Dude! Go in miner settings and manually set your fans to whatever you want. Here in Florida I run em from 70-100%. Got 32 humming along fine! Their auto fan program is way delayed and buggy, as discussed elsewhere.
right that's what i was doing before, but in the event the device reboots those settings don't stick. Twice now i've seen it at 90+. Can't rely on the program, or manually setting it. That's why i have a fan on it for insurance.
@@MaddioDaddioMining Exactly, they must be reset upon restarting. Mine run at 63-66 degrees at 70% and inside temps is around 28 degrees. No firmware upgrade and 2 Ultras run between 850-1050 GH/s on Nicehash. They do sometimes dip in to the mid 700's but then go right back up.
Tswift just released the overclock firmware for this. Also these devices like to run extremely hot. The fans wont come on until 86c. And the cooler I run mine the less they hash. So now that Tswift has an overclock we'll be able to actively cool while getting 700gh/s per Ultra. Also for what its worth, just repasting the chips and adding new thermal pads of a much higher quality (24W/mk) cools the device so much better. Seems to hash better also. This was before the overclock.
repadding/repasting is definitely on my to do list. it's so hard to find that temperature sweet spot. we just have it engrained in us that cooler is better. Not in this case.
The fans on mine reset to 0% if the power to the KS0 is lost. Sometimes I need to turn all mine off. In doing so, the fans reset to 0%. They need to make it so the manual fan settings stays at what you set it to, even if the miner loses power. It’s a massive pain in the arse for me
yup same. every time they reboot or lose power you gotta remember to go in and change settings. I was hoping this firmware fixed that, but it looks like it didn't. I have all the fans manually set now, but as extra insurance i have a box fan on them so they won't fry if they reboot.

Okay, thats one of the problems of my miner here too.
I will try it with the firmware update.
But second problem is, whatever browser i use, there are not datas shown on the first site, no hash rate, no diagram, no other datas.
Is that a failure of the hardware, or is the firmware incomplete/ corrupt???

how long are you waiting? it can take up to 10 minutes for data to show up. is your mining pool address correct? is your wallet address correct? Also when setting up did you copy your settings (mining pool and wallet) from another device? If so i've done this and didn't change the device name after the wallet so the two devices were fighting over the same name and data for the new device wasn't showing up.

I was on the website of Iceriver, the problem is known, they work on a new firmware. 🤔
It seems Iceriver products are like bananas, ripen at the customer's premises.🙄
