The creator probably didn't expect you to go on the offensive this fast. They probably turtled to the point where they could win with low risk, and that's where the 1M rep came in play.
The Scenario Creator is sooooooo limiting that rollout Initiatives (like those sandbags) can't even increase the strength. Maybe Zone Security adds to that, but just combat strength isn't adjustable.
Heyo! Just a quick notice. At 11:09 you were asking if the strength values have a breakdown. While you unfortunately dont get exact numbers there are a couple of things to note on that screen 1) Any security initiative slows takeover and aids your troops - Shown as a %, every 100% / every vanilla initiative = 1 insurgent killed on destruction 2) The lower your Local Support Level the more insurgent capability gain upon takeover - Also happens with Population % 3) More dense zones such as Urban Zones or High Pop zones are more likely to trigger the Civilian Death event on airstrikes 4) Finally the main point, right next to the "Security Report" You have a bunch of icons that indicate different effects on the zone. You can hover over them for details but they are fairly straightforward imo. You can glance through them to see why your soldier strength is high / insurgency have guts of steel Edit: Forgot to add that Hostility also adds to effect 2. I could be very wrong about this but i doubt it
Don't get why it took Pravus so long to go for tanks...would have made it so much easier to go on the attack earlier. There scenario looks fun with a bit of work, the biggest problem is that it's not clear what a lot of initiatives do.
It likely has to do with the fact he is an engineer. In the USA the failure rate for engineering students is very high by design, I belive the failure rate for 1st year students is something like 85%, as part of the training is reinforcing the idea that there are no small mistakes as in the real world it can have disastrous consequences. IE the 280 million dollar Mars probe that was destroyed because the flight data was originally measured in feet but later was programed into the lander in meters so instead of a gentile landing the thing cratered the martian surface. Just because somebody didn't notice the Ft. At the end of something as apposed to a M. Details matter.
i tried it on mega brutal and it was way much fun than playing on normal like cowards xdxdxd . try it once offline and u find the difference u coward xd jk xd

''I have no idea what's in there'' That's exactly what somebody who knows what's in Area 51 is, would say!

Why does Pravus point out the errors in grammar everywhere he notice it? Isnt the game and the effort more important?
