Today on JD Cars we’re installing interior ambient light strips in the BMW F30. These ambient lighting strips are simply made of ABS plastic which redirects the existing ambient lighting to form a much brighter, sharper line of light. Yeah I don’t like the lights on my cluster to be bright when I’m driving at night so I turn it down but I like to turn the ambient lights up so sometimes I just deal with the bright lights

Do l need to remove an old strip before l proceed with a new one, or l just pop a new one in on the top of old one?
I have f30, 318d and i love BMW
I fitted these a year ago but as bmw only use a light tube the effect is limited. Now swapped out for led strip and the difference is huge. Pain in the balls to fit but well worth the effort for the improved look.

Where can I find these for a 2013 BMW 750Li?
It appeared to no longer illuminate the handles (which is the purpose of the ambient lighting at the doors). Does it actually reduce the amount of light on the handles?
the point of the ambient lights is to have a comforting glow at night to add to the vibe of the night drives, bmw themselves admitted that the light was too dim and later on fixed it in the next generation bmw

I have the same problem with my 15 Lincoln MKZ.
The ambient light is very low even in the night. is there a strip for my Lincoln? I've been looking in ebay but don't know if is the right one.
I don't believe they make strips for the Lincoln, but you could perhaps try using these ones for BMW. They might just not fit 100%

I have yet to ceramic coat them, but I’ll probably do that soon! I’ll make some videos!

bought some these not to happy, they are a lot dimmer than what i want. I was hoping for much brighter got it turned all the way up

I believe so, but the strips may be a little short for the 4 series
excuse me for asking, what is F30? Is it BMW 320i model or which model car
F30 is the chassis code-- for the 3 series
I have mine on my 2018 320d however there dull as hell, you can barely see them...
invest in bimmer code. u can brighten them up more than your allowed to in ur brightness settings

Nope I've looked, $60 is steep but that seems like the standard price
These would cost less than 2$ in ABS filaments if you were to 3Dprint it yourself. The price is just extremely ridiculous. And the fact that they are also 3d printed just make this the worst possible purchase. I can just simple prototype a few times and still get it extremely cheaper than this thing. I could even make it thinner or more transparent if I wanted to. This is just ridiculous.

I bought these for my f36. They won't stay in place. On the other hand: it did damage the leather. If that's what you're looking for, go ahead and buy this.

I don't think the e92 has interior lighting like that. I know in my e90, I just have it up by the dome lights, and then in a few little pockets, but not a whole strip on the door
