    I have the Tusk 2 track. Which for the rear I'm really happy. But the front likes to wash, with that chevron pattern. I'm really liking the alternating side lug pattern of these front tires. How stiff is the carcass?

    Trying the Mitas XT + front and a MotoZ Adv Tractionator Rear for my T7. Will probably try a Mitas rear if I'm impressed by the front and possibly a Rally Star Pro Rally Front/Rear next season.

      The hookup on these tires and front end grip off-road is more true to a dirtbike. Best off-road traction I’ve felt for this bike

      Never ran them, kinda nervous about the brand and some of the things I’ve heard about the Motoz. Felt more confident purchasing the Mitas

    Just ordered a set to put on my AT....my nerves can not take the 50/50 grip offered off road by the Raids.

      That’s why I didn’t like the Anakees. A lot of the 50/50s I’ve noticed don’t really hold up well when conditions get rough. Yes knobs can be annoying on the road but I’d much rather have off-road traction. Less crashes, more confidence, less energy spent picking up the bike.

    I own them, they are just AMAZING off-road and pretty decent ON-ROAD. Just need to wait to see how much will they last, so far I have 3000 Km and still pleeenty of meat on them

      My e09 Dakars (older model with the same rear and different front tire) lasted from Germany to Spain and back. 2.5 weeks of a heavy gas hand on and off the road. Did mostly dirt tracks and trails but quite a lot of highway and paved street as well. 140/80-18 rear lasted ~7000km on my XR 650 R

      I ran a set (the standard not the Dakar) on a 450EXC. Much too stiff so the handling is dead, no lateral grip on loose gravel or dirt and heavy, not a tyre for lighter bikes.

      I had Michelin trackers on kove 800x. They didn't last even 1000km. Hope trail xt+ would be better

    • @janniksims5740
      @janniksims5740 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @dinnoo89 tracker is an off-road knobie, they won't last long on the street and won't have a lot of grip either. The e09/trail xt+ Wil have a little less grip off-road but will last waaaaay longer, especially if you get the Dakar version. My e09 Daker held up for about 7kkm on my xr650r Rally, with luggage and I like going fast on the road and off-road

      Those speeds on knobbies like this are not the greatest. If I was doing more road riding I’d run the E-07 which is now called the enduro plus I think

      So far I’ve been enjoying them. The Dakar versions like a lower tire pressure just as a heads up. I’ve got about 20 psi in my front and 25 psi in the rear. Otherwise they feel unstable, and as always are sketchy on grooved pavement

    I believe they are the new version of the E-13 how are they working out on the tarmac ? I currently run the E-09 on the front and the E-07+ on the rear. Not so happy on wet road they are really slippery. Someone told me don’t take the Dakar version and i must agree the non Dakar version is stiff enough

    • @FREE-RIDER
      @FREE-RIDER  6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@Jonathan-ez8tq I really try to keep the road use to an absolute minimum with these tires. They are too comparable to actual knobby tires. I wouldn’t worry too much about street performance, these tires are just meant to get you to the next trail in my opinion.

      I go for E09 to the rear and E10 in front.
      Loaded Africa + me = 300+ kilos.
      I barely brake in corners, I just let her do her thing. They are amazing.
      I was sceptic about them before, cuz I used to run TKC80 for years.
      I had no problem when it rains with my tkc80s, neither with these. She still cornering like its dry. Word.

    You need to flip your axle blocks around to move your axle back?

    • @FREE-RIDER
      @FREE-RIDER  6 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Not the first time I’ve heard that. I purchased a KTM service manual with the bike and have confirmed that the way I have them positioned is how it is depicted in the service manual.

    • @TheSpragz
      @TheSpragz 6 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @@FREE-RIDERyeah it will with standard tyres. But to give you more clearance you can flip the blocks if you have enough play in your chain. Only downside is you’re lengthening the wheel base so won’t be as agile.
      How did you find the Mitas? I had the Dakar version on my T7 and they were shockingly bad.
