@@Thewoodenworkbench I get that you feel that you’re entitled to your own opinion but saying you don’t like someone because of their accent is out of line. Actors like anyone else have all different types of accents and come from all various types of ethic backgrounds across the world including child actors. They have exactly as much right to employment rights as any other worker in any other profession, and all of you soap fans are the audience and not the employer. It’s up to the cast directors who stars in the show and not the ignorance and spite of the general public who are clearly out to harm people’s careers with these comments.
There is no doubt that Tim will be a much better grandfather to Miley than his own father was to Faye herself. Granted Geoff may have generally loved Faye and Tim despite the extent of his villainous character, but he totally dissolved it from the moment his abusive nature was revealed when he started controlling Yasmeen and was later disclosed to have victimized Elaine in the same manner decades ago. So having said that and with Tim now set to get his chance to be a more interactive grandfather since Miley has come back to Weatherfield, he'll waste no time in outshining the manner in which Geoff was towards Faye from start to finish.
