The animation style of "The Cosmic Eye" looked incredibly familiar to me. It reminded me greatly of the opening animation to "Watership Down", another film that can be correctly attributed to as being a source of Nightmare Fuel. Further research showed that John Hubley had originally been the Director of "Watership Down" and the intro to the film was possibly animated by him.
He also glossed over it in the animation lookback. But hey, at least it was an honorable Mention. Plus it’s debatable if it counts as a good movie so I think that’s why it wasn’t on the list.

I expected "The Treasure Planet" to show up on this list, but I'm glad it didn't cuz that "movie" was an imcomprehensible and senseless splat of nightmare fuel and LSD. XD
Personal honorable mention: Treasure Planet. Robert Lewis Stevenson has become one of the most influential novelists of history. His books are to other writers what Dark Souls is to other game makers; lots of people have tried to make their own version. Just take a look at Jekyll and Hyde. Not only have people tried to modernize the stories, but in some cases, futurize them. For example, Treasure Planet. Instead of a secret collection of gold hidden in an island, there is a thousand worlds worth of plunder within the center of a whole planet, and Jim Hawkins wants the money to support his struggling mother. Spaceships designed like pirate ships, a multitude of aliens, and an over ambitious budget is one thing, but there is another movie with that title, and one from the late 80s. Not to say Disney ripped off that movie, as it is very different. After all, Disney's version didn't have a samba dance, an opera number, and a midi rendition of Ode to Joy. The animation is jankier than South Park, they go back in time to briefly live out the source material, and they go through a haunted house filled with... sirens and amputee gorgons. All for a treasure which is actually a terraformer filled with life. So apparently it eventually also became Titan AE. Some of that life includes blackface and Mickey Mouse. While not a good movie per se, it to me is an entertainingly bad movie. I am sure you can have a Saberspark style get-together and just laugh about what the fridge is going on while simultaneously wondering what the hell is up with it. Edit: Here's a weird fun fact for you: the guy who made The Treasure Planet would later work on Dexter's Lab.
There was a remake of Yellow Submarine planned. It was made by using Motion Capture so all the weird characters and creatures looked like something straight out of a sci fi horror movie, but luckily the movie got cancelled.
This has got to be one of your greatest achievements! I really love the technics you did to make this video fun and wild! I want to say that you did a very awesome job at making this, and I’m very proud and happy for you!

I am a Banana that line is hilarious
I grew up with a weird one called The Elm chanted Forest. I only recently found out the name of the cartoon. The tape we had it on had cut off the introduction to the show. For some reason the villain of the cartoon heated beavers. And the whole thing was very surreal.
That's also another weird Disney movie. And it has one sequel called "The Magic Hats to the Rescue" (1990.)
Me too
Nice logo for the top 10. Looks really cool
Yep that's not his tail
IT'S HIS BA-26:36
18:12 I think that's some Boulder or rock that can move.
I can think of dozens of possible degenerative brain diseases that could be the one in "It's such a Beautiful day", including Lewy body dementia, the disease that killed Robin Williams (yes he technically committed suicide, but he only did so because of the disease)
I still want to see a part 2 for bad movies.
"no japanese films..."
Nawwww. :(
"... because that would be cheating. "
Fair enough. :)
The Three Caballeros is my favorite Disney movie
The three caballeros have a Saturday morning animated series on Disney XD.
I was surprised Wizards (1977) and Heavy Metal ( 1981) were not included
You should be proud of this
Son of the White Mare looks absolutely beautiful! If I can find it anywhere I’ll be sure to give it a watch.
I will always renember panchito’s opening song
13:31 He looks like Federico, the father of Quico in El Chavo del 8
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Adrian Roman it's a mexican tv show. It is one of the most popular comedies in Latín Spanish
@@yakunohayashi9653 i know is my favorite tv show
If you ask me, one of the weirdest things I’ve seen in animation is the restaurant scene in Dr Seuss’ The Grinch Grinches the Cat in the Hat
(Yes I know it’s only a half hour long, but still)
Not gonna lie, that "sense of reality" bit definitely made me think something was wrong with my headphones at first.
Fantastic Planet?!
I remember that film! Even now I still can't understand what they're saying, even in English.
Its French.
Okay but at some point you have to do a full review of It’s Such a Beautiful Day.
He technically already did
@@sonicfanboy3375 i mean a proper review, not just a snippet
is there going to be a jim henson animation lookback
