Thank you for clearly showing how big the screen really looks. I’ve watched about 50 reviews over 4 weeks and you are the only person to address this. You just saved me $500!
The company says you have to be 3 meters away from a wall to see the image at 120. The video creator was sitting at a desk with the wall right in front of him. It makes sense. You can't watch anything on a screen that big on a plane. It would make sense to reduce the image based on what's in front of you. Most airline seats/rows are only like 31 inches apart.
These def suit your needs. This review is for the old model. New ones have 120hz, not 60. They fixed the blurred edges. Multi screen display with spacewalker app. SUPER bright. You can literally do work in your car if you pair a Bluetooth mini keyboard. The iPhone acts as a mouse OR a laser pointer AND a track pad. I can park at the grocery store and pop these on and trade a few stocks before the bell closes on the left screen, and answer a new email in the middle screen. Once done, I push these b*tches on top of my head like real sunglasses and go get my groceries. OR I can leave these on my face as I’m shopping while I start watching the lakers basketball game.
@ChevitzSkitComedy do the pro glasses require you to look an external surface to get the best experience/largest sized "screen"? I want to get a pair to do similar productivity things on the go.
@@kwolf506 I own this, and I know for a fact that you need to sit 3 meters away to truly appreciate its size. When you put your hand close to the screen, it doesn’t appear any larger than your hand. However, at a distance of 3 meters, some magic happens, and my 75-inch TV is dwarfed in comparison
i use my viture pro xr in my lougeroom and the screen overlays infront of my 75", it has a very large sense of scale, more so than my 32" monitor it does feel like a 100"+ screen for me, like im sitting in a cinema
Thank you for your candid review - we agree, the "at 3m" part of the "120" screen at 3m" is very important! We're glad that you're enjoying VITURE One overall and that's it's been able to make your Nintendo Switch experience better on the go. Great video!
I wish these were more of a goggle with sides on them than look like sunglasses which really serve no purpose. At least if they were goggles it would allow the user to focus more on the screen like a theater experience.
This review is 100% accurate. I was pleased with my glasses, happy I purchased them, but the comfort of wearing them and the blurry edges knocked off two stars of my review. They will definitely get used for plane time or cramped spacee but they don't replace a real monitor. I left a 3 star review on the shop page for these, but it's a bit disappointing to see that Viture has chosen not to publish anything below 4 stars. I like this company and would support them again.

(From a person who owns Viture glasses, this video is misleading) 1. The screen does not have to move in the direction you move your head; click the small mode button on the left arm of the glasses 3 times to hold the screen in space (good for gaming). 2. The sides of the screen are slightly blurry because the virtual ‘monitor’ seems to reach the edges of the glasses frame (not physically, just by vision) so yes, the screen is big… not 27” unless you had your head waayyyyy too close to the monitor😂 I would say the screen size is about 40” which is too big for me…. I have a 32” tv in my room which is perfect for the distance I watch tv at (about 6 feet away). The screen is a great size for gaming when you need to focus…. But not AS good for Movies…. I’ve purchased the neckband so I can move the screen back a bit slightly👍🏻 3. Yes, it isn’t perfect for computer use due to the blurred edges HOWEVER, when you pin the screen in space using the mode button, you can move your head to look at every angle and edge with ease and 0 blurring. 4. I have astigmatisms in both eyes so ANY other AR glasses are unusable… but with Vitures adjustable lenses , it’s like wearing my very own prescription tech glasses😍. 5. I have to admit, although I love my Viture glasses, they aren’t worth £300. They’re basically just monitors. Unless you get the neckband which totally changes everything.
I have purchased these glasses also and have noticed the blurry edges. A solution that I have used for this especially while using as a monitor is to use the 3dof pinning which is not a feature you covered in this review. Its not perfect but it does allow you to move your head to read the edges of the screen if you need it.
Thanks. It looks like you answered my question. Even though I wear glasses I find it difficult using my work PC laptop while traveling, a 15 inch screen. Looks like this will not make it any easier to read the text and use the computer with.
Very interesting video, I haven't seen anyone else to point out the different display sizes in such a way. Just as the soft edge issue that I haven't heard before.
It's hard reporting a thing that's very subjective. Even the viewing space changes how 'big' the screen feels. I have a pair, and it's weird how my brain interprets the screen. If there's a wall nearby, the screen feels smaller. If I'm looking across the room, or laid back looking at the ceiling, the image seems a lot larger than my 55" from about 6' away.

Thanks for mentioning the refresh rate! I totally was gonna get the Viture's for the higher screen brightness, but now I'm thinking about the xreal's for 120hz.
finally the review I was looking for!! real explanation of how really works the distance and real application.. i was looking for such glasses in order to replace my 27" monitor but I think the technology is not yet there. thanks a lot
mafrend, XR is meant to be used spatially, that's how you get the super large screen. You're supposed to move your head around, so the blur and size aren't a problem
I have the xreals and am experimenting at the moment. With the ‘fixed’ screen where it follows your head around (the default mirroring mode) I think its almost unusable for productivity - you have to only use your eyes to see things in the corners but with a real monitor you’re likely to move your head slightly so your eyes are only doing small movements, not straining to the edges of your view. It needs proper tracking to allow your head to ‘decouple’ from the screen to be useable IMO. And that relies on software on the computer - my only experience is the nebula software on mac which isn’t great and the size of text is too small to be easily readable without making the screens too big to be comfortable using. They’re still great for media consumption but for productivity I’ll be experimenting with VR and hopefully updated glasses will have better tracking built in or the software for computers will be much better. its a shame as with more robust tracking software I think they could be a good alternative to a computer monitor - eg letting me use extra monitors and not be tied to my small office area in my home.
Thank you!! I am trying to improve ergonomics due to neck pain. I figured when working from home on my couch it would be better for my neck. This saved me from making an impulse purchase!!

Would have been great to hear some impressions regarding the color accuracy at least, if these are impossible to measure with a colorimeter. This is what's stopping me from getting a set of Rokid Max or Nreal Air 2 as a gaming display for my PS5.
Thank you for your review! I was considering buying the device to use as a monitor for editing videos on my laptop, aiming to maintain good posture and alleviate my neck pain. The blurred edges is a matter of the lenses I think. Quest 2 VR headsets also have blurred edges but Quest 3 doesn't so maybe XR glasses will be good eventually even though different companies keep reproducing glasses with the same "bird bath optics". I still enjoy these a lot for emulation games that don't need a lot of attention to small text.
Thank you for the review. Could you also review the newer Viture Pro glasses to replace monitor setup? They took your feedback and improved multiple aspects - they are larger, edge clarity is much better, refresh is now 120Hz.
I use the quest 3 with the immersed app to run up to 5 screens in windows. Both the pass through and vr environment backgrounds are really nice and the displays are great resolution. That’s the best affordable VR or AR solution to having a bunch of computer monitors that I’ve found and I use it for 6-10 hours a week when I’m doing my distance learning college courses
This is the first video for these (or similar) glasses that I've seen, which really made an effort to convey a realistic impression of the screen size, rather than just showing the marketing materials of this unrealistically huge display floating half a metre in front of someone. The text of their marketing mentions "at 3m", but what they show visually is totally different and misleading. Thanks for making actually useful and trustworthy content in a sea of sponsored noise.

I swear these glasses are amazing and you don't really compromise that much on quality or it makes up for what ever issues that are currently present with these glasses, like the video mentioned. I'm so happy with these glasses, as amateur musician these glasses make it supper easy for me keeping my head up and seeing my notes and DAW at the same time, it truly changed the way I make and perform music.
Hello. Thanks for the video. There are very few such videos about connecting XR glasses to a PC instead of regular monitors. Please, make the same video with the new headset - Xreal One.
The Xreal Air has a very slightly "larger" screen, 120hz refresh, and Im not finding nearly as much edge distortion on mine as you say you get with those glasses. You might want to contact them to see if you can get a review unit w/ the Beam. Im occasionally playing comp FPS using its 120hz mode on mine, and its actually great.
I have both, the color fidelity of Viture's screen is much better, I don't feel there's much difference between their screen sizes and refresh rates...btw the beam is awful, it drops the fps like crazy...
@@sekiro18888ive heard the same about the beam, I avoided getting it and run the Air off my Ally. While I agree the default colors are a bit odd, its nothing that cranking up saturation and adjusting the gamma and brightness cant quite easily fix for my use case. Also, you cant tell the difference between 60 and 120? Imo its a huge difference, will never go back to 60
Thank you for your honest review. I did 3 hours research about the glasses and you are the first one who shows the "120" inch screen size. Could you review xreal air 2's? They have a bit larger fov and 120hz panel compared to 60hz. In theory the monitor should be a bit bigger in those.
Mostly I play games for their graphics and surroundings like in uncharted, spiderman, etc. If I can't enjoy that smooth graphics exp in games on these glasses simply I would not by them for gaming. In travel though these can be effective but due to lot of objects around and constant moving environment, I think its hard to maintain clarity even upto 1080p. Though hoping for better future upgrades
it seems the perceived size is affected by the physical objects in front of you - perhaps with the glasses being seethrough your eye is focusing at that distance in real life which affects the perception of the screen? If so - what does it look like with a blackout ‘mask’ in front of the glasses so you have no physical objects in the real world to impact focus. Does it look big or does it look small? and how about if you have the electronic dimming turned as dark as possible?
Good review. I was tired of all the gaming reviews, I want to be able to do a dual screen setup without having to carry my current dual screen. I was thinking I can do my excel sheets on here lol
Hey I noticed you used DaVinci Resolve, does Davinci resolve recognise these glasses as a separate monitor , therefore you could have a dual screen set up with DaVinci Resolve? ......... just to add to that, can we see DaVinci Resolve from a PC or fro,m the latest Ipad Pro? How may screens can be up at one time? Great channel I just stubled upon
Fantastic review. Are you planning on reviewing the new Pro Viture that were released recently? Would love your insight on them before I buy them. There are a few reviews out already, but mostly focused on gaming and videos. Hardly anything focused on productivity.
but lenovo legion seems to be very different and seems to be able to replace monitor much better than other glasses, so can you do a review of these, pls?
Thank for your review comparing to other reviews. They are so misleading and hype for many times I thought these glasses are a must-have as they may replace the monitor.
You could try to make everything a bit bigger. Like the scale up option in windows. This would fix some issues :) Edit: Oh du bist ja deutsch. Kudos fürs gute englisch :P
you answered the most important questions that most reviewers do not. to me it seems most reviewers are not engaging their critical thinking and just build their script around the marketing claims.
I had PSVR2 for a week and I was really disappointed with picture quality even though most of the reviews were praising it. These headset displays have still a way to go before they can replace 2d screens, especially when it comes to sharpness. Probably even more hard with glasses type of headset with these ones in the video.
Thanksfor the review. I forgive to buy the XR glasses. I wanted to use this glasses to replace my monitor but it seems still intractable. Thanks to save my money lmao

This kind of thing is what will ultimately replace not just monitors but the television n the corners of our rooms. When the prices come down to sub $£100, then I suspect that they will take off in a big way, so watch out TV manufacturers as I believe that they may well be almost obsolete within 10 years. I can't wait to have a virtual 100" display right in front of my eyes rather than what I may expect around 10 feet away. The tech is early though and can only get better but even now it does seem to offer a fairly useful features. I personally don't even care abut 4K, so what I am sure will be regarded as dirt cheap 1080p would do me just fine.

All I want is VR games with goggles keyboard and a mouse. I don't want to stand around and pretend to have hands in the middle of a room. Technology isn't there yet.
So much false info in the comments. First of all, the new models are 120hz, not 60. Secondly, the screen size is smaller if you’re closer to wall snd bigger the further you are. Who the F watches a 120inch screen from 30 inches away?? In what world?! Back up a little bit. The company says 3meters.
These are not VR glasses. Completely different product. If you want a heavy toaster on your head that completely blocks everything out, meaning if I ever see you with it on in public, I can rob you and run away, go get the meta quest. These are so much more practical and easy. You put them on, and the screen automatically pops up, you don’t have to turn anything on, there is no wasted time loading. With the Meta Quest, it’s just like a computer, you have to turn it on, wait until it loads up. If you get a phone call or something happens, you have to take that thing off of your head, take the controllers off. It’s a freaking hassle man. These are so easy to use even while you’re on the go.
*_I understand the utility of these glasses but prefer to buy a pc. Also, if you are not aware of your posture you can hurt yourself with those glasses. I think it's made for a high-class audience like iPhones are._*

Do you think the a X Real Beam fixes the blurry edges?
Great video, really helpful. Especially the info about the true screen size and blur when using this for PC tasks.
Your the first one that talked about how much blur there is on the edges, thank you.
I can see sharp screen edge to edge
(From a person who owns Viture glasses, this video is misleading)
I’ve purchased the neckband so I can move the screen back a bit slightly👍🏻
3. Yes, it isn’t perfect for computer use due to the blurred edges HOWEVER, when you pin the screen in space using the mode button, you can move your head to look at every angle and edge with ease and 0 blurring.

Good point, I thought they could hold the screen in place so you could move your head independently, making the blurred edges a lot less of an issue.
Can you realistically have multiple screens up at the same time and use this feature?

Once done, I push these b*tches on top of my head like real sunglasses and go get my groceries. OR I can leave these on my face as I’m shopping while I start watching the lakers basketball game.
I didn't have the blurry edges experience at all, but reflections were a big problem. The diopters are fantastic
Tried both, viture is much better, as almost all the reviews pointed out. Xreal's 120hz is useless, the extra heat breaks leg of the glasses
Imo its a huge difference, will never go back to 60
@@DarrenPC 120hz is pure overmarketing from xreal, it is too hot when using 120 and people's glasses are broken because of this
Can you recommend a 165hz 1440p 27" monitor? I really want to buy MSI g273qf but there is no page on amazon
Do the comparison of G24f 2 and G24f please which is better
Thank you for your honest review. I did 3 hours research about the glasses and you are the first one who shows the "120" inch screen size. Could you review xreal air 2's? They have a bit larger fov and 120hz panel compared to 60hz. In theory the monitor should be a bit bigger in those.
Just found your channel and wanted to compliment your exceptionally clear and informative review. Cheers
Though hoping for better future upgrades
you made really good points in regards expectations and reality
Can you edit on these things? With a good color reproduction? Like OLEDs?
Can you do a review of lg 24gn650-b ?
it seems the perceived size is affected by the physical objects in front of you - perhaps with the glasses being seethrough your eye is focusing at that distance in real life which affects the perception of the screen? If so - what does it look like with a blackout ‘mask’ in front of the glasses so you have no physical objects in the real world to impact focus. Does it look big or does it look small? and how about if you have the electronic dimming turned as dark as possible?
The blackout mask thing definitely improves contrast and clarity, but it didn't change the perceived screen size for me.
Which one is more suitable for graphic design that has three monitors with good resolution for a long time on the eyes
Thank you for a useful and honest review.
Good review. I was tired of all the gaming reviews, I want to be able to do a dual screen setup without having to carry my current dual screen. I was thinking I can do my excel sheets on here lol
This was really useful! Thank you!
Must update us with new versions of glasses
Like xreal air pro ULTRA
and others versions ..
but lenovo legion seems to be very different and seems to be able to replace monitor much better than other glasses, so can you do a review of these, pls?
These glasses are perfect for playing Switch games! I am spoiled after using these and only play on the glasses now!
Thank for your review comparing to other reviews. They are so misleading and hype for many times I thought these glasses are a must-have as they may replace the monitor.
The imax cinema experience requires the real world overlay hence there AR experience. It's the illusion.
@techless Can you please review the Viture pro XR
Does the "screen" look like it's right in front of your eyes or like it's far away? Is there eye strain?
It's like the screen was far away, so focus is pretty relaxed.
Bro which is good for valorant Razer Viper 8Khz or Hyperx pulsefire haste?
I also appreciate the honest review! I guess I'll wait for Apple's Vision Pro. Thank you! - Subscribed!
You could try to make everything a bit bigger. Like the scale up option in windows. This would fix some issues :)
Edit: Oh du bist ja deutsch. Kudos fürs gute englisch :P
You can in fact get a huge display if you get the neckband and play the right videos.
thanks for the really nice review!
Why u did not use the app, so u could configure the settings of the glasses. U missed thta part big, sorry
I am not finding hOw to open the firmware/settings of any monitor. Techless shows it in a vdo. Don't find the one...Pls help anyone...
I'd take the VR version of this over this - that way you can still keep the 'monitor' centered whilst moving your head. Much more natural.
you answered the most important questions that most reviewers do not. to me it seems most reviewers are not engaging their critical thinking and just build their script around the marketing claims.
Sounds like they would be better for a Room facing desk. Small desk with your PC or laptop hidden. Just a keyboard and mouse.
I had PSVR2 for a week and I was really disappointed with picture quality even though most of the reviews were praising it. These headset displays have still a way to go before they can replace 2d screens, especially when it comes to sharpness. Probably even more hard with glasses type of headset with these ones in the video.
These are much sharper than VR
Reverb G2 is/was pretty good in my opinion for VR (video quality wise). These glasses are not VR so not fair to compare them.
Max Holloway doppelganger at 0:09.
Very useful, specially for PC monitor expectations.
How is the glass connected to a PC? Is it even possible via a GPU without USB C?
Hell yea. You can connect these to anything USB including your PC
seems like something to excited for in the future
Hello sir 😊 u r actually the most underrated tech TH-camr
Deserve much more recognition !
Cant have 2-4 screens?
Thanksfor the review. I forgive to buy the XR glasses. I wanted to use this glasses to replace my monitor but it seems still intractable. Thanks to save my money lmao
Im using my think reality from lenovo. It works great ad i have 6 monitors. It is a full replacement
Great review
minimalist setup this would be a good idea
though it would give you some nice privacy on whatever you're watching like in a airplane or public spaces
I'm waiting for mine to arrive 🤞
Glasses will definitely be replacing many of our monitors in the near future👍
Truckers need this.
Best review about xr glasses a ever see
their marketing was such a lie
In the Rokid Max AR - if you go in AR mode - can you make the screen much bigger to look like 120"?
hmm.. eye health issue might come up next..
yeah, these aren't even really close yet tbh

All I want is VR games with goggles keyboard and a mouse. I don't want to stand around and pretend to have hands in the middle of a room. Technology isn't there yet.
No way why those monitors are too freaking small
Ty
At 600$ they are still too much for me. But interesting all the same.
Thanks you for this review. All others just make advertisements.
it failing to give the big screen is def a deal breaker, especially the fuzz issue
get rid of those anandas and switch to iems
Another creator that I watch uses these just for watching movies on airplanes
So the glasses offer a 24 inch screen experience? That’s a lot of false advertising on virtues part then
rokid max screen more vide
Looks a gimmick to me. Sure it's a great idea, on paper. But that's all it is, an idea. At least in its current state.
tried rokid max. It's good as wearable monitor. also its support 3d with different picture for each eye
You’re right next to your wall no wonder it wasn’t big
Hi
Please tell me
Under 16000₹
Best monitor
I'm from India
Just increase the damage to your eyes a 100 fold
THAT DESING IS LKIE BUILT TO squish your eyes WTF ?🤣
Does it even fit the face a human person in those glasses XD ?
So much false info in the comments. First of all, the new models are 120hz, not 60. Secondly, the screen size is smaller if you’re closer to wall snd bigger the further you are. Who the F watches a 120inch screen from 30 inches away?? In what world?! Back up a little bit. The company says 3meters.
finally a no nonsese review. so vr still just sucks....
