My mom survived from a miracle too! She told me that one day when she was I think she said 9, she was crossing the road from her apartments to something across the street when she was hit by a car going well over the speed limit. The impact shattered her legs, this all happened while her mom watched. When she went to the hospital the doctors said that there would be a low chance she survived, and now she's 35. Whenever it gets cold, her legs start to hurt still and she still suffers from bad migraines but she's alive.

I once was hit by a car at 50 mph on my bicycle. The doctor said that the crash should have killed or paralyzed me the only reason I survived was because of the helmet I was wearing. Because my head had gone through the car's windshield. Not only that, I didn't get a scratch on me, not even a broken bone. And I was back to bike riding a week later.🤘😝🤘

I had an incident similar to Ruth when I was a kid. I was nine, laying in my bed. My ceiling fan was on and made a weird noise. I ignored it for a bit but it kept bothering me. I looked at it and had a horrible feeling of "I need to get mom and dad." I got up and went to my door and as soon as I reached it, I heard this crazy banging noise behind me. I took off running (without looking) and went to my parents room downstairs. After I woke them and brought them up, I stood behind them as they entered.
A single blade had come loose from my fan and had launched into my bed, right where I was sitting. It cracked the headboard and broke part of the blade. Had it hit me...I'm not sure what would have happened. I likely could have survived but it would have hit my vital areas and if it had hit my neck, I don't think there would have been any way.
My parents wouldn't have heard it, being asleep in their room downstairs and who knows if I could have alerted anyone before the next morning.

almost killed my brother by accident when i was a child. we were playing with a heavy cabinet, pulling and pushing at it. it happened to be open when it fell on him, he was positioned just right to not get crushed. later i saved us both from going over a waterfall when we were stuck in rapids. I think close calls are 1000% removed from deadly accidents. almost died being born, almost got shot by an idiot, almost got stabbed by an asshole, almost died of food poisoning, almost got hit by an uncountable number of bad drivers, cracked my helmet open skiing. it happens so much i think theres a small infinity between close and deadly that is lost on us when we remember these things. its the unusual threats and the occasional miracle. we never ponder the times we lost our balance in the shower or ran a red light. the infrastructure of survival is geared towards these unusual threats, they are in your mind before the close call happens, and when you escape it because of the strength you knew you had when you judged the danger or because it was never likely to be deadly in the first place, it sticks in ur head. miracles are something else though.

My incident was small. When I was 12, I noticed my grandmother's sink had overflowed. Water was on the counter, the floor, and in the sink. I reached in to the sink to grab the remaining dishes when I noticed a tingling sensation through my fingers every time I touched the water. There was also a slight tingle at my feet. Honestly, it wasn't till later when my grandmother came home (with the plumber) that she explained, I could've been severely electrocuted because the garbage disposal broke with a live wire exposed inside. 😮

When i was like 8 there was a hurricane that happened to break a branch that hung right over my room in the mobile home we lived in at the time, this branch was longer than the entire trailer, it caved in the room over 6 inches. My brother and i slept in that room in a bunk bed i was on the top bunk, when i woke up i hit my head on the ceiling that was less than 2-3 inches from my face, we had to take the bars off the bunk bed for me to even get out of the bed. What stopped the branch from falling completely through was the end of it getting wrapped up in the ropes my brother and i hung for the "ninja course" we randomly had the idea to build the day before the hurricane hit

14:26 looks like the machine from Spider-Man movie. And when I was 4-6, somewhere around there, I was in a flotie where you put the child in the middle, it was a clear yet windy day, then my flotie flipped and I was stuck under the water, I was panicking and trying to grab the corner but the flotie’s circular frame was keeping my short arms for grabbing anything, I blacked out eventually as my lungs started to burn from the inside. When I woke up, I was in the hospital with doctors working on my to get the extra water out of my lungs. My dad said that he grabbed me and did CPR but it didn’t wake me up and the doctors said my heart had stopped. I left my dad traumatized and he STILL doesn’t let me get in floties.

When i was 11 back in 2015, I was using the pedestrian crosswalk to cross one of the major roads in my city. This was after school ended, so i was heading home. I got hit by a vehicle, and according to witnesses, I had flown roughly 20 feet, and my head was the first to collide with the ground. I remember being in the hospital, going in and out of sleep when i overheard a doctor telling one of the nurses, "With how young she is, I'm surprised parametics arrived in time to save her" and all i remembered questioning to myself is "I could have died, why?". Now that im older, I realize the why part 😂

A few months ago, my youngest brother (9 years old) was riding a bicycle with my mom and the middle brother, (i was at the gym when it happened) they crossed the road, and a lorry collided with my youngest brother's bicycle. According to my middle brother, the bicycle fell and he rolled onto the road. Fortunately he didn't suffer any major injuries, just a fractured collarbone and a scratch on the forehead. My mom told me about what the doctor said. The doctor said that if he had been any older, he would have permanent damage to his collarbone. 🙏

honestly, i have no idea why i'm still alive! falls, drownings (2 rescucitated), electrocutions, car crashes, explosions and the list goes on
best one? when i was about 12 (1970's) i used to build my own model rockets, including airframe, engine, launch pad, ignition system and i used propellants from dismantled fireworks for the engines - after building several engines using a cardboard body, i decided to make an engine out of a seltzer cartridge! it's like a tiny compressed gas bottle made out of hardened steel
i set it in my home made test facility buried in sand (inverted) up to the nozzle and ignited the engine from approx 6 feet away using a car battery - the engine ignited and fired up nicely,, when suddenly the flame went berserk and i knew what was coming
it exploded! the explosion was so loud my brothers' girlfriend who was on the other end of the phone jumped! the sand was launched so fast it penetrated my skin all over one side of my body causing bleeding at every impact, the seltzer cartridge itself bounced off the brick wall and scraped across my stomach leaving a 1/2 inch high welt across from right to left
fortunately for me, it was the unbroken side of the seltzer cartridge which caused the welt! had it been the other (torn open) side i would have quite literally been gutted
edit: my father kept that seltzer cart and it's still in his desk drawer! i once tried to bend the torn pieces with multigrips and couldn't move them at all

I was riding a gas powered tao tao 120cc ATV around my neighborhood, which was a masterplan community in which allowed all motor vehicles except illegal ones from the state or nation on the roads. But just not the main road of my neighborhood. I was riding down one of the small roads which did have cars parked on sides and cars going through, so I used hand signals, because my ATV didnt have any signals except for headlights and brake lights. I noticed a car behind me and I was coming up to a T-Section. I was so scared of braking that the car would hit the back of my ATV, so I went ahead and turned right without stopping. But little did I know there was a big ass white truck in the way, and I swerved making the ATV go on two wheels on the left side. I narrowly hit the wheel which would have smashed my head. Maybe even the thin metal body of the truck. As soon as my ATV went back on four wheels, I stopped at the curb to literally contemplate on what just happened. I was an idiot driver, maybe even acting like a drunk driver, and holy hell I still remember this like it was yesterday.

I wouldn't be here to type this comment if it weren't for sheer luck. I worked for a moving business when I was 20, and we were driving on some back road in east Texas on the way to College Station in a box truck with a small 500lb load. Not even enough to take a quarter of the cargo space. I was in the passenger seat reading a book. The driver had his lunch out since we'd been on the road about 3 hours at this point, and it was around 11:30am. At some point, he dropped some of his food and looked down to pick it up right as we came up on a bend in the road that he hadn't noticed. I looked up from my phone right before we flew off the road, hurling towards a fence at 65mph down a ditch about 4ft deep. He immediately turns the wheel to get us back on the road, but he overcorrected and effectively used the ditch as a ramp throwing us up in the air and the momentum of the immediate sharp turn was enough to spin us around mid air. When we hit the ground again, we were backwards in the oncoming lane and skidding into the opposite ditch that was deeper than the last. At this point, the only thing I could do was brace for impact as I told him "we're gonna flip." Sure enough the truck flips onto the passenger side and grinds to a halt a few seconds later. Neither of us were wearing our seatbelts. I'm laying on my side with his lunch box next to my head and his food all over me and he, and I still have no idea how, landing upright on my chest, literally standing in the sideways cab. He gets off of me, and I use the gaps in the seat, and the seat belt buckles as steps like a ladder, open the driver side door and climb out, and pull him out after me. We were, miraculously, largely uninjured. I had a nauseating concussion, was bruised pretty much head to toe, and multiple hyperextentions and pulled muscles from the strain of the impact and my desperation to grab anything I could to brace myself. He was bruised and bleeding from the ear, which was only a small cut from one of the many things flying around the cab. We got out and checked the load and the damage to the truck. The load had snapped clean through our straps and slammed into the doors bending the door latches which were two steel poles with hooks on the top, bottom, and middle and destroyed wood and fiberglass entirely with the only thing keeping the doors in place was the steel latches. Had we been going forwards when we landed, I'm almost entirely convinced that the cargo would've busted through the fiberglass and wood and hit us in the back of the heads, likely killing both of us since theres absolutely zero steel to act as any sort of frame towards the front. Besides that, the truck was largely undamaged because it had apparently rained a day or two before this and softened the ground. Hell, even the window and passenger side mirror were completely undamaged. Just covered in mud. The ramps, about 12ft long, made of fiberglass, aluminum, and wood and stored under the box compartment on the passenger side broke free of the straps holding them in place and lodged itself in the ground. One half of the ramp (the ramp was two pieces that is put together in the middle by 2 hinges) was sticking out of the ground about 20ft from the truck and snapped completely in half with the other half another 30ft down the way. The county sheriff was called about 10 minutes after the crash by a passerby who offer his help but the jurisdiction apparently belonged to the state troopers which it took them an hour or so to get out there. A wrecker came about an hour after that, and he gave us a ride to the town he was based out of about 45 minutes away and we just sat at a Dairy Queen for the next 9 hours as I tried not to puke from the concussion induced nausea waiting for one of our guys from the company to come get us. Boss didn't even ask if we were okay for 2 days and we still had to get a hotel and finish the job. The customer was super understanding and didn't care that her stuff was broken, just glad that we were okay and pretty pissed the boss didn't have us come back home immediately. The day after getting back to town, I went into work to fill out the accident report. The second the boss asked if I was going to work that day, I just told him "go f*ck yourself," filled out the report and walked home. He was pretty pissed about that until the secretary, who heard the whole phone call when the accident happened, reminded him that he didn't even ask if we were okay and that we just survived a wreck that could have killed us both. I guess that got through to him and other than a drug test which is standard for an accident, I was left completely unpunished for the comment. The concussion was by far the worst part.
If anyone has made it this far, thanks for your time. Take life day by day and don't take it for granted. Anything can happen whether it be of your own doing or out of your control. Take the 2 seconds to put your seat belt on. You really don't want to learn how much bouncing around the cab sucks the hard way, trust me. Take care!

My story: In my village, we had a competition where we had to climb the statue of jesus and his mom. I also wanted to try, and i climbed higher than everyone. I climbed on the head of the statue (7 meters btw), but i slipped and fell to the ground. But not just to the ground, i flew past it and fell on the staircase (another 4 meters btw) and fell head-first to the ground. And fell a litel bit to the right from my right eye... Firstly, i was just alright, but after a minute, i started felling dizzy on my way home. My grandpa rushed me to the hospital, where we listened to the doctor, and he said, that everything is ok. I still can feel the difference of my right and left part of the head after 4 years. I'm 11 btw.

It's not a quick or super exciting tale, but the odds were definitely not stacked in my favor.
I was born two and half months premature, in critical condition, immediately abandoned and left in an orphanage in south-eastern Russia. Due to my health issues, along with the less than ideal "care" that "undesirable children" like myself were dealt in the orphanage, I was all but fully ignored and was expected to pass away/left to die before I reached a year old. Thankfully, I was adopted by a wonderfully kind American woman and given a chance to live; however, my mom's husband turned out to be an abusive alcoholic narcissist and would abuse my mom, adoptive brother and I for years until we had the strength and means to leave. Also, due to the less than great circumstances of my birth/early development, I have a laundry list of health problems and trauma. So, I survived, but that doesn't mean that I was "lucky". You win some, you lose some.

I have had a couple of close calls, and l believe l have been protected from some things that l wasn't even aware of. This one happened when l was 19, l am now 71. I was sitting in a car with a boy at the beach. The car was parked on the edge of a steep cliff face overlooking the beach. We just sat there talking. I honestly don't know what l was thinking at the time (and l did not have a death wish) but suddenly l just reached over and turned the key (l am not a driver and did not know it would start the car to go forward). I felt the car lurch and l immediately turned the key back, and the car stopped. We were so close to going over the edge! I honestly believe that an Angel held the car back and that God protected us. It was just an absent minded thing to do, but we were protected.

I have a story of when I shouldn’t have survived if you’d like to hear it. It was a car wreck in 2020 in Cleveland Tennessee. I was driving a 2018 dodge challenger. I was merging into the interstate after Christmas and it was busy. Busy busy. And due to the threat of severe weather recently there was a ton of salt all over the roads. Meanwhile I was trying to merge into the interstate after Christmas, nobody would let me merge over. By the time I had ran down the entire merging lane and ran onto the shoulder, I was still trying to figure out how to merge except now I couldn’t stop, turn, speed up or anything since my car was just sliding through 4” of salt piled up onto the shoulder. Unfortunately there was a semi truck parked on the shoulder with no lights on, no cones out or anything and my car slid up underneath it and completely peeled the roof back. I should’ve died. When I opened my eyes all I could see was red from the taillight of the trailer. I was centimeters away from death and I have pictures to prove it.

In 2017, I was the pedestrian in what should have been a fatal automobile-pedestrian accident. I was crossing at a set of traffic lights, when I saw the walk sign. I went to step out, and was struck in the right leg by a car traveling at 60 km/hr. Three things saved my life that day: The posted speed where I was struck was 90 km/hr, had the driver had been traveling at that speed I would have died. I was also wearing a helmet due to riding a bicycle, and the third factor was training i had in judo, where I had learned how to fall, protecting my head. The accident resulted in a fracture of my tibia/fibula and some road rash, but fortunately I survived.

well i was in a pretty bad car accident back in 2020. I was driving on the highway and someones driver side tire came off their car, and went under my passenger side. My ca flipped and slid 50 feet down the guard rail. Surprisingly no broken bones but i needed stitches and my fingers got mangled as well.

Surprisingly a lot of people could probably survive a particle accelerator depending on whatever is being used whether it’s electrons, neutrons or protons and it’s something called Bragg-peak where for example protons can travel and cause radiation poisoning and damage but only travels to a certain distance through matter, and as it travels through the matter it looses its energy, Anatoli received high energy protons and he lived because of the narrow concentration of nuclear energy that went to his head, so really anybody could have the high probability chance of living from a particle accelerator depending on what particles and how they are delivered to you

    • @Pholland_8409
      @Pholland_8409 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

And also the entered the room and didn’t look into a accelerator because that would be stupid but as soon as he entered the room there were still particles floating around at high speeds because after an accelerator is turned off, it still has particles floating around in the air at high speeds for a while

Was with my ex wife and our mate in Melbourne, Australia, and we were waiting for the 92 tram back to the city. I heard (from what I belibe was God) that we should not get on that tram, but wait 5 minutes. I eventually got them to agree and went to the city later. On the news that night, that very tram had a head on with another and a lot of people were injured. Also; I was driving with my then wife and I was heading around a bend, it was a little wet but I wasn't speeding. We lost traction and went through a fence, right exactly between two posts and came to a stop in the field. The VERY next car on this random ass road had a winch. Would you believe it?! Also, I was diagnosed with Epilepsy in '14 and was put on meds. Forgot that day, and started driving with my mum to visit my sister, I turned the corner onto the main street, and that's the last thing I remember. I drove the entirety of the main street, gave way, pulled up at the service station, turned the car off and then had a seizure. All in a seizure state. Not my time, and God's on my side ❤ one more! I was born with a Diaphragmatic Hernia, a sorta tear in your Diaphragm which allows the digestive organs to enter (stomach and intestines for me) but doctors just said it was reflux. I was born at 5 lbs 10 Oz, so not very big. I kept vomiting everything up and losing weight. At 6 weeks, my parents had enough waiting and took me to another doctor. They did an x-ray and found my hernia. Flew me to Hobart that very hour and put a g-tube in me to feed me, but I kept rejecting it. I was 5 lbs 1 Oz when they operated. A 15% chance to live. Here I am ❤

Oh, and another. I was driving to work in outback Australia, running a bit late so I was going a bit faster than I should have (country roads absolutely desolate) going around this corner at about 130 kilometres/ph & saw at the last minute a fist thick tail of a red Kangaroo miss my headlight by what couldn't have been 5 inches. Near shat meself. Certainly slowed down after that. And... another one that I learned my lesson. When I was young and stupid, was driving down the Blue Mountains in New South Wales at a lot faster than I should have been. I overtook a car down the hill near a bend, and then a car was coming pretty soon after I stopped overtaking. Was pretty stupid but I learnt my lesson. Could have been very nasty indeed.
