Or make that 2nd toe kick drawer shorter (not as deep). Maine is beautiful. I am enjoying you traveling now, after watching every one of your "build" videos. Always stay safe!!!
I'm a new subscriber and finding your video's very relaxing and inspiring. I am an Englishman now living in Norway , just to say we get many Americans here , also with campers ( hired once they get here ) . In Norway camping is part of the culture , camping vehicles are welcome everywhere, and if parks are full whenever your near , you a free to park up anywhere and can stay for 2 days free. The big plus is , yoh will NEVER get any bother , no aggressive people , no litter , just pure , beeeeeautiful scenery, lakes , fjords and moutains . Happy , safe camping life . Like the music too . ❤
With your kick drawer issue, easy fix. Build your drawer, slide it up to the pipe, mark where the pipe is and width. Add a little wiggle space side to side, cut the drawer floor as far as needed, and a grove is needed for it to close. You can add a molding around that cuttout to keep anything from falling into that cutout area. My one bathroom sink cabinet drawer utilizes this exact method. Also, the second you put on the "bill" toque, I knew it was for you, and you made me smile when you did actually buy it ! Cheers from snowy Canada!
As a person who lives in the Tampa Fl area, what the person saying about hurricanes and losing our homes is the truth. It’s not easy to deal with anymore. The last 2 storms we just had were life changing for many of us. I was lucky but many were not. Maine has been on my short list of places to visit. Thanks for taking us along 😊
Glad you found a quiet spot. Bar Harbor is insane when it's tourist season. The great thing about Maine is that it has more miles of seacoast than the entirety of the rest of the Atlantic coast of the US. So there's almost always a spot to enjoy in quiet.
Your van is absolutely perfect. I am amazed at almost everything in life and look at so many products and think "How is it possible to make such a nice thing and with so much perfection". It's the way I think of your van. I've watched you build it and think you are a genius at doing it. It takes so much knowledge and skill that I am in awe. You could write a book on how to do it. I would be thrilled to have one just like it.
Glad to see you are visiting my area of the world. If you're still here in February I'll be totally impressed lol, have fun and check out Belfast on your way back I think you'll like it.
What a great time of the year to be in Maine! Weather, leaves changing, maybe you'll get lucky and get some snow.Paint that section a dark accent color instead of stick on tiles. You are getting sponsors, big step. Almost halfway to 100k, keep going. If you are lonely you'll have to figure out how to bring Bunny with you on your excursions. That was the hat that suited you best.
Hello Elisa, when I get the notice that you’ve uploaded another video I eagerly tap play right away. 😊. On your 2nd toe kick drawer, can you maybe make it a bit shorter so as to avoid hitting the drain pipe? Great video and you are lovely as ever. I’m willing to bet that everyone you encountered in your work environment, you lifted their hearts ❤ that day. Travel safe, til we see in your next video adventure. 😊
I’m glad you’re enjoying the crispy cool weather in cozy Maine. Thanks for taking the time to do such a great job editing your adventure. I truly felt I was there experiencing the trails, campfire and shopping too. Thumbs up on the hat selection. I can’t wait for what comes next. I’ll have to check out the AG1.
When you park, look for a space where you can drive through the first space and then into the second. Then, when you are leaving you can drive straight out. Hope that makes sense. :)
Hi Elise, cute new hat. Maybe make the sink drawer shorter instead of so deep like the other drawer. Great job on the van. Funny how once ur living in it every day, you figure out things that you would change. Love to take you around and show you my town of Scranton,Pa on ur way back to Florida. Great dinner and entertainment town. 🎉 Stay safe Elise 🤗😘
8:20 I've been building a 136" ProMaster and I totally agree about the driving aspect. Big vehicles stress me out lol. There's been several situations already where I either couldn't have done a turnaround or parked in a small dispersed site if I had the larger 159"wb. That said, I obviously lose some options for my layout, for example the wet bath that you have.
Nice video. Maine gets pretty cold in the winter, but it's really nice in the fall. I had to chuckle about the way you recorded the man at the laundromat. Great show!
Elisa you are amazing. Love the video and your eyes are just gorgeous. Good news 📰 we are finally getting cooler temp in Florida. 70s during mid day. Love your videos always. My best to your family. Waiting for the next show 😂
That was really nice! I love the secret drawer. I like your gentle personality. Happy adventures to you. I’m not sure when you left Florida, but you sure avoided the weather issues down there.
Glad you're getting to see some of Down East Maine. I love it here been here all my life. I am in Machias. You should keep heading east and check out Eastport.
There's a great restaurant in Ellsworth called Helens. Great seafood combination plate and homemade blueberry pie. We went there 65 years ago and again 7 years ago because I grew up near Bangor
Another great video. Thank you for bringing us along. That hat is very cute on you. Helpful hint maybe. My rig is a little bigger and longer than yours. I can normally park in the back row and back in. I normally have enough clearance to get the rear of the rig over the grassy area with my back tires close to the end of the spot. This way I only take up one space. Now if I am in a parking lot like a Walmart I just park in out of the way places and take two spots. The walk does me good.
Glad to see you are posting more. I hope you are happy in your adventures, I would expect it to be lonely at times. It would be nice sharing with a partner. Stay beautiful and true at heart. 🥰🌹Hurry up with the next one already.
If it were me, I would have removed a section of the toe kick drawer so it "wraps around" the drain pipe. All that takes is a saw, some time, and 3 small pieces of wood (and something to fasten them) to make walls around the cutout to keep things from falling out. It's better to have 95% of a drawer than no drawer at all.
Cute! In Europe, vans like yours are Fiat Ducato or Citroen Jumper or Peugeot Boxer. All this is the same and most popular for self made campers. Anyway, I like your videos and your stories very much! Congratulations!
Just a thought about your second toe-kick door: I've seen people just make the drawer shorter, or even make a u-shaped cutout in the drawer, to accommodate the plumbing that would otherwise be in the way.
you'll break in those new hiking boots much quicker when you hear things in the forest at night.....😄.............great quality vids...👍....if you see any moose...don't forget to wave.
Regarding the missing tow-kick drawer, it seems to me that the drainpipe sits far enough towards the back that you could still have a sizable drawer (about 80% of the original size) ending at the pipe. If this isn't enough, you could build an indenture, splitting just the back section, so the pipe would not be an issue. Don't get me wrong, as I offer this feedback, I'm totally amazed at what you've done to what was originally a plain cargo van.
Hello, love your videos! You might be able to install the under the sink drawer and still use it if you cut a section in the back of it. It will clear the drainage pipe. Also, it’s easier to park big vans or trucks rear first. Try it, it is easier than what it seems. You sound just like your mom, so cute! 😊Saludos!
Loving the journeys and visuals Elisa. You’re doing some mileage! Interesting to hear your thoughts about meeting family etc. I’ve done a lot of solo travelling over the years and the one thing I’ve noticed in recent years is my want to share the incredible experiences. At first I wasn’t too bothered but I think it makes a big difference. Solo and freedom is great but companionship is also important. Happy Travels 😊
The pharmacy in the hospital where I work is in the middle of the building behind two key card and combination locked doors. The only light is artificial. I can see why you'd want to escape to van life! 😊
Another great video, you have a lovely family. That hat looks nice on you. I don't think adding all that tile will look very good. You will loose the contrast of the backsplash. Maybe pick a light complimentary color to paint the walls. As for the second kick drawer, you could make it not as deep or cut a groove for the pipe to slide in. Use the drawer for a dust broom and pan since it's close to the door. Oh, and please shake out the door mat more often 😉❤
As beautiful as the scenery is, you're beauty is still breathtaking. You seem like you have such a peaceful, kind soul. Perfect pick with the hat, it looks amazing on you!
Elisa, you and that little vacuum go together like peas and carrots 😄 By the way, I love the beanie!!! Maine is such a beautiful place, and what a great way to end the video with good vibes and a campfire... Which was preceded by a harrowing walk through the dark woods, what was that noise? "Honestly, I don't want to know". Lol, you crack me up.
Consider riding the Carriage Trails in Acadia before you leave the region. I did so today and not much of a crowd. Possibly because peak foliage season has passed?
FYI, Do a cut out around the drain in the floor for the kick draw and you would still be able to have the draw... Just Say-in.... Think outside the Box... Good Luck with everything.... 😘💞✌🏾🤟🏾👍🏾
Hello Beautiful Elisa as thank you once again for sharing your journey with us and the beauty of which you see as you travel. Thank you also for sharing the heart and love of which shines from the beauty worth and love of which heaven as created you to be. As I see some are talking about our Florida Hurricanes to which yes it's a challenge living in Florida and facing the hurricanes which these last ones have been a challenge for where I am as we've had Idalia, Debby and Helene hit our area three times now and personally I hope we've seen the last of them for the year and for a few more years to come. As though thankfully I've only had minor damage I am tired of cleaning up limbs that my big oaks that once were my shade are pretty much thinned out now and Helene left me some big ones that has made it a chore to clean up being its just me doing the work. Which is what most everyone does as we are more a rural area and used to handling things as these for ourselves but with many appreciate the help we receive especially those who have had major impacts and may have lost everything as these hurricanes came with a bigger punch than we've seen in years. But we don't give up and come together and slowly rebuild. For our costal areas have really been impacted as some just was getting back to opening their businesses and now they are totally gone from Helene's impact and are having to rebuild from just a foundation in some cases or totally from scratch again. But that's the Florida life and I hope your having a great time beautiful Elisa and the family here in Florida is doing well after Milton which I think was more in their area. So be safe beautiful Elisa as its always a beautiful day to see what you have to share that with the tender sweet heart and love of which flows from the beauty worth and love of which shines so beautifully in the heavenly beautiful woman heaven has created you to be. Again thanks for sharing your beautiful journeys and looking forward to seeing the next one and if I may say please don't do anything to your lovely long hair as I see grays but it's so beautiful and I love when a woman sees knows and feels the beauty worth and love of which heaven has created her to be and just let her pure natural beauty worth and love shine in the beautiful woman heaven created her to be and just be that beautifully gorgeous woman heaven created her to naturally and purely be in the creation of the beauty worth and love of which she truly is and will forever be. Take care and be safe as you enjoy time with Sis, mom and brother in law. Ohh... ps don't let the things of the night that you hear frighten you as you are right as you may want to venture home in the daylight as were you are there is some that I myself don't want to see in the dark either. 🥰🥰🤗🤗❤❤🙏🙏
You can still have a toe kick drawer there. Just notch out for the pipe in the back, it’s a fairly easy modification. Love your Van Series by the way.
I was going to say the exact same thing!
Yup same..
Or make that 2nd toe kick drawer shorter (not as deep).

Cute hat on you, looks like it was made for you. Great choice. :)
You can still put a drawer under the sink cut out a slot for the drain it's done all the time for floating vanities in bathrooms
That's what I was thinking. She could also make a drawer that didn't extend all the way to the wall.
@@utubewillyman True.
Your filming and editing are progressing. Brava.
Love your van. Very nice. Being a photographer, a van would be wonderful to take photo trips in. Love the hat you bought. Have fun!
The pink and peach hat with the little tasseled threads looked really cute. The van is looking great! Stay safe out there.
Cute hat, looks like a good time, nice to see family. Thanks for sharing.

There is a book written about this type of New England farm house.
“Big House, Little House, Back House, Barn”

Dear Elise, some cameras on the outside of the Van will help you a lot with maneuvers.

Nice to finally be out using the van😁👍
You made every one of those hats look so cute… believe me, it’s not the hat 😉
I see you’re still enjoying all that Maine has to offer in the Fall 🤗
I need to travel to such regions. there isn't a thing called fall here in socal. it was 90 today
Love the hat you chose. I definitely would have chosen the same one for you
Just a thought about your second toe-kick door: I've seen people just make the drawer shorter, or even make a u-shaped cutout in the drawer, to accommodate the plumbing that would otherwise be in the way.

Oh, and please shake out the door mat more often 😉❤

the first hat perfect
Love the toe-kick drawer! How about a shorter one under the sink? BTW, it looks like adventuring agrees with you.
you can use the toe kick drawer if you just modify the drawer with a cutout for the drain.
Build a toe kick drawer with a cutout where the drain is.
Great video, hope I will meet someone special like you someday.
