My husband left me for a younger woman that looked just like me. His third affair became his second marriage. He took her to all the places we've been to and took pictures with her where I had my pictures taken. My whole 9 year history with this man erased by selfish lustful desires. I didn't exist anymore. > My whole 9 year history with this man erased by selfish lustful desires It doesn't have to be that way. My wife also left me under similar conditions. I've many fond memories but I haven't erased them. I'm happy for her instead. Why would I stand in the way of her going after what she wants from her life? The only reason I can think is because I had my own selfish, lustful desires. I don't want to be selfish or lustful. Instead, I congratulate her on the courage she had to pursue what she wanted in her life. I love her very much, and I'd only ever want her to pursue what makes her happy, even if it comes at my expense. That is what true love is.

The Sitar is a singer. I love this honesty throughout the voice of the co-singer because for me the Sitar says more than the singer and the way Anoushka plays the Sitar is killing. Usually in this kind of subject (betrayal or cheating in couples) there's a lot of screaming and big/heavy instruments sometimes you have a simple piano-voice but not often. I like the way she expresses the feelings . Pain can be expressed through a pure silence and pure feelings.

This is a soulful journey to the heart of a painful experience and back again. I love it all - but am enthralled with the upright bass and the sitar.
I am just listening to this song now and wow, it resonates so well! how are you👋!?
In case y’all don’t know, only through pain and sadness do we get some of the most wonderful pieces of art. You can be the most amazing at anything but you can’t control other people’s behavior.
I swear you looked like your father with all this new hair and stuff! The music is just woahhhhh!!
I can feel your pain .Thank you for being that brave .I will pray for you to heal your heart .And love again .

Magnificent.... Bravo... Amazing god knows what all can I say about Anoushka.... She herself is a masterpiece in this world. I see Saraswati in her
This is strong, beautiful in so many ways. Pain created to heal pain. Everything gets balance with this. Thank you so much. Liked and shared.
The instrument the lady starts with, the sounds are exquisite. Interesting mix of instrumental arrangements 👍🏼👍🏼👏🏼

This is an absolute masterpiece!! So much beauty in agony
wish I could like this a thousand times over and over again.
Music expresses the inexpressible like Huxley said. Much more than words can express.
LOVE SO MUCH .. INDIAN MUSIC AND NEVER IMAGINE THAT THE STUDENT OVERCOME THE TEACHER SO ... I MET YOUR FATHER IN A CONCERT IN THE 80'S AND I MARK ... WE HAD AN ASTRAL JOURNEY IN THE CONCERT ... BELLO ... FUGAZ. .. UNFORGETTABLE ... I CELEBRATE THAT YOU ARE THE TALENTED DAUGHTER OF RAVI SKANKAR BUT WITH YOUR OWN BRAND .. YOU EXCEED YOURSELF ANOUSHKA ... LOVE YOU
The pain in this song moves through me so strong I feel like I went through it, just Amazing .
And u explain it pretty
Awesomely
Soothing way .
Funnily enough, I heard this song the day it went live. I skipped it after a few moments.
Things happened and I ended up here again. The striking difference between how I perceived this then and how I perceive this now is amazing. Those little experiences have made each note on the sitar more relatable and the lyrics more pinching than ever.
I love your music! Sending you my love from Greece !
Anyone else listening to this on repeat?
Has haunting depth and Anoushka's emotion comes through so powerfully through the sitar 🙏❤️👌
Cripes. Every time I listen, I get something new out of it. Love it so much. Thank you.
I am just listening to this song now and wow, it resonates so well! how are you👋!?
Such a beautiful melody! Outstanding sitarist, Anoushka! Got goosebumps and was teary eyed after listening to this masterpiece! Singer, the cello, percussionist... all amazing!! 👍🏻
