"I'm doing this, ..cause I'm still alive".
👍 Rock on 🙂.

As a solo female traveler, I hope you have some form of personal protection for when you’re parked in remote areas and while hiking. And I would suggest keeping your key fob inside a Faraday pouch/bag; it’s a key fob protector that blocks RFID signals. I just want you to have safe travels.😊
As a retired Security Officer, please always be aware of your surroundings and carry some means of personal protection. Never disclose your location or future location. 😊
all she needs for protection is that burnt air fried pizza, that would scare anybody away.😂
Because you’re still alive is the best reason to do anything. 😊
one of the prettiest ladies on YT for sure
NOT ONLY PRETTY BUT VERY CLASSY
Hey hang on, what's all this 'One of...' nonsense, ha ha ha!
I don’t know why I got so much anxiety seeing you alone walking to take a shower in the woods. Please, please stay safe. You seem really kind and sweet. Since you’re from Florida, I hope you have a pew pew with you. And also, definitely don’t say where you are or where you’re going. Sorry, I’m so paranoid 😂. Also, great/beautiful build.
I lost my wife this year and decided to start looking for a van and get out there. Thanks for your inspiration!
Sorry for your loss Mike. Keeping our mind busy helps out so much. God Bless you. :)
Bless you and your family. Sorry to about your loss. I am sure she will be happy to see you and watch over you as you pursue your own van life journey.
I am still alive and not give up to enjoy
nature even alone. I will pick up the
airstream interstate 19 in Jan. By watching this lady that make me felling strong and I can do too.
You probably already know, but when hiking always carrie a small survival pack, water food, cellphone, maybe even GPS first aid kit you never know when our in the woods. . Keep up the great videos
That's great advice. You should be a life coach.
@@joec.4238 are you talking with me or with the GPS guy? Greetings
@@JCb-u6v The GPS guy, although it was meant sarcastically. Your advice is spot on.
@@JCb-u6vIt’s NOT fear it’s preparation and he is 100% correct.
@@MIAMIC70 fear...........low frequency.....I have done 44 countries 15 of them by bicycle with a compass....what GPS are you talking about?.... Rumania, Kosovo,,Etc... with a 20e tent... nothing happened....I still here....that advises are based on fear..... preparing is based on fear in case something happens......my personal advise!! Go with the flow, enjoy the trip and simply........ TRUST.... EVERYTHING WILL MATERIALIZE WELL, IF THINK AND ACT WELL............... best regards
You have a nice little setup young lady. I have been doing part time van life for about three and a half years now. I'm also a professional commercial truck driver. It's always nice to see people out in and about. Living and enjoying life. Keep up the great work. Cheyenne.
You have a very peaceful temperament
She has a Spanish accent. Cuban?
Check that… Elisa says she Bolivian 🇧🇴….
You find the most scenic places to camp ! Your van build came out very nice.
Congratulations on your build and your 1st week on the road, looking good.
Thanks!
Thank you very very much! I really appreciate your support 💕
Her soft voice is very soothing and sweet.
Hey Elisa, you truly inspire me to get outside and explore America. I recently turned 47 years old and being single has its on challenges when doing things. So here is a big thank you for being you! XxXx ❤
Thank you Randall! 47 is young :)
At 60, I'm glad that I went out exploring America and other countries in my younger years. Even though I still have pretty good health and have a long list of places I haven't seen yet, one thing I don't have is regrets.
Do what you can while you can is my philosophy and it has worked out pretty well so far..
This awesome to see ladies in there mid 40s living on the road. Im turning 47 this weekend from Massachusetts. Love your video
I really enjoy your videos and especially when you explain why you’re doing this on your comment was because you’re alive that was the greatest answer a person could hear ❤
How exciting! Your first week of van life. I'm sure you will never forget it. 😊
I love your van! Good for you in keeping fit. Thanks for taking us along.
I love this, so unpretentious, just simple and pleasant to watch. You appear so relaxed and free of expectations. I'm already feeling like I could do this myself. Thanks for taking me along. ❤
Gorgeous, its nice to see a Lady making great video's about van life. It's also great that you don't make it about pouting and posing to the camera's like some certain channels do. Stay safe .
I have enjoyed watching your channel as you built out your van. Now that you’ve transitioned to getting out and enjoying the adventures. Take your time to develop your style.
Tell your story, meet new people, explore new places, but most of all… live the dream you envisioned when this journey started!
Hi, hope all is well and you’re having fun with what you do. You’re a very interesting person, I’ve watched many videos and have met several people in this life…. I have to say you keep me watching more of your videos. You have a beautiful soul, that is more than evident.
The more I watch your videos, the more I realise you have created the almost perfect build for a solo traveller. They say elegance is the blend of function and form and I reckon you've absolutely nailed it so this is advanced notice that I am going to pinch your design and configuration. 😎😏
Many of us have a sort of love-hate relationship with cooking. The ability to clean up well after the chef has worked his or her magic is a vastly underrated skill! So glad you're sharing your travels, Elisa--all good things to you!
I can so appreciate your journey as I never really started travelling until I was 45 . Enjoy it all , and do it because you’re still alive and able . One can never take away the beautiful adventures you’ll have along the way !
Hi Elisa! I love that line, "your life was going to be short anyways." 😆🦟
Thank you Francisco! I hope you're having a nice week :)
Congratulations for reaching this milestone with your first 'shakedown' road trip and taking us along for the ride. It's a great feeling getting outdoors and I wish you safe and fun travels ✨🇦🇺
Congratulations on your official first week. I'm so glad you're going to see your family that's always nice when you have a chance. Every time you want to add something to your van just write it down so you can remember it later
Thank you for inviting us 😊.
God bless you on your wonderful adventures.
Florida & Maine is my next trip in my mini van . God willing, like you said, one life to live enjoy it.
Keep you in my prayers.
I love how at the end when you’re making a salad you mentioned how it’s not entertaining…that was best. Those little moments where your character and mannerisms come through are awesome. 👏🏽😊
I love how mindful you are. Caring about the mosquito's feelings over having its short life shortened is one example. Worrying about whether it is allowed to fill your water tank at the park is another (I'm pretty sure it is). Pointing out the trash left behind by the water source is a third. If I had to bet, I'd bet that you picked up some of it.
You're obviously high quality.
Thank you 🙂
What a great adventure! I’m sure you’re very proud of all your planning and great craftsmanship! Even your video editing is top notch. I hope you enjoy all your explorations!
This week marks a year that Ive been living in my Iron Horse . Purchased in Alabama last October I’ve been in at least 12 states and Canada 🇨🇦 spending the last 4 months on my Northern route. I found that there is definitely a learning curve when one embarks on living a Nomadic life style. I would say the most important lesson for me is a higher level of awareness of your immediate environment ..taking extra precautions at gas/travel stops (being followed) and in places you want to park for the night , especially if you are en route or it’s getting dark and you want to hunker down for the night. I’ve left two areas where I was solo camped and drug dealers came and parked behind me turning off their lights . I also pack a fire arm and know how to use it.
Glad to finally see you a road trip. The van looks great, your first trip is always a shake down cruise while you figure out what you need to get by. Best of luck, and hope you can see the leaves changes in the NE.
We should never make any excuses for who we are. Right on! Your van looks like a very peaceful place to be in!
you've quickly become a favorite!
I'm glad you got out of FL! Helene hit hard. Now Milton...I may join you in Maine!
Thank you for your beautiful content!
Fl. reside here. Milton's gonna be a lot worst than Helene!
@@onlyjesussaves840Seriously doubt that.
@@onlyjesussaves840 then or than ?
@@lhollybow Both, Helene already hit, & Milton's gonna be worst.
@@MIAMIC70 Sure hope you're right! We barely got anything from Helene here, only got a tropical storm from it here, but Milton's heading right for us here in Tampa bay & It's a cat 3. So it's gonna be much worst for our area.
I have been following you from the beginning. You have done an amazing job and should feel proud of your accomplishments. Good luck in your journey.
You're very natural and an inspiration to others. Lovely voice and accent !
You are wonderfully articulate in talking about your little home on wheels. Your van is a very beautiful and functional and, I think, quite efficient, except for the water heater that uses a bit of battery power. Happy travels and enjoy your beautiful home on wheels.
Amazing amor.
Safe travels and I hope each and every day is filled with peace and love. Enjoy this journey and "don't blink".
YES you are alive and your soul is so beautiful. 💝
Well done with the van conversion. Really enjoying your channel. Best wishes from England!
I'm excited to see that you're on the road after all of the hard work of building the van. I have been with you since day one and now your first season traveling. Wow great job.👍❤
Love your channel! Love your content and what you’re doing. You’re right in my backyard; and I have spent peaceful time on that little “beach” in Elk Neck. Seeing you there where I was just a few weeks ago, makes me realize I am also living this wonderful adventure dream that I used to only watch on TH-cam 😅. Thank you for sharing
That is such a beautiful little beach! Lucky you being close to it :)
Love what you’re doing. Do it while you can, is what I kept telling myself as we climbed through the Colorado Rockies last week.
With much respect, I admire your life, it's amazing, I also love hiking and camping. I hope you continue your adventure, really, thank you for sharing.
Amazing, i came across your channel when you first got the van and start to build it from scratch. Now it's all finished and enjoying the van life. Have fun!
Glad you are travelling to New England in the fall. Beautiful country this time of year!
Bought a Sprinter this summer and conversion ideas are brewing. Your build is inspiring. Thanks for the comprehensive list of items! Yes the first trips are when you find out what is necessary/redundant.
Lovin' the more frequent uploads (but no pressure)!
The fun thing about moving onto the road, is that everyday there something new to learn. Have fun.
i find it most satisfying, when hard work pays off from a project. looks very peaceful in your van, i'm very happy for you! also.... your accent is amazing !
43 with a son at MIT? You did something right💪🏽👊🏽
Elisa, I’m new to your channel but really enjoy seeing your adventure. I’m retired; have a home in SoCal but have been traveling North America the past few years in my van as well. So many tips I can offer, but honestly you are doing a great job and I fear being presumptuous. Much like you, water is always top of mind. As such, I always keep a supply of bottled water on hand in case I get stuck in one place for an extended time due to weather. Watching the weather and making sure I ALWAYS have water are my two biggest priorities. Look forward to your next video,,,thank you for sharing.
Nice video, I like the separation between the front seats and the back.
Would be nice to see some regional art galleries where your heading ✌️
So glad you are on the road and WE are enjoying the journey. You must be one proud Mama with a Son at MIT. Looking forward to your upcoming adventures.
Because I'm still alive, I love that. Hopefully, you have some kind of personal protection out there on the road alone, especially when hiking in the woods off the beaten path if you will. You can definitely see the awkwardness, but you'll get it down before long it will come naturally. Stay safe out there, beautiful
Thank for the personal journey, I have been watching for a long timr and still get excited when I see a new video.
It is a nice thing to see you now enjoying your plan to travel and visit your family and go to different places. Thank you for sharing your story, and please don't overdo it when driving, take breaks, and be safe and enjoy venture. 😊
A Class A RV'er in a Class B RV. Been watching you since the beginning and everything is so tastefully done. Incredible talent and you deserve much success. Be safe out there and thanks for sharing your time and insights.
Glad to see you enjoying the fruits of your labor!
So happy for you! Keep doing it! And you look amazing can’t say you are your age. And all the best for your son (you must be very proud)!
Thanks for taking us on your travels. Your van looks soooo nice. Great to see that your visiting family. Cant wait for more adventures with you. Please be safe, tk care 😎
❤
A really nice van, enjoy your travels, be safe🙏🏻
Elisa....you are adorable! Love your character and stylish ways....the pizza & mosquito! LOL Really enjoy your videos and looking forward to your next one! Be safe and as always....Besitos!!
Thanks for letting me join you on your new adventure. You really show what Van life is like. Please keep going with these videos as you travel.Watching from 100 degree Las Vegas.
I'm happy that you're on the road traveling now. You'll figure details out as you go.
I think it is awesome that you built the van by yourself! Being by yourself I hope you get a firearm or a big enough dog while you go to camp out. Take care
Thanks for sharing. I'm new to your channel and appreciate you taking the time to share your journey. As a behavioral health/substance use disorders therapist/clinical director. I have traveled to the different state were I'm licensed to practice and provide clinical supervision to all clinical therapist. But what I have enjoyed is the travel to these many states. More importantly stopping at the rest stops, walmart, or were ever I can get some sleep or rest. Even though I could rent a hotel I find it more interesting sleeping in my car and listening to the music in the car.
Again, thank you for
sharing!
Great job on the van build Elise! I’m happy for you that you finally got out to explore. Looking forward to the next video 😊
Yes!!! Another Great Video 👍 Great content, keep up the great work!
Good job on the van build!! You've done very well at using space and being able to enjoy some real comforts on the road. I want one. ❤️
Yes, you did a great job on the van. And, you're very pretty ! Thought you were in your twenties. It pays to keep fit. I'm thinking of buying a van myself. So, your video is an inspiration. Stay safe and enjoy your travels.
Great video and a exciting way to get to see how you getting on into your van.
Discover how you will upgrade your van with smart solutions to get it be more practical and personal too you.
I'm sitting in my caravan after over a year and still having ideas on smart solutions.
It is the small thing that makes it so great.
Great hiking place and the beach is very nice.
Drive safety 😊❤
Wow a beautiful young 43, I was that age just the other day then 50 flew past and now I'm waiting for 70, so enjoy while you can. I'm enjoying this trip so far, keep on motoring..
Your home looks beautiful. You definitely made it look cozy. My 5 year plan will be to do what you have done and get on the road in my very own van. Felicidades y espero que te diviertas en Maine. Please dont forget to document your journey.
You've come a long way from the car camping days! Looking forward to your travels across the country.
Oh nd yeh, glad to see you are taking precautions to not have passerby's see what is in your van. It looks like you are paying attention to your surroundings and doing everything you can to be safe!
I agree, i like to eat and clean but cooking is stressful. Lol Thanks for encouraging me to buy that fishing boat ive been wanting, because im alive! You did an awesome job on your van. Safe travels. 😊❤
Hi Elisa, 🎉 43, wow can’t believe it, such a beautiful young lady in her fabulous self built van, so proud of you, good luck with your future adventures, keep the vlogs coming, can’t wait, Tony xx 🇬🇧
Just found your channel. As a middle-aged guy in South Florida with family in Maryland, Canada and other states, just love seeing someone living and traveling from Florida. Congratulations on your son being admitted to MIT, great school and great parent. Please remember to get any Plan B and C and vaccines etc well before year end. And things for your personal safety but remember if going to Canada (before the heavy snows in Jan onwards) they don’t allow some safety items.
What a sweet, cozy smile! Lovely too!
I'm so happy for your travels to begin!!!
When you hook up a white water hose to fill your tank, it's best to use a water filter (walmart has them, back in the RV department )
No matter where or what state your in, please carry bear spray on your walks with your!!! Sprays 20 feet. I'm happy to see you not wearing a head set covering your ears!! At least you can listen to your immediate area. Your personal safty comes first!!
Take it from me, 40 year retired policeofficer. It is legal to carry bear spray in the continental United States. Enjoy your adventures. Toledo 💙
I think you’ve got the van really organized. Plus your woman’s touch makes it look like a home.
I'm happy to see you on the road again. Be safe.
All the places that you have been looks very beautiful. You will figure it out as you go. Be careful, drive careful, travel safely.
Glad to see you enjoying the van! Got one last trip myself before the weather starts turning colder! Enjoy the fall colors on your way to Maine, was there just a couple months ago ! Safe travels!
Hi Elisa! Get yourself some more chips... And congratulations to you and your son! MIT is awesome. What's he majoring in? Oh, and where is bunny?
Thank you so much for your support! He's majoring in mechanical engineering :)
Glad to see the Shakedown Cruise is under way. Nothing like figuring what works and what doesn't. Maybe add some descriptions of where you stay, the first place was quite nice with the tree growth,( I understand the need to protect your location from the bad elements, if your are posting videos a week or two later it shouldn't be an issue). There's an app called Plant Net that can help determine what trees, flora or fruit you are looking at.Looking forward to the Maine footage. Approaching 50k subs.
You're right! Thank you. The one with the nice trees was at Cliffs of the Neuse State Park in NC. They have a nice and affordable campground. Then I also stayed at Elk Neck State park in Maryland. Also pretty nice :)
I'd like to see you devote more time to discoveries of what you like about the way you built your beautiful van, and what shortcomings are coming up (like when you noted you needed a hook for your keys)...and what you might be planning to alter. And then we can look forward to watching videos of you doing the alterations.
I’m so happy that you’re now able to enjoy the fruits of your labor. It must be a very rewarding feeling. And… single leg squats. VERY impressive. Stay safe and enjoy being alive. You earned it.
You've many admirers, Elisa! Love how brave you've been to take on your van build and courageous enough to follow where your heart and spirit lead you. If you're heading to central New Mexico on one of your journeys would love to meet you and share some interesting places. I car camp in my RAV4 😄. Burt...
How are you enjoying van life so far? Your van is amazing. Can’t wait to see more adventures !❤
Hey Elisa, much respect for choosing this way of life and thanks for sharing it (secretly I wish I could share it with you over there in the beautiful US nature). I followed some of your "colleagues" van life people, but your channel is the most down to earth channel without the "look how important I am" kind of vibe. I wonder what your son thinks of this way of life. You are a beautiful woman pur sang. Nature life fits you well. A lot of adventures coming your way. Good luck from the Netherlands.
Ever consider keyless entry on your vehicle (pushbutton pad to unlock your door)? It would be scary to be out in the middle of nowhere and accidentally lock yourself out of your home on wheels. I binge watched your whole van build the other day😂. Look forward to you sharing your adventures! Thank you .
I've been watching your videos you did a hell of a good job on your van nice-looking how you got to set up and he was talking about your age girl you don't look like you're 43 years old all this time I thought you was younger just keep up the good work and keep putting them good videos out God bless you
Thanks for sharing your age and status. Glad your opening up more. Love your videos and look forward to seeing more!
Love Elk Neck state park and have sat on the beach at that marina many times.
Enjoy your journey and have a blast.
You did a fantastic job on your van. Good for you. It was fun watching you build it out. :)
I agree cooking is not for everyone people oh just this or that its easy , just do you. Your videos are so enjoyable, calm and easy great job thank you.
I like the way you are doing your video showing how the day to day life is like full time rv life. And it doesn’t hurt that you are stunningly beautiful. I am to old for you at 58 but I can appreciate beautiful. I am planning to start my rv life in about 9 months (I am retiring then). Thanks for sharing.
