Thank you so very much! This is just what I needed. A friend with a sudden health issue gave me his flock of 50 birds. And I am scrambling to figure out housing. This will work out great.
I love the idea of your chicken tractor, I’m going to share this to see if I can get one made . I already have the hard wear cloth back from a few years ago, just like you !
I enjoyed watching this video. I must say, I enjoyed watching you build the temporary chicken coops. You are a meticulous and clean builder. That's what I appreciate. You take every job seriously and build it so that the end product looks good and neat. Great job! I like the steel pipe handle, it looks good and sturdy. Of course, the chickens don't care if their home looks good or not, but, they don't watch your videos either,,, we do, and we enjoy them.
Jason I love that you care about how things on your homestead look. The new tractors look good & will be a nice step up from the brooder. The garden is beautiful and doing well Loraine, and you're still harvesting lettuce! Yes! The grass is much nicer now. I love how you all steward the land & animals. I really enjoy all your videos, so let me say thank you.
Going to bed early is a nice ambition, hardly happens as farmer types tend to find more to do all the time. Course throw in editing and there you are. Love your sharing your life. It’s a grand life and the Lord is blessing you and us too. Thanks!
I loved seeing more personality showing, Jason. You are really fun to watch! Enjoyed seeing the clip with Mom/Daughter walking away and talking to each other. Sweet!
Thank you for another stellar vlog! Love seeing how you guys are bringing that land back to life! Thx for staying up to edit for us-hope you get to catch up on some rest soon.
Love your videos showing the growth of your chickens. I'm also impressed with how much building of coops and pens you are doing. It's interesting to see how you are building corrals for chickens like the homestead previously had corrals for horses.
The portable coops look great! I agree with you, they need to look nice! Good to see you guys! Yah I go to sleep late and every day I say it's going to be earlier and still 1:30am comes around ....makes me so mad.😂 I don't learn! 🤗🤗💜🤗🤗
Jason first I wanna let you know that I really value your videos and thereby, the time you spend putting them together for us. You do a lot of teaching in your videos and I thank you for taking the time to do that!! Second, that was a great bye I’m getting all of that fabric on sale 75% off at the end of the season even though you weren’t sure what you were gonna do with it or when you would need it, you just took a chance on it and now, with the high prices of everything, I know you’re glad you did!! Third, I like how you were able to utilize the board you have by ripping them in half & Still having a Sturdy enough chicken coop/tractor!! Again, with the economy as it gets higher & higher prices, you show people how to be efficient with what you have! Your turkeys are really beautiful. I don’t know that I’ve ever seen young turkeys that look as nice as yours so I was very excited to get to see them at that age. I’ve always seen older turkeys. Last, I think it is harder to get to bed early in the summer time. The only thing I can say about that having lived on the farm also he said come Winter, It’s easier to go to bed around 6 PM because the sun goes down at five and most farmers get their chores done before dark so it’s kind of a trade off. God bless you for how hard you work and all that you do in sharing with us
If we have the cash flow, we buy the lot when the prices are great (75% off is great even when there isn't a lot of inflation and availability concerns) and we are likely to use the items sooner or later. If nothing else, and we think we can/ will use it, we spend the amount a single would cost at full price resulting in extra quantity in the cart at no more cost than what we expected to pay when we entered the store.
Hi Jason! Great build! We currently have 100 cornish cross meat birds in an electric netting, but we have been thinking about building something movable like this for some layer hens. So that we don't have to worry about clipping their wings as often. Any recommendations if we modify this to add some nesting boxes? Thanks! -Ryan & Cara
Enjoy your videos & watching your family’s life on the farm. Great chicken coop! I grew up on a farm, best experience of my life, so had to cringe when you said 6 lbs., my dad would not eat a store bought chicken or one that weighed over 3 lbs! You have a beautiful family! TFS
Just want to say a huge thank you for your wonderful videos. You've really inspired me to grow more of my families food. Really appreciate all your effort Jason and family xjx
You are a very creative skilled craftsman. Your farm is looking amazing. Lots of hard work and it shows . Maybe Lorraine could help you with some editing. I know it's very time consuming.
Nice emergency/little poultry tractors Jason! Thanks for showing how to build these. I like the handle design you came up with. Thanks for this Jason and family.
I don't have any meat birds, but I want to get my dh to build me a couple of these for my layers so they can be on grass. Thank you for an instructive video :-)
Love the smaller chicken tracker and that will be our next build for our next meat birds. I am the same way Jason about saying early to bed tonight with my day job, pastoring a church and trying to get out content. I do remember this from my junior high history school years. Ben Franklin quote. "Early to bed early to rise, makes a man healthy, wealthy and wise. Have a wonderful weekend and God Bless.
I hope you are feeling much better than about a year & a half ago. Just a reminder even tho you live in one of the most rainfall areas in the US. When planting new trees if it should not rain for stretches it's very important to water the trees for the first 2 years. WE look forward to your continued progress at your beautiful new homestead. TY for your vlogging often for us, we are very happy to see your family's settling in & making all the improvements & your piggies multiplying!!
I totally understand up late every time I say I’m going to bed early
I know the sacrifice of putting out content for us and I for one appreciate your efforts. I really look forward to your videos. Thank you!
"Just in case you get 40 Cornish Cross chickens ...it could happen" LOL. Jason & his sense of humor...emergency 40 Cornish Cross!
“Turn someday into today”. That a great looking chicken tractor. Keep pushing forward. Stay busy many blessings from our homestead to yours.
Hey Jason, we find great success with turkeys by putting a couple baby chicks in with them. Turkeys need the chicks to teach them to eat & drink.
Thank you so very much! This is just what I needed. A friend with a sudden health issue gave me his flock of 50 birds. And I am scrambling to figure out housing. This will work out great.
This time of the year I call: Chicken time...wait to lock them up until get a bit dark. All look great Jason and Lorraine.
I say that every night, too. Then it's 11 o'clock and I'm still watching your videos.
I love the idea of your chicken tractor, I’m going to share this to see if I can get one made . I already have the hard wear cloth back from a few years ago, just like you !
Enjoyed your video! My husband says, “you are informative and don’t waste time! Your story moves along!!”
Have a nice evening; go to bed early! Ha!!

Growing is a good thing! By the time fall gets to your new home you won't even remember not living there. God bless and keep growing.
Sorry but I for one am so glad you stay up to edit. I just love watching your farm progress

So much improvement in such a short time! The hard work is showing.

You are so good at buiding stuff Jason! Well done. Blessings from TN

I was wondering what you were going to put the turkeys in. The hardware cloth was an excellent investment especially during these times.
That chicken tractor looks great and easy to move. Love that!
Jason…you make it look so easy! Made it pretty also! Love watching your videos.
You are so smart Jason!!
I like what you guys are doing. Fun to watch you guys and that is a big transition to make from properties. Keep up the good work and go to bed early!
Nice that the video is not in reverse view. Makes a difference.
The portable coops look great! I agree with you, they need to look nice! Good to see you guys! Yah I go to sleep late and every day I say it's going to be earlier and still 1:30am comes around ....makes me so mad.😂 I don't learn! 🤗🤗💜🤗🤗
I like the actual handles your portable chicken coup designs are starting to have.

Yeah, but Ben never had a youtube channel! 🙃
@@SowtheLand Oh so very true LOL 😃😃😃..
Jason, go to bed! Nice chicken tractors. Very smart to purchase a bunch of hardware cloth just in case you need it. And you need it, lol.
Thanks for the video and showing the ease of making the mobile chicken coops
