- We all know that I LOVE my GS01 Komodo by GMADE.! But there is this one thing. This one thing that is so bad that I am to the point of hair pulling..!!! So bad that I must make this video to showcase it's HIDEOUS NATURE..!!!! Ok, maybe it's not all that bad. Now go hit PLAY and watch in horror..!!! Thank you.
Wheels are absolutely the worst part. Every single time I ran it I popped a bead. Metal bead locks and axle weights transformed it. It’s the only RC which I have two of. Great set up dude 👍🏻
I absolutely LOVE this company.! I am only a Komodo owner so far, but I am only being limited by "RC" money at this time. I will one day soon own the lot. Really close to monitization now, just a couple hundred hours short. So RC money is on the way.! I love the BOM, and the Sawback both. If they are anything like this Komodo, I will be very happy.! Really appreciate this great comment.! Means a lot..
AMAZING RC your welcome dude. I appreciate the struggle with RC money, as everything just gets more expensive, but without throwing cash at the hobby all the time and buying the newest latest trucks, it takes time. Keep it up dude, I would love for my channel to get to your stage ✌🏻

Great video Brian. I drove the 1903 4 or 5 years ago. The 1903s are one of the worst tires I've ever driven. Plastic wheels should definitely be banned from trucks. They should charge 20 bucks more for some better wheels. 😬
Here's where things get crazy.! These MT- 1903s are amazing..! The tires themselves are super squishy with heavy aggressive knobs. They stick to everything so far that I have tried. The rims.... no change. With that said, still by far one of my most favorite rock crawlers to date. Every other part on this truck was Top Shelf. Nothing was just out of place and they left me with a bucket of extra stuff screws included. I will say though I'm not a big fan of Phillips head screws in RC cars. Maybe that's just me. @@AMAZINGRC maybe they changed the compound but I drove one competition with the tires and was not able to finish 3 of 4 courses because of missing grip 😂
All very possible. I will keep you posted as to how they do on my end. Working on a carbon fiber battery tray for the front of the truck. I moved the receiver housing to the rear earlier today. Just got done cutting out the carbon. Now to fit and clean things up. Video tomorrow maybe. Keep you posted.!

I also had some gmade plastic beadlocks wheels. Not the same model. They lasted 3-4 batteries. Cracked pretty badly. Gmade steel wheels on my heavy scx10 has been bulletproof.
I have a new SCX10III as well now, so I know the wheels. I couldn't believe the great quality of the rest of the truck. And then there was the wheels... OMG the wheels... were so bad.! But I now have had this truck for two years and I LOVE ALL OF IT.!! U have different wheels of course...LOL.!

I absolutely LOVE this truck.! Except for the wheels...LOL.! I am thinking that they just missed it. Everything else on the truck is top shelf. Like I said in the video,"the wheels are totally fine, as long as you do not intend to take them off and reuse them." Really great truck.! Many thanks for this great comment.!!

I really miss my TRX-4 to be honest... LOL.! "RC" cash has been short for a bit though and that is where the TRX-4 ended up going.... But things are almost there because of people just like you.! All of my friends and their support watching my videos ALMOST has my "monitization" back. Still a couple hundred hours short... but close.! So thank you once again for watching my video my RC Brother.!

By far one of the best RC Crawlers for the money.! I would suggest the kit to a friend because I love the internal spring shocks that you get. But aside from the wheels you are 100% correct this truck is awesome.! Thanks for the great comment.!🏎🙂👍

It does not happen often that the rim breaks like that, but it could be a defect of the rim, maybe it had a crack .

For sure on the heads up.! However, don't let it persuade you in not purchasing one of these Fine RC trucks. The only real issue was the rims. Everything else was so far above average in my eyes that it didn't matter about the rims at all. I am actually getting some comments from Komodo owners that say the same thing. I love this truck.! Really appreciate the great comment as always my friend.! 😎👍🏎

LMAO.! I kinda knew it would happen to some of us.. LOL.! I noticed myself watching the video playing as well.!! I loved my TRX-4 and I will have another one when I get my RC Spending Cash account built back up. I am only a few hundred hrs short so I am almost there. Maybe I just need kick ass 2006 Lego train to get my channel a little boost.. LOL.! I can't wait to get my hands on a Lego train. Looks like so much fun.! Someday soon for sure.!

LOL as soon as I saw the title I knew it was going to be the wheels. Mine did not want to stay on the rims so I went alloy. But I still have them in one piece.

I am afraid that my new Komodo video has not translated well in Korea, and for this I apologize. I hold my GMADE Komodo in the highest regard. And of course I say this in the video. The wheels are not the greatest, but I look past this due to the extremely high quality of the rest of the truck. I still say this is my most favorite truck..!

I LOVE this truck Big Mike.! I'm telling you brother, they stopped at the wheels... Ran out of budget..? Got mad at eachother and stormed out of eachother's offices..? IDK, something happened and they used these bad rims... With that said, This is my most favorite rigs that I own now, and in the past as well.! Thank you for the great comment my brother..!!

To be honest Scott I was not upset one bit when I finally found the cheap rims. Everything else was so far above-average for me that I almost tried to create the scenario where this one and only part in the entire design was this horribly bad. Did they run out of money? Did the head of the design team get mad over a relationship and storm out right at the end? Who knows, just really weird that the only horrible part were are the rims. I absolutely love the Komodo , and this company as a whole. Not only would recommend this truck to any one of my friends, albeit with a warning of the rims, but I anticipate the purchase of the Sawback.! Thank you for watching my great friend.!!😎🏎👍
