Great video. And all 4 busters do fit inside but you have to remove the gunner chair.
I bought one and I must say, as a grown adult it is so much fun to play with :D My daughter also loves it. I am so pumped for this film! The antici.... .......pation is killing me :p
Since Hasbro bought out Kenner, would have been really nice if they made this from the Kenner Ecto-1 but reengineered it to have the gunner seat. It would have been a year 30 old design much like in the move and how it's the same car 30 years later.
A light kit for it in the future would be nice. Just like I said before the RGB Ecto should get one.
Appearance wise, this is a great Ecto-1! But I don't like the fact that the driver side front door does not open, and that there is no front passenger seat. That's disappointing for me. To each their own though. The Kenner Ecto-1 will always be my favorite between the two. Plus getting the stickers on the tires was pain in the rear! Those should have been sculpted on the tires.
I was happy to find this at my local Target, no figures yet though.
As per usual with Hasbro, they don't supply anywhere near enough product to meet demand.
I started seeing the figures in stores today. Hope this helps.
*I hope somebody makes rust stickers so it looks like the Wrecto 1 just like they do with Slime ones for the Ecto 1A*
Man this woulda been so awesome if they made this Ecto-1 into a remote control type of car and with special editions it comes with a second controller for the little RTV in the back. Like when you open the back and it releases the RTV and then you can control it. Man that would be so kool.

I don't understand why this is called a "playset" when it is clearly not a playset. The driver's side door doesn't open. The driver's seat doesn't have a peg to secure the figure. I don't know if they were just cutting corners or not paying attention to what they were doing when designing this vehicle.
Honestly I was going to pass on this car. But my "Afterlife" showing is 4pm today and I'm so excited so I'm heading to Walmart before work and grabbing a new Ecto!
You can also put the hose on the ghost blaster.

I really like it. I want to find the Classics 84 version though. I'll be interested to see the differences between the two toys. Edit: To specify, there's a Hasbro "Fright Feature" Classics 84 version out there somewhere. But I'd also like to find the Has/Kenner Reissue too!
I have been scouring the shelves for any "kid line" Ghostbusters at all. Two Walmarts near and only one of the two stores had Plasma series wave 1 and some role play gear. Then nothing else. Now, months later, I stumbled across the 1984 classic Ecto-1 at Winners. The only one on the shelf! Now I am trying to find any reviews on it before I open it, but I can't find anything! And your reply is the first reference to it that I have been able to find!
@@Evantainment I found it too. It's not at all what I thought it was and I'm annoyed because I vastly over payed. It's essentially a "model kit". No functionality at all. The doors don't even open. The Afterlife or OG Kenner versions are where the fun is at unfortunately.
@Andrew Thielmann That is super disappointing. I figured it would be the shell of the Afterlife version with no accessories. Thought the doors would open but would be missing the actual gunner chair. Does it at least have stickers? Maybe I should return it. I have still never seen the Afterlife version anywhere. Thanks for the reply. I appreciate it!
