Jason, you could sell these. My dad use to sell deer blinds that he made from wood. He loved to do wood working projects.

That's cool as all get out! If I could, I'd suggest lining the bottom of the "poop" box with some sheet vinyl flooring to make clean out easier and maybe some sliding "shutters" for the vents for those colder or rainy times. Great job!

The rubber mat is a great solution for the peak of the roof. Thank you for that :) I am reroofing my old brooder, and want to make the roof so it opens like yours. That"s an easy way to go about it!

The only thing i can see wrong with that beauty is how do you keep the rain from blowing in the windows? Where I live the wind blows a lot.
You are right rain always comes in more than straight down with the wind. Those poor chickens will get wet and get cold.

Glue some magnets on the outer corners of the roof sections so they can stick to each other and hold each other open?
Great build and design! Question: how long can you keep your chicks in here? Asking bc I worry about how shallow the drawer is, and if its possible to keep them there till they are fully feathered and ready for the great outdoors.😅
Finally made it, had to chase down the puppies in the back pasture. Pulling off ticks as I go. 4 so far...
Looks great. I really like the trim detail. One suggestion for the hardware cloth. Paint the hardware cloth black and it disappears. I did thus with my large run and you can see through it so much easier

still using it and it is working great! no issues 2 yrs. later. You can do either. but I just set it on the floor. thanks for watching!

Should've used smaller mesh so animals couldn't grab the chickens through the net. Plus rain comes in all different directions, say sideways with the wind. Those babies will be getting wet and catch cold a d might even die. Please take in my thoughts as consideration Jason.
