Literally the only good thing about this dreadful storyline are Chris and Alison, who are exceptional as usual. The writing is atrocious- no way the doctor wouldn't have sent Carla for a blood test and Peter should have sussed out Stephen long ago considering how he's always there when Carla appears to be getting worse.
Sadly, for emotional issues people simply get prescribed medication. The GP did not take her seriously at all and that is how people who had unusual experiences are dismissed by professionals in reality

If Carla owns the factory ,Stephan can not take it it will be up to Peter her husband to do something

She should have got one from her GP. Writers are terrible and so too are the mental health services outside of the soap, so can't guarantee it
