through the power of His resurrection. II Corinthians 5:21 says, “He hath made Him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in Him.” (KJV) As it relates to our sanctification, (God conforming us into image of Christ in our daily walk with Him) only the Spirit of Christ can produce the kind of good works that are acceptable to Him. He will do this in and through us as we say no to sin and as we yield to His direction and rely on His power in us by His Holy Spirit. In closing, I John 5:13 says, “These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, in order that you may know you have eternal life.” I hope this helps. God bless.

Studying the bible is something I really struggle with I want to get in it but im worried im not truly saved although I believe the gospel an even believe it for myself but im unsure if its just my head or heart because i know you must believe with the heart I think I do but I have no connection with God that I can tell but I crave that relationship with Him I feel so distant from Him I want all the right things but not sure how to put things into practice. also I struggle with things like lust and other sins which are on the foolish side in the video so im very confused and worried but I just want to be holy and love god I want to be rid of and free of sin and the enemy.

Hello, Pastor John. You are describing what a saved man "does". I "do" all these things. I worship God. I avoid sin. I am gentle with my wife and children. I read scripture and pray every day. More than an hour a day. And I don't "feel" the holy spirit. I don't "feel" God's presence. I don't "feel" saved and I question it often. I look at John 3:16 and think to myself "I believe! Lord help my unbelief!". And every person I talk to says the same thing - "It's not about feelings." and yet they experienced something profound when they "got saved". If I'm saved, I didn't have a rush of adrenaline, a weight didn't fall from my back, joy did not enter in like a rushing wind. What. Do. I. Yet. Lack.
Believe the Bible not feelings you are saved when you trust / believe in Jesus . The Gospel of John 99 times says believe only nothing else by faith . Believe in the Greek is to trust in rely on .
I would like to share with you what I believe the Bible teaches us about GENUINE saving faith. What does it mean to put our faith in God? It means we put our faith in Him for who He is and what He has done. Our faith in Him begins when we realize that we are a sinner who is spiritually bankrupt and destitute, in need of a Savior, like the publican in Luke 18:13, who said, “… God, be merciful to me, a sinner!” When we recognize God for who He is, we recognize that He is faithful and true to His word. We can fully trust Him to save us as we entrust our lives and souls to Him. This means we trust Him to take over the controls of our lives as we trust in His perfect payment for our sin, dying in our place when He died on the cross. Not only do we need to accept Christ’s death as a penalty for our sin but we must realize and believe that we have been totally justified (made right with God) in Christ through His resurrection from the dead. I Corinthians 15:17 tells us “And if Christ has not been raised, your faith is futile, you are still in your sins!” We read also in Romans 4:25, “He was delivered to death for our sins, and was raised to life for our justification.” We must put our trust in Christ and what He has done for us completely. We dare not add anything to it like trying to secure our salvation by what we do. If we do this, in effect we are saying to God, what Christ did for me was insufficient to save me. Our faith in Christ must be exclusive of every religious rite, system, teaching, creed, or person, including trusting in ourselves. (Ephesians 2:8,9, Titus 3:4) He is our all sufficiency. When we trust in Him to be our all sufficiency, then He gives us the assurance of salvation just as He tells us in Romans 8:16, which says, “The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God.” When we believe in Christ in this way, God accepts us in Christ by putting to death our sinfulness in Christ when He died on the cross and by giving us His righteousness through the power of His resurrection. II Corinthians 5:21 says, “He hath made Him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in Him.” (KJV) As it relates to our sanctification, (God conforming us into image of Christ in our daily walk with Him) only the Spirit of Christ can produce the kind of good works that are acceptable to Him. He will do this in and through us as we say no to sin and as we yield to His direction and rely on His power in us by His Holy Spirit. In closing, I John 5:13 says, “These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, in order that you may know you have eternal life.” I hope this helps. God bless.
Mr. Barnett. I read the Bible every day. I've never timed myself but I think it's like 2 times a year. Do they still have the Bible on dvd or CD's? I hope so. If you can't find it on cd, then biblegateway has many versions, including other languages + audio in most (totally free on their site or app) that you can play on your smart phone. For example, the UK NIV is read by Sir David Suchet (the actor that played Poirot) It will keep going until you turn it off - just be sure to keep your phone charged! 😊
Señor Barnett, read the Bible but I have to re-read some versus, backtrack, etc… I can’t just read aloud once and move on. There are world champion speed readers but I always wondered… did they grasp the concept? Did they truly analyze what it was? Did they enjoy reading it at all? I see people that grew in the faith. They went to Bible school became a pastor and completely missed the mark???!! They (a group of friends of pastors at a banquet) said to me: “This is a job, Calvary pays you a decent wage…” Stop 🛑 ✋ I hate money. How could you hate money? A lot of people do good things with money. Because God hates money, I hate money… Let me just say they all disagreed that God hates money. This is why HE will destroy Babylon. Something like a millstone throne into the sea. There is no recovery for the sake of his true servants, this will never be a stumbling block. Money had its time and the servants could no longer be entrusted with such a powerful concept. Not before, now and forever in the future.
Just reading the Bible daily won't save you. God says to be DOERS of the word, otherwise it becomes a ritual only. REPENT first, and accept the Lord as your Savior and read the Bible to grow in God's Grace. 😊
So essentially what I picked up from that entire message is if You are saved you will act as if you are saved...... Still confused on the specifics. I mean I'm a Christian and God tells us to be sinless and I struggle with a lot of sin but I am always asking God for help and for forgiveness........ My sins are getting less but they haven't like completely stopped does that mean I am saved or what?
Romans 8 :29 are the ones going to heaven , the saved. For whom he did foreknow he also did predestinate to conform unto the image of his son and those he predestinated he also called and those he called he justified and those he justified he glorified.

I fell away from the Lord for some years. About 15 years ago I rededicated my life. I was always a believer did not practice my faith. I am 62 a full-time evangelist. By the way, I was inspired by John to seek deliverance from imbibing alcohol. I wasn't feeling addicted, i just needed to hear good diction supported by the Word of God, presented by a Bible teacher who has followed the ordinances thoroughly. Has anyone else wondered; if by adding ad- to -diction the spirit of intoxication is making a stumbling block of an excuse to have a relapse in judgement, a lapse of conviction?

I thanked the Lord everyday everyday. Because he has opened my eyes and I got saved in 2010 I did not grow up in a Christian home. My parents were atheist but we did celebrate Christmas. I think they just got to party. I'm 60 years old now. I'll be 60 years old. But I just thank God for my life. You know, I love being married raising my kids. But they all hate me because I got saved and I love the Lord. Things are just crazy. But I trust God and I know god's word is true. And I pray every day for my children. And I know I'm divorced but I pray every day for my children and I know. And I thank god for his answered prayers already amen

@@paulallen-01 God saved me at 16 when I was in high school. For about 5-6 years I was on fire for the Lord, but then I started growing cold and backsliding and it got worse and worse over a period of about 26 years.
But God ...
He slowly started reviving me during 2019 (before Covid) and this restoration accelerated greatly during 2020. God completely set me free of my sins and addictions (obtained during my 26 years of rebellion and backsliding). God saved me from full blown alcoholism!!
If this was about living perfect lives then NONE OF US would make it. We're all wretched (some worse than others - I'm one of them ...)
I want to encourage you and tell you that if you have been born again, then you are the eternal property of Almighty God. He paid the greatest price to save you and to redeem you for Himself. He's not going to let you go because you are His property!!
God used Romans chapter 6 to help me. Read it, meditate on it, prayer those verses over yourself. Ask God to reveal His truth to you. If you are born again, then God has literally set you free from being a slave to sin, and you are now a servant of righteousness. You don't have to serve sin anymore. You're free!!
Now we might still fall back into those prison days of sin and bad behaviour, because that's what we learnt, but we can remind ourselves daily that we're not in prison anymore and that God has freed us to live a new life for Him. You can learn to overcome - one day at at time - by surrendering to His grace and strength.
When the temptation comes for me, I'm learning to not just go with the flow, but to resist by God's grace, and to lay the temptation at His feet and ask for His strength to overcome. If you practice this daily, or whenever you need to, God will strengthen you. And He makes you stronger and stronger against sin as He works in your life. Yield to Him. That's the power to overcome. Yield to God.

In the video description, there is a reference to Matthew 7:16-20.
The passage on the tree and it’s fruit, however, begins in verse 15, which was excluded from the reference. Verse 15 is essential for context. “They” in verse 16, refers to “false prophets” in verse 15, not to everyone.
Solomon is the the presumed author of Proverbs. Mr. Barnett is saying that Solomon is teaching through Proverbs “about who’s really a Christian” (at 5:52). The video description says “the fruit of godly wisdom verifies you’re saved.” Solomon, however, clearly violated God’s command to not multiply wives for himself (Deuteronomy 17:14-15,17)
and marry foreign women (Deuteronomy 7:1-4, 1 Kings 11:1).
Jesus explains how to verify we are saved, in the gospel of John, the book written “so that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ” and “have life in His name” (John 20:30-31).
Jesus said whoever “believes in Him” shall “have [present tense] eternal life” (John 3:16).
Jesus said whoever believes Him who sent Him “has [present tense] eternal life and does not come into judgment” (John 5:24).
Jesus said “he who believes has [present tense] eternal life” (John 6:47). Jesus verifies we are saved by believing in Him for the free gift of eternal life. To teach otherwise is to contradict Jesus Himself, the one who makes salvation possible. Since “eternal” has no end, eternal life cannot be lost.
There is only “one righteous act” (Romans 5:18) that results in justification and it was completed by Jesus (1 John 2:2). We contribute no work to being justified. The only thing we can do to be saved is to believe in the One whose work achieved justification for us.
If this video were discussing godly living and discipleship that leads to eternal rewards, it would be different. Mr. Barnett, however, has titled his teaching “How To Be Sure You Are Saved,” [video title, also at 3:12] but it is incorrect.
The “fruit of godly wisdom” (Mr. Barnett’s wording) does not verify that you are saved but is an indication that the believer is maturing and growing in godliness as a disciple/learner. We know this because Paul called his believing “brethren” at Corinth “carnal,” (fleshly) four times (1Corinthians 3:1-4). They were believers (“in Christ”) but needed to mature from being “babes.”
For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; not as a result of works, so that no one may boast.
Ephesians 2:8-9 NASB1995
Our own works do not obtain or maintain salvation. Only Jesus does that.

The Bible says, "none are righteous, no not one" (Rev 3:10). Thus, the only people going to heaven when they die are sinners upon whom God chooses to show compassion and mercy (Rom 9:14-24), by choosing them, by Grace alone (Eph 2:8-9), from before the foundation of the world (Eph 1:4), and writing their names into "The Lamb's Book of Life", from the foundation of the world (Rev 13:9, 17:8). After the rapture of the FEW and the lukewarm left behind, they will show true nature as The Restrainer is taken out and the pestilence comes down. This is all by choice. Nobody really KNOWS he's saved until he gets judged. Everybody sins. By will or ignorance. We get to know until it's too late. After following advice from "wise" or "holy" men who happen to be as lost as we are. What to do? Just the right thing. God does not need worshiping or money. God is there. Loving us in His way.
Many will disagree with you, friend. When God converted my soul from darkness to light, it was evident to everyone, including myself. I KNOW he gave me a new heart. When this happened, and only when it happened, was I born again. I know!! Many born again Christians know.
If we couldn't know then why does the Bible say: 2 Corinthians 13:5 - Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates?
What's the point of checking if we're in the faith is we can't know? Of course we can know and the Bible confirms this.
If you are unsure of your own salvation, then you need to sincerely take your heart to the Lord and cry out to Him to save you. He must give you a new heart (being born again).

For those who want the Son in their lives, Acts 16:31 says, “And they answered, Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ [give yourself up to Him, take yourself out of your own keeping] (Amplified Bible, Classic Edition) and you will be saved…” When we believe in Christ in this way, according to Romans 8:15-16 Gods gives us a spirit of adoption by sending His Spirit into our lives. When this happens, according to verse 16 he tells us “The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God.”

I would like to share with you what I believe the Bible teaches us about GENUINE saving faith. What does it mean to put our faith in God? It means we put our faith in Him for who He is and what He has done. Our faith in Him begins when we realize that we are a sinner who is spiritually bankrupt and destitute, in need of a Savior, like the publican in Luke 18:13, who said, “… God, be merciful to me, a sinner!” When we recognize God for who He is, we recognize that He is faithful and true to His word. We can fully trust Him to save us as we entrust our lives and souls to Him. This means we trust Him to take over the controls of our lives as we trust in His perfect payment for our sin, dying in our place when He died on the cross. Not only do we need to accept Christ’s death as a penalty for our sin but we must realize and believe that we have been totally justified (made right with God) in Christ through His resurrection from the dead. I Corinthians 15:17 tells us “And if Christ has not been raised, your faith is futile, you are still in your sins!” We read also in Romans 4:25, “He was delivered to death for our sins, and was raised to life for our justification.”
We must put our trust in Christ and what He has done for us completely. We dare not add anything to it like trying to secure our salvation by what we do. If we do this, in effect we are saying to God, what Christ did for me was insufficient to save me. Our faith in Christ must be exclusive of every religious rite, system, teaching, creed, or person, including trusting in ourselves. (Ephesians 2:8,9, Titus 3:4) He is our all sufficiency. When we trust in Him to be our all sufficiency, then He gives us the assurance of salvation just as He tells us in Romans 8:16, which says, “The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God.” When we believe in Christ in this way, God accepts us in Christ by putting to death our sinfulness in Christ when He died on the cross and by giving us His righteousness through the power of His resurrection. II Corinthians 5:21 says, “He hath made Him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in Him.” (KJV)
As it relates to our sanctification, (God conforming us into image of Christ in our daily walk with Him) only the Spirit of Christ can produce the kind of good works that are acceptable to Him. He will do this in and through us as we say no to sin and as we yield to His direction and rely on His power in us by His Holy Spirit. Studying the bible is something I really struggle with I want to get in it but im worried im not truly saved although I believe the gospel an even believe it for myself but im unsure if its just my head or heart because i know you must believe with the heart I think I do but I have no connection with God that I can tell but I crave that relationship with Him I feel so distant from Him I want all the right things but not sure how to put things into practice. also I struggle with things like lust and other sins which are on the foolish side in the video so im very confused and worried but I just want to be holy and love god I want to be rid of and free of sin and the enemy.

Hello, Pastor John. You are describing what a saved man "does". I "do" all these things. I worship God. I avoid sin. I am gentle with my wife and children. I read scripture and pray every day. More than an hour a day. And I don't "feel" the holy spirit. I don't "feel" God's presence. I don't "feel" saved and I question it often. I look at John 3:16 and think to myself "I believe! Lord help my unbelief!". And every person I talk to says the same thing - "It's not about feelings." and yet they experienced something profound when they "got saved". If I'm saved, I didn't have a rush of adrenaline, a weight didn't fall from my back, joy did not enter in like a rushing wind.
What. Do. I. Yet. Lack.
Believe the Bible not feelings you are saved when you trust / believe in Jesus . The Gospel of John 99 times says believe only nothing else by faith . Believe in the Greek is to trust in rely on .

Mr. Barnett. I read the Bible every day. I've never timed myself but I think it's like 2 times a year. Do they still have the Bible on dvd or CD's? I hope so. I would love to hear the Bible while I am driving to my Sisters house 2 hours away. Bless you and Bless God for you being here and allowing me to visit you everyday when I want to. Señor Barnett, read the Bible but I have to re-read some versus, backtrack, etc… I can’t just read aloud once and move on. There are world champion speed readers but I always wondered… did they grasp the concept? Did they truly analyze what it was? Did they enjoy reading it at all?
I see people that grew in the faith. They went to Bible school became a pastor and completely missed the mark???!!

So essentially what I picked up from that entire message is if You are saved you will act as if you are saved...... Still confused on the specifics.
I mean I'm a Christian and God tells us to be sinless and I struggle with a lot of sin but I am always asking God for help and for forgiveness........ My sins are getting less but they haven't like completely stopped does that mean I am saved or what?
Romans 8 :29 are the ones going to heaven , the saved. For whom he did foreknow he also did predestinate to conform unto the image of his son and those he predestinated he also called and those he called he justified and those he justified he glorified.
