I will never understand why are remakes and remasters so popular. They're just a way for game companies to cash in on the nostalgia of players while doing minimum work. Nowadays like 1/3 of announced games actually aren't original and we barely get new AAA IPs. Hell, the XSX and PS5 almost got no original games at all 6 months after their release. And gamers actually ask for more... like all they want is to play the same games again and again and again.

It was a Nintendo game about a previously used character who before this, only appeared in family friendly games, and it had swearing and violence. That’s hilarious. The gore is still pretty amazing, but I think the older graphics from the N64 made it less serious and more comedic, mainly because there’s these blocky ass squirrels getting shot up on a beach. How can you not laugh at that? I still love Live and Reloaded, but I prefer the original because it was funnier and more stupid.
I dont think the censorship was too bad since it was just bleeped out and not entirely rewritten to be something more child friendly, you still had a good idea of what they were saying and if you played the original then you knew exactly what they were saying, it was just a little disappointing.

In my opinion here are the key elements Microsoft and Rare got right: 1. The graphics improved 2. Your melee weapon can now do 3-hit combo attacks. (Prosfia somehow missed that concept for a while) 3. Ranged attacks now have aiming reticles, a mechanic the N64 lacked. It makes aiming easier. 4. The original N64 had a few moments where characters, mostly Conker, would break the 4th wall. Live and Reloaded extends that even further. 5. Shit and Cant are censored in this version

I grew up playing this Conker in the 2000's. Way ahead of its time and just too good to be dropped but it was. Chris Seavor has no plans to bring it back. We truly lived during the golden age of gaming and entertainment
I remember having a demo disk with Saving Private Ryan part on it and playing it a billion times. Later when the game actually was released: “Dad, can I get the game with the squirrel on it?” Worked like a charm 😂

WOWWWW, the version looks beautiful! I played through the N64 version a while back on Rare Replay (which is a collection of Rare games for the Xbox for anyone who doesn't know). Swearing and everything aside, this is actually a really fun game but the last two levels are pretty difficult. Like I took ages to finish them and was so thankful everytime I reached a checkpoint. It is still very fun though.

I'm 30 years old right now I remember my friend telling me about this game when I was in 5th grade and it originally released on the N64 and I was pretty sure he had some type of fever dream he was reciting to me. He told me about the Great mighty poo and the sunflower with huge knockers, pissing on the boulders in the nightclub, we ended up playing the game together multiple times on the N64 then I got live and reloaded on the Xbox and we reached to next prestige together online together, good times
The multiplayer mode of this game was amazing. Not sure if that was included in the reloaded version but I remember my friends and I having many hours of fun with it. Good times

I grew up playing Conkers Bad Fur Day on N64 Starting at around age 8-10 playing with my brother RIP, Sister & Brothers friends. Once they kind of out grew me I was in i believe 4th possibly 5th grade and they were into their middle school festivities and had no time for me. I had my Xbox and rented this game with high hopes. got some reason the appreciation and understanding of the game went over my head maybe because of me expecting it to be just like the N64 game but on xbox. I only remember playing the DDay level and never getting further. I know for a fact before even watching this walk though that i misused out on a lot of hood gameplay as a kid. I kept to e rented copy for over a week and returned it with a bad mental review to at has stuck with me until now. I'm 31 and randomly thought of the game and too like up a walk through, let's see what i missed!!!!

Since Microsoft aren't(for some reason)interested of making the sequel to Bad Fur Day or any projects on other famous Rare IPS, that means there is very little chance of Conker coming back. There has been other Conker projects after Live & Reloaded, but it was either totally cancelled or it got rebranded for other projects. And those that did become Conker games, it was just more like experimentation rather than the follow up that fans want.
To he honest I prefer to play Conket Bad Fur Day through Live and Reloaded. L&R has some weird choices like more censorship and more subdued expressions but it just plays so much better. Shooting feels really awkward on the N64 and on the Xbox it's way more natural. Plus I love the redesign given to Spooky and It's War. War especially looks so good in L&R.
@@axemansjazz6670 I actually think the increased censorship makes it a little funnier too. I often feel swears lose thier impact the more you hear them as just words. I remember vividly how impactful fuck and shit were for me because I only rarely heard them. Then I played the first Gears of War which says those words all the time, and by the time I finished the campaign they didn't phase me at all. However when you put a bleep over a swear it enhances the impact so they have a bit of punch still. Plus yeah, as someone who grew up in the era of 3D platformers, I feel a lot of them, especially N64 ones, are really rough to return too because everyone was still trying go figure out this whole "3D control" shit. The weird controller of the N64 does nothing to help. You can learn to adapt to the clunky controls but it takes patience. The only 3D platformer with full 3D movement that really nailed it immediately I can recall is Super Mario 64. Everyone else, there were a lot of growing pains.
After watching this walkthrough, I just wanna say I think Conker deserves his own adult television mini-series. Or at least a sequel

WOWWWW, the version looks beautiful! I played through the N64 version a while back on Rare Replay (which is a collection of Rare games for the Xbox for anyone who doesn't know). Swearing and everything aside, this is actually a really fun game but the last two levels are pretty difficult. Like I took ages to finish them and was so thankful everytime I reached a checkpoint. It is still very fun though.

@@Itsfayd not sure, never played live and reloaded and I got the N64 cartridge from my dad who bought conkers bad fur day when it was released. I still have the box design that the cartridge came in, but it is all wrinkled and scuffed.

I'm 30 years old right now I remember my friend telling me about this game when I was in 5th grade and it originally released on the N64 and I was pretty sure he had some type of fever dream he was reciting to me. He told me about the Great mighty poo and the sunflower with huge knockers, pissing on the boulders in the nightclub, we ended up playing the game together multiple times on the N64 then I got live and reloaded on the Xbox and we reached to next prestige together online together, good times

I grew up playing Conkers Bad Fur Day on N64 Starting at around age 8-10 playing with my brother RIP, Sister & Brothers friends. Once they kind of out grew me I was in i believe 4th possibly 5th grade and they were into their middle school festivities and had no time for me. I had my Xbox and rented this game with high hopes. got some reason the appreciation and understanding of the game went over my head maybe because of me expecting it to be just like the N64 game but on xbox. I only remember playing the DDay level and never getting further. I know for a fact before even watching this walk though that i misused out on a lot of hood gameplay as a kid. I kept to e rented copy for over a week and returned it with a bad mental review to at has stuck with me until now. I'm 31 and randomly thought of the game and too like up a walk through, let's see what i missed!!!!

@@yasashii89 don't you get it? Conker won't come back! Since Microsoft aren't(for some reason)interested of making the sequel to Bad Fur Day or any projects on other famous Rare IPS, that means there is very little chance of Conker coming back. There has been other Conker projects after Live & Reloaded, but it was either totally cancelled or it got rebranded for other projects. And those that did become Conker games, it was just more like experimentation rather than the follow up that fans want.
It would've been nice if they release the uncensored version

To he honest I prefer to play Conket Bad Fur Day through Live and Reloaded. L&R has some weird choices like more censorship and more subdued expressions but it just plays so much better.
Shooting feels really awkward on the N64 and on the Xbox it's way more natural. Plus I love the redesign given to Spooky and It's War.
War especially looks so good in L&R.
@@axemansjazz6670 I actually think the increased censorship makes it a little funnier too. I often feel swears lose thier impact the more you hear them as just words. I remember vividly how impactful fuck and shit were for me because I only rarely heard them. Then I played the first Gears of War which says those words all the time, and by the time I finished the campaign they didn't phase me at all.
However when you put a bleep over a swear it enhances the impact so they have a bit of punch still.
Plus yeah, as someone who grew up in the era of 3D platformers, I feel a lot of them, especially N64 ones, are really rough to return too because everyone was still trying go figure out this whole "3D control" shit. The weird controller of the N64 does nothing to help. You can learn to adapt to the clunky controls but it takes patience.
The only 3D platformer with full 3D movement that really nailed it immediately I can recall is Super Mario 64. Everyone else, there were a lot of growing pains.
A while back I found this for my Xbox one for $10!!! I was so happy I've always loved conker since I was a kid 😍🤞🏼 I still play it everyday 😌
