Very good review Paul T! I really appreciated the time you took to not only film it and put it all together, but the clarity of your voice and the detail you went into! Thank you very much! Having said all that, LOL! I am really keen on getting the Cambridge Clarion edition in the KJV. I have seen a few quickly done reviews on it. But if you have a KJV Clarion I would appreciate that you do a review of that one! Thanks again! God bless!

Thank you Robert. I do not own a Clarion in the KJV translation, however the clarion series is (to my knowledge) all the same bindings, paper, and font across the different translations.
That said, I have reviews the Clarion in a side by side review in the link below. I reviewed the ESV Clarion in the black gostskin and compared it to the NASB Clarion in the brown calfskin. This review should help you in making your choice since the KJV Clarion will look exactly like the bibles in this review.
      I hope this helps!

I have just ordered this bible, I grew up with KJV and then moved to other versions but they didnt sit well with me. I then used the ESV for around 4 years but I believe that God has told me that I should be using the KJV again. So i bought i Thomas nelson slimline bible first and I like the size of it, but then I have been advised on the issues with it.
So long story short I have bought this Cambridge bible from a local Christian book show here in Northern Ireland and it cost £80.
Thanks for your review. God Bless

Local Church Bible Publishers has high quality KJV Bibles without any of the issues. They also sell them at cost so that means a $150 Bible would cost $50.

I love reading about and watching quality bible reviews. I am not a Christian, i am a gaudiya vaishnav follower. I have a couple of books that are published that have taken inspiration from the bible paper, and it definitely adds to the portability. Of course, we consider cows sacred and are vegetarians, so as much as i understand how unmatched leather covers are in terms of feel and durability, it doesnt go well with our religious beliefs so there is no chance of them coming to our publications. Still, enjoy looking at how much passion devout people have, and rightly so, for their sacred texts. It about loving God at the end of the day.

I wish I had known about the polyurethane before I bought mine. PU is commonly used in tents and is known to shed over time. That explains why the liner was dissolving for another reviewer who had his for 14 years even if he swore that he was being very careful with his.
So basically; the Turquiose is a better buy considering the price difference isn't enormous.

You prefer calf split over goat skin ?

@@SavedbyGracethroughFaithAlone I have the goatskin and calfsplit Concord. The goatskin is miles ahead in quality and around 80$ more. But it's definitely 100% worth it to go ahead and get the goatskin. It will last forever.

What is your opinion between the Concord Reference and Clarion KJV bibles, as far as read ability. I like the Concord but wonder if the Clarion might be easier to read. The font size seems to be about the same, just different styles. Do you know if the texts used the same.

    Hi brother
    Excellent review
I am wanting to get this bible but I would prefer the wide margin as I love to link scriptures and notes and so forth,so I’m wondering how the wide margins affects the Bible ,is the Bible bigger in size and width or does the text get smaller more compressed, anyone with knowledge in this please let me know

I own this bible. What are the numbers on the bottom corners mean? For example New Testament on page 107 to the right of page number 4-2. Or Bible dictionary page 35 bottom right 2-2. They are through out the bible and I cant figure out what they are in reference to. In some places it even has con or just a single number. Your help would be amazing, thank you

Does this newer edition come in red letter?
Cambridge just grabs me I don't know why but something about their style just looks like a bible should. I love the Allan yapps, but for some reason I keep coming back to the Cambridge. When I do eventually get the funds to buy a quality bible I think Cambridge is going to be the one, unless someone's gifts me an Allan then my bible journey will be over, other then the reading part that is;) As always brother your videos are awesome. Godbless bro.

Paul T. What bother me on the bibles of nowadays is the fact that the map of Exodus shows an route that do not pass trough the red sea, but skirted it. A detail that contradicts the own bible where the map is attached to. Sad.

There is a whole world out there of finely crafted (and expensive) bibles. The amount of craftsmanship, the materials used, and in some cases the limited quantity available contribute to the higher price tag.
