Hi, I’d like to ask you one question. I just bought Sony zv e10. I use it in purpose to make video as a content that per video it might takes around 1h. And I just set it in HD with 24p, sadly that video size had nearly 30gb in memory card. Because I’m new to camera, that I really don’t know if any setting was set wrong. Do you know how to shoot video in HD with lower size?
Using it for my Real Estate business, home walk throughs, shots of me using my drone, all around all purpose camera. Will start vlogging with it shortly too! Love it so far!

With that, take things one step at a time, be patient, stay consistent, and be happy. We only have this one life so make sure you're doing something that makes you happy.
After months of hunting, just found a white zv-e10 in stock locally and finally got it as my first camera for content creating. I didn't know where to start, so thanks for this video! It has been a great help!

And the onboard mic holds up so well even to extreme South Australian coastal wind! I'm super impressed and can't wait to really work out how to use it properly. This Think Media video will be watched many times by me, I'm sure :)

I just purchased the ZV-E10, after having watched a number of yours and others tutorials about the camera. I am a travel vlogger. My camera differed on a couple of things to those in this video. In particular the Record Setting, mine only has 25p 100M and 60M and no other options. There is much, so much to learn but I shall keep watching as many of your tutorials and hopefully learn to master it.
Finally pulled the trigger on getting my Sony ZV-E10. This video was perfect! This will let me shoot my talking head videos but with better easy. Small stuff like the tally light, the reticulated screen, and 4K quality combined with the price is what drew me to this one.
I just bought this camera for the 3rd time. I had returned it 2x because I was overwhelmed and it was easier to film phone. But now I have leveled up a lot and know so much more that it isn't as overwhelming anymore and I am excited for a shoot day to play around!
The main reason for me returning as the shot was too narrow and I couldnt find a wide angle lens. That simple tip of turning off the active shot is a game changer for me!!! Thank you!!!!
Your video is a great way to understand the different settings, and definitely appreciate it. Some of particular settings you are using works well for your particular situation, the ambient room lighting, color of paint on the walls, how far the camera is away from the subject and so forth. Your exact setting for instance does not exactly work for me, but I used them as a basis to start with understanding this camera and then having to tweak it. Awesome, thank you.

I really wonder when i use to shoot video for 1mn in HD, that the video size is around 500MB in memory card. If I shoot over 1h, then the its size is nearly 30GB. That’s killing me. I’m new to camera, I really hope the video size should be smaller in order to ease in editing. Could you share me any tips?
I very rarely leave comments on here (too bad, I know) however I wanted to express my gratitude for this video because being a Canon user all throughout, I was genuinely lost whilst using this camera and the quality was terrible (to the point I even thought on returning it) - turns out I was using the worst possible options and settings Thank you so much for posting such an informative video!

Once I do get my ZV10 i'll come back to this one, I have my primary Canon M50 with my Sigma lens and it's awesome but this is the next camera upgrade I want.

Recently started helping people produce podcasts with this camera. In the intelligent auto mode occasionally I would get a light increase randomly while recording. Excited to get the settings in ISO locked in so the shot stays consistent. Very helpful video. Thank you!

Greetings Omar! This is one of the best TH-cam instructional videos I've experienced! Indeed, I shall watch it again, my camera in hand, to be certain I've mastered my set-up! I'm using my ZV-E10 for my main channel videos, vlogs, and photography (Instagram and TikTok).
i know this camera is 2 years old but I love it and I got it for a good deal! hopefully as my youtube channel grows I can invest in more cameras and practice my photography!

This is great but one critique..if I may...you acknowledge this video is for a newbie...that being said, it would be helpful to go a little slower when changing things. I have to constantly rewind and try to understand what you are pressing. Otherwise, very helpful.
Thanks for your guide on this. I'm planning to get this camera with the kit lens that comes with it and be taking it to theme parks, etc so these settings should help me operate and take better videos and images

Guys you need to switch from PAL to NTSC.
Does the camera have a light while recording for night time ?
Change your memory card to extreme Pro SDXC V30 memory card. Then you will see it.
