- How to repair headphone one side not working at home, In this video, I tried to show you how to identify the problem in headphone and how to fix headphone one side not working problem, In my headphone right side not working, If your headphone left side not working you can still use the technic shown in this video to repair it, Even if you didn't have a multimeter

For me, my headphones work on both sides depending on the position the headphone jack is, otherwise it doesn't work. I keep having to turn it around in order to get it into the right position.

If your headphones are one side but there isn't any problem with it Try unplugging all of it and sorting it out and then plug it back in, it worked for me

For those on a tight budget and who don’t have materials for flux the 3 wires, it will not look at clean but you can use hot glue (the thicker sticks work better than thin). For the clay hard form casing you can use electric tape and use hot glue to make a base shape, then cover it with carefully wrapped (tight and applied clean to give it better protection and won’t look completely janky.
This video was great and done right, I watched till the end and just need some black magic marker or brushed paint to conceal the clay texture and color and ur gold! Nice job 😌

Yes it can be rectified by repairing, you have to examine place where your headphones start working when you hold the wire

I hate myself, I wanted to go outside and got out of my bunk bed and one of the wires got caught on my knee, and my headphones came out of me and fell on the carpet. And now one side is working and I really need to punch myself while crying. 😂😂😭😭😭

Would advise getting a set that plug in on both sides so that when your aux goes bad your headset doesnt care, at least not for a few more years (same basic issue of cable yanking will eventually damage inside of the headphones too, but it takes a few hundred yanks instead of just a few)

Any person who has knowledge of how to do soldering and basic knowledge of how headphones work can do this, But cost is totally depends on person, I suggest you to ask your family and friends for person who can do this type of thing

Sir i have same problem but the motor and speaker both are working when i touch wires so what's problem ??
My headphones are like actually.. very? broken.. If I move the Jack around I can get it to an angle it can start making sounds out of the 2 sides but I'd either have to hold it at the top or I can just *put the cord in my mouth* and that's actually *what I'm about to do-*

Mine always break at the flexible end of the jack. It’s definitely a purposeful manufacturing defect on cheap headphones so you buy new ones. The old cassette tape headphones had all the same parts and never broke so quickly. But now headphones are made by cheap overseas manufacturers for sale in dollar stores and they need to keep the inventory moving to maintain profits.
I don't have any of the tools for it 😢

Hello guys if you are using earphones it’s easy to fix
1) Take the side which you cant hear (right or left)
2) Then scratch the side of the wire your having issues
This worked for me
but my headphone only have one wire though

Your headphone's speaker making beep noise means your speaker are working fine, maybe your headphones have wire problem or 3.5mm jack problem

Insert jack to an ipod
Then move the wire just above the jack
If the sound comes out then the problem is from the jack.

Can someone help me I have razor headphones and only the left side works. The black box on the wire is causing the problem because if I hold it just right the right side works vut the second I let go of it the right side goes quiet

If both sides are working but one side is quieter, do you gotta change the driver?
Some time you can solve this problem by resoldering speakers or 3.5mm headphone jack wire, and yes some time you have to change speaker driver
