If we use 2 motors on one drive, how should we enter motor parameters? shall we just add the currents and power ratings? And what the speed should probably be the same or average of two motors? Both the motors are identical.
Add currents, add powers, average cos fii and speed. If both motors are identical, then cos fii and speed should be the same. If load is same for both motors, then also vector control works with the setup. Two PM motors should not be used unless the load is always the same. In fan application two or more PM motors should work but not with conveyor application.
Is this the reason why our motors wont turn, yet the drive ramps up to about 5 or 6Hz and the current limit is maxed out and the drive is at 140%? You go to the motors and they sound as if they are turning but it's just 'noise' from the windings?
Program: On the computer side using ABB software --- DriveWindow Light, control ACS355 no problem. But I would like to put aside DriveWindow Light software, direct use of MODBUS POLL software. ACS355 + MODBUS_RS485 module + RS485 to MODBUS_TCP, Can I use the computer's MODBUS POLL software to directly control the start to stop? Do not use the manufacturer's control software.
