Blissful and wonderful! Great musicians creating heavenly music. Anouska and Piashanna are amazing as always. The lyrics of Alev Lenz and vocals of Nicki Wells are real revelations. Nina Harries' and Danny Keane's bass and cello are real tight with the music and is haunting! Hope this beautiful collaboration continues.

I'm a guy who loves to listen ethnic music from many countries (as China, Mongolia, Greece, Norway, Thailand, Japan, Kazakhstan,....) but the music of India.... Is the unique one (and mostly the music of the master Anoushka) which help me to relax, to feel happy, to evade the stress of this weird society, I don't know if I'm the unique but her play of "voice of the moon" make me stay in a feeling or situation of happiness and give me power for keep going in my life.... For that and many other things which I don't remember now I must tell you thank you master, I feel that musicians as you keep a part of the soul of society .... Because which human product bring the soul and feeling of a human most than music?
Only I suggest you and beg you for keep fighting in your career and if you and your children like keep your soul music in next generations ❤️😳
A lot of thanks from a fan of Spain, I wish you will have the reputation you deserve master 😌🙏

If hundred musicians with hundred different instruments comes on a stage to play, Anoushka being with them will simply outstand and will have her presence felt individually even amongst 100 musicians. That is the power of her sitar and her talent. Supremely talented.

Anoushka is revitalizing and reinventing Indian classical music with her superb mastery of sitar and blending new sounds admist an evolving audience and landscape, be it away from India. Anoushka remains an icon and a true musician, mother , sister, daughter and an admirable and modern citizen of the world ! She needs a standing ovation for the work she has done and is doing both inside and outside the music scene.
Anoushka, be proud and stand tall ! We are both in awe and admiration for your infinite and on going contribution to our society !

@Anoushka Shankar: I chanced upon to go through your comment only on last night (5th Nov) and as I understand you are critical about not having given due credit to other artists in show, and it is not about my views on Fusion Music. I must make one thing clear here I never meant it that way. They're extremely talented artists by their own virtues and skills, acquired over the years of learning and practice. If I did it in any way, I tender my apology to them and you as well for hurting their pride and sentiment. But again, it is Anoushka Shankar who is driving and motivating force behind the Team Anoushka, as I date call it. The title in TH-cam also suggests the same. However, I stand firmly by my views on Fusion and the album Love Letter is a wonderful expression of creative fusion.
      P. S: Brother's Day is being celebrated today (6th Nov) here in West Bengal. I observe this day as Sister's Day and have celebrated the day with my elder sister (Didi) and the younger one (Bone) following the same rituals as a sister follows for her brother. I have also followed same rituals with you and the other artists (sans Prasanna for obvious reason for being bro) by freezing a frame from the video where everybody is visible. I don't know why I did that. Perhaps, there has been an undercurrent of sense of guilt playing in my psyche since last night I went through your comment that keeps haunting me. Perhaps I did it as mark of respect, love and care for the every team member. Plz convey my best wishes to them.

Land of Gold sung here is beautiful. It's not only a beautiful song, but it showcases a marvellous tonal quality and harmony. Credit to the composition and the singers. We should have more songs demonstrating the power of good song writing and vocals.
Land of Gold is one of my favourite albums and Traveller - the the flamenco marriage in it. I'm hooked on the performance in France. My 11 week old grandson is now enjoying Sitar after I introduced my daughter to Anoushka's music at a Glasgow performance. To think I started listening to Ravi in the 70s. Never dreamt of this. Thanks for making this available.

Fusion music, as I see it, a celebration of freedom from conventionalism, a way of creative expression, an endeavor to reach out to the mass, making the classic form of art more understandable, pleasing, yet soothing and calming for our heart and mind. Anoushka Shankar has been doing this for a couple of years successfully and I must say quite commendably. The present compositions are beautifully crafted. This is what we call World Music.

Anoushka is simply divinely beautiful, her music is divine, and everything around her becomes beautiful. Well, as for her professionalism - she’s just Jimmy Page of the sitar (I apologize to both for the comparison)

I would like to see Ms Anoushka Shankar to play sitar with kids singing the Indian Classical VOCAL with her exactly like this. This action by Ms Aoushka Shankar will be a game changing moment in Bharatiya Shastriya Sangeet (Indian Classical Music) in India and the world. It will be a great contribution by Ms Anoushka Shankar to the entire world like her father. ONE "RADICAL STEP" IS REQUIRED ONCE IN LIFE TIME. It should not be one more show. It should be one BIGGEST INSPIRATIONAL show that would touch the hearts of new Z Generation for years to come. The entire "three hours of show" with at least 12 or more talented kids (Young boys and girls from different parts of the world) should be your own entirely new "original composition" that the world would like to see. The announcement can be made well in advance. YOU AMONG THE KIDS PLAYING SITAR ON A STAGE HAS NEVER HAPPENED BEFORE IN THE HISTORY. So, try it. I am sure that you will receive LOVE LETTERS from millions of kids from every part of the world and you will be an inspiration to them. Your "one stroke" is enough to inspire millions of Z generation kids. A "One Stroke" can be a title for your world tour to inspire the Z generations kids in different countries and not only in India. You have played enough among the seasoned musicians. I have never seen you among kids. It is time for you to do something for kids who have motivation to learn sitar or trigger neurons in their brains to learn music. There are 1000s of kids who want to become either Pandit Ravi Shanker or would aspire to become Ms Anoushka Shankar in the world today. You can be an inspiration to their aspirations. Give them an outlet to express their creativity in Bharatiya Shastriya Sangeet. I wish you GOOD LUCK! Thank YOU !

@@JessiOz2k07 Some of it is her music, not all of it. The second song for example, she said it was co-written with the pianist.

Don't be tricked out of your soul , Jesus is the only way to eternal life, other doctrines and disobedience lead to weeping and gnashing of teeth. He died for our sins even though his life was blameless. Read bible book Matthew on how to be saved in Jesus

Crap I missed the concert?! I had tickets for the Ravi Shankar 100th anniversary concert, which was cancelled due to you-know-what. Completely forgot to use the credit I have with Southbank Centre. Oh man this is utterly gut wrenching. I'll have to settle for watching it on TH-cam, but I'm so upset to have missed this. Stupid of me.
